HyperX Pulsefire Raid Review, Overview and Gameplay Testing
In this review of the HyperX Pulsefire Raid we take a look at what this gaming mouse has to offer for serious gamers. With its light weight, medium-to-large size and 11-programmable buttons, the Pulsefire Raid delivers a unique gameplay experience that is quite different from the recent trend of ultra-small and ultra-lightweight gaming mice.

Now this is what I call a mouse review. Exactly what I needed to see before deciding to buy this mouse
Did you bought it? Is it good?
@@saksham9882 i have this mouse and it is amazing
@@myname5560 my hands are kind of small, (17x9.5cm) would it be too hard to reach the side buttons?
i agree
@@saksham9882 really good, I use it for Fortnite, 1 edit button, and 4 for the builds
very good quality review, love the small software guide, a thing most reviewers forget to add, thank you so much. I think i'm gonna go with this one.
Congrats man! Very good content, I hope you receive lots of subs and likes!
I am SO excited for my mouse to come tomorrow I just ordered this mouse on Amazon and I'm SO excited once It gets here! 👍💯✅

is it good?
@@shreyashchauhan8567 5 months later, and I definitely love the mouse. It's pretty lightweight and has plenty of extra buttons that I use regularly. However, I've run into 2 problems that have me worried. The first is that the tilt function of the mouse wheel seems a little janky. After about 3-4 months of regular use, tilting it left didn't register anymore. It took a bit of messing around, but I did get it to work again by using the software. It's been fine since, but I don't know what happened. The second is more recent, which is that my mouse seemed to not have been registering correctly. It'd be plugged into my PC, but it wouldn't register movements (just right mouse and the side buttons would register). I fixed this, though, by using launching the software, which instantly brought it back. Just make sure to click "save to mouse" or else it'll happen when booting up your PC again. So I'm a little concerned for the mouse's lifespan, but I really do like it overall. I'm hoping these were one-time issues and not a sign of what's going to happen soon.
@@miguelvasques544 Thanks Miguel for the brief review. Sounds like the first problem can be avoidable if i don't use it. For the 2nd one, i will be on alert. Looks like a solid mouse to buy for 2years
@@shreyashchauhan8567 Np! It has it's uses, and the tilt wheel can be very useful if you're playing something and want to keep your left hand focused on movement. I'd recommend setting it to something that won't be critical to your gameplay though. As of right now, it's been working flawlessly, so I'm hoping something with the software messed with the mouse, and a quick settings save was all it needed. Hope you enjoy the mouse!
@@miguelvasques544 ohh i see. Going to order it soon, it has 10 day return. If anything doesn't feel right, i will just return.
I got this mouse two days ago from Amazon for $17.99. It gets very hot when you have the lights at 100%. Its still hot even at off but not much and the tilt scrolls only works on certain pages. Feels cheap compared to the Razer Deathhadder.
with an 170mm hand and claw grip do u recomend this mouse?
Does the software offer changing profiles automatically when using certain programs ? If so im definitively gonna pick this up. Logitech is having major double click issues so im scared to get any logitech atm
Hey man, awesome review of the mouse! Great opening sequence with some really cool perspectives! Did you use a camera slider to get these shots? Thanks man.
Thanks! I used a slider, gimbal and a fluid head.
@@ECPUz Yeah, the shots look super smooth man, great job! I have been watching some of your other videos, you do really great work. Any chance you would like to do a review for us too?
Great video, thank you.
Glad you liked it!
so, with the app, would i need to have the mouse plugged in to customize? and does it stay how i customized it even after swapping devices?
Best review
What switches are these using optical or mechanical ?
Im your 500 like 👍🏽
wonder how quick this will develop left mouse button double click issue many mice seem to suffer from last few year....looking at you logitech/razer/corsair.......
Yo thanks for this man! Good review the only thing I need to know now is how long is the cord!
1.8m or about 6ft. :)
@@ECPUzThanks bro!!
im looking for a replacement to my naga. I liked this mouse. Anyone know if support macros in linux? Naga dont :c nice review BTW!
What is the surface of this mouse? I got fingertip grip so a lots of traction comes from my fingertips and I need mouse with good surface.
About side buttons clicking? Software presets?
im torn in haste surge and raid. i play moba and mmorpg. what can you suggest?
What is the little screen you use with the camera for the zoom in mouse action sequences? Great review!
Glad you liked the video! The video monitor in the video is from Feelworld: amzn.to/2UvYFqw but I now use this one from Atomos: amzn.to/3AFu1M0
Hey does the mouse performance get worse with rgb on?
Any long term review on this mouse
does anyone know if the scrollwheel is supposed to be a bit tilted to the left or is it just my mouse?
Only 2 side buttons register in game for me and the others I can only use for media keys. Am I doing something wrong?
Try changing them to a numpad key, and in game attribute those keys to something
Is it better than razer essential v2?
Can you not set a sniper button?
Can it drag click?
whats the Grip Width
When I go into yt my mouse I click and it starts typing a certain button and I can’t scroll with the scroll wheel any body kno y
Raid vs G502 Hero Who's win?
Do you happen to know how well/easy to use are the mouse wheel tilt buttons?
wait too easy specially the one to the left. if u press the middle one it might press the left one instead or smth, hard to explain
I have a huge problem with the software, it does not minimize to the system tray. It stays open as a program, causing you to endlessly alt-tab to it and confuse it for a program you're actually using. This makes the software nearly unusable.
i learned you can hit windows+tab to open a new desktop and put the program there. It'll be out of the way and keep running, but you'll have to do it every time
is it good for minecraft?
Used this mouse for 2 years and center wheel broke twice during this
I am more curious about what monitor is he using. I like the looks of it. Someone please tell me.
to me it looks like a Benq EX3501R, might be wrong though
Hey, A few questions Does it drag click? If yes, at what cps??? Jitter click cps??? Butterfly click cps??? Does it double click??? This is really important for Minecraft players, so I would rily like to know ASAP, before buying, thanks for the review!
ghettalaiff
Nice review, but gameplay recording seemed a little laggy maybe obs settings?
do any of the buttons get in the way of the thumb
I think that depends on how you hold the mouse... if you're fingertip/claw gripping you could feel like the buttons could get in the way of your thumb, but if you're palm-gripping I don't think it's an issue at all.
@@ECPUz thanks man ur really hepful but i was talking about the big one not the back and foward one thanks anyways i'll sub
5280 subs... how ?!?!?!
almost 10k
@@ancientslav4863 Almost 13K
Why would you use an ex pad and not put ur keyboard on it lol
I came here to find out... is the DPI customizable in game?
It customizable in game you can hit the dpi button
doing stuff with liam is there a sniper button?
@@836universe yes the 5th side button
doing stuff with liam thanks
I’ve had it for a year I love the mouse but when I decided to buy the haste it was noticeably heavier and my skates wore out in a year although I do use a hard mouse pad overall for a person that doesn’t game so much and sweat it’s a good buy for all the programmable buttons but for a real gamer such as war zone or fortnite basically third and first person shooters the haste is a better buy
this or rival 3?
what is your choose ?
i wish it was ambidextrous :( i can't stand ergonomic shape
i guess that by his weight the Pulsefire Raid isnt FPS focused, but in a MMo he looks good
Finding THE perfect mouse is hard 1 everyone is different - hand size, shape 2 palm, claw, fingertip grip 3 mouse sizes, shapes, sensors, buttons etc... Ive had EC2-A (nice ergo for FPS) but for fortnite building or mmo or moba its not good. Glorious model o isnt for palm grip (me), razer viper ultimate and g pro wireless are expensive. this mouse looks good.
This mouse is not bad but at this price range there are better options
it is the only mouse with that amount of button and under 100g
@@edoardotrotta8006 You haven't found any other mice like this right? With all the buttons and lightweight?
@@123randoman There is none. well from none of the major gaming companies anyway.
@@edoardotrotta8006 exactly. I like this mouse specifically because it combines over 4 thumb buttons with a relatively light weight. Not sure about the software though. I want to save switchable hardware profiles to it and not have any Windows-only software running.
mouse makes too much noise on the buttons, and fabric feels abit cheap, thats my only critics...
Don't think this is a mouse made for FPS games, but for MMOs and RPGs. It literally says "Raid" in the name.
