Striking wise? No. Wrestling wise? Yes. If hes wrestling, then his cardio is the best. He doesnt have the striking cardio like that.

I feel like ngannou might be considering the shots he ate from a 240 pound stipe for 5 rounds and didn’t get dropped Romero has a crazy chin but he has been dropped by paulo and Tim Kennedy although there’s no shame in that since they are powerful fighters themselves

@@TheFightingBusiness I think Diaz brothers got really good cardio too maybe enough to deserve a mention like you said Nate is like robot that just keeps moving forward and doesn’t change pace.

For Cardio I have Holloway and then Ferguson. I have Tony above Colby because Tony’s performance against RDA was an insane pace and it was 7,300 ft elevation in Mexico City. This was the same place where “Cardio” Cain gassed out against Werdum. Tony shined in the later rounds. Colby did good as well but it wasn’t quiet the challenge considering it was 150 feet elevation and it was an older RDA as well. Tony landed 200 strikes and Colby landed 142 strikes. Just a quick reminder why Tony is El Cucuy
Max landed double of Tony. Or more than double of Tony any Colby combined
@@niranjandesai6766 yeah I honestly find Colby’s performance against Robbie to be the greatest display of cardio in the ufc. 500+ strikes 10 takedowns landed 18 takedowns attempted 9 minutes of control time. Colby really displayed insane amounts of cardio in every aspect of the sport. Just my opinion though.
I'll also have Max as the best chin. Most head strikes absorbed in UFC history and no knockdowns. Well you could count the one against Porier as a knockdown but the fence stopped his fall and it's the only time he fell from a punch.

@@angusburnett7299No. For best fight IQ I have Jon Jones as a runner up. I have Anderson Silva as a the 2nd runner up and GSP as the best. And some honorable mentions would be Israel Adesanya, Lyoto Machida, and Demetrius Johnson.
Holloway shouldve been runner up in cardio AND chin, the sheer volume he puts out in every round and the fact he's never been knocked down is insane
Honestly, Max Holloway has a solid argument for best boxer, best cardio, and best chin. The man’s record for most significant shots landed is way above anyone else’s and he has never been dropped despite absorbing more head strikes than any other UFC fighter

Tony chin is way better than holloway to be honest, I agree max could be added in the cardio as top though.

I agree for the cardio, but not the chin, simply because he is so dominant in the striking that he hasn't taken too many shots, so we can't tell how good his chin is.
@@Reaching4Grapes max took a beating against Dustin, and not even get dropped or sign to be dropped.... And we all know Dustin a big lightweight. that really says something. At least I ll say Max is on par with Tony.
@@captainquagmire859 How is Tony’s chin better than Max’s? Tony gets dropped all the time. Max has never been dropped and he has absorbed more head shots than any other UFC fighter. You’re judging Tony’s chin solely based on one performance against Gaethje. Look at their entire histories and Max clearly has the better chin

Tony is literally obsessive to a psychotic level. He will work until his arms fall off. Like he was lapping professional athletes with mountain sprints. Like go up and down and still beat them on the way up before they reached the top once. Him and Max Holloway don’t just beat colby, they blow him out of the water. Speaking about toughness, remember the storm Robert Whittaker survived against Yoel? How easily Yoel shrugged off that head kick of custa. Even an old ben askren, or lawler himself. There were so many more better options than Moreno, and Brian is debatable but a very good choice.
I know khabib is known for his grappling but he definitely had some of the best cardio

Chin and IQ arent even fight styles💀it would make more sense to title these "The Best UFC Fighters By Fighting Attributes", that way u could incorporate combat styles and other aspects of their game
Technically they can be if you weaponize them ex rodtang from ONE championship some dudes fighting styles are literally built around the fact that they aren’t easy to drop utilizing a low guard and high volume striking
@@chefxhyrule242 yea i get what u mean and i agree that people do weaponize these attributes but for example someone with, say, a really good chin doesnt necessarily have to use that chin as a part of their game (ex. khabib)

Come on, Max holloway isnt even a runner up for cardio. Look at his striking numbers, watch his fights. Like this isn’t even a difference of opinions, its just facts.
Thing is tho max is usually all striking as opposed to Ferguson and colby who mix it up and as someone who trains, striking isn’t anywhere near as hard as striking and grappling

Max should be a runner up but we have seen Max get tired, like in Holloway vs porier 2.

Dude this video is nasty too! I'd love to see part three, probably a category for the best overall fighter. However, I do believe the idea its even better without any voice and with the first video edition of mostly comments on the background and highlights. It looks way more cinematic

Blagoy Ivanov has an insane chin too. Stipe as well, literally nobody can take multiple shots from the Ford Escort and still be standing and even win a fight except Stipe.

Can you make a video on samoan fighters. I think it's interesting how a small place like that gets this many savage. And true savage. They're not beautifully jacked up. But they are true badass. Id love to know more about it. Or why in general certwin places produce so many fighters. What are the reasons. Is it the mentality of the people in general. Is it the infrastructure etc.

I think Khabib, Ferguson, and Nate Diaz have best cardio. Khabib took Abel Trujillo down 21 times out of 27 attempts in just 15 minutes. Didn’t slow down once. We’ve seen Khabib fight the best of the best. He’s never looked tired. In fact, he’s never lost a round… 🤫 Ferguson gets more energized and faster after every round. Seems to have unlimited stamina, and is always pressuring you. If you don’t finish him, it’s going to be a long 15-25 minutes. Nate runs triathlons at high elevations. We’ve seen fighters gas out trying to KO Nate, then nates still in your face, you’re gassing for air, and he’s fully energized looking to hurt you… scary stuff.
Khabib gassed out against Edson Barboza in the third round and Al Iaquinta in the middle rounds, and in the against Abel, he would take him down and not control him at all and Trujillo would get back up and Khabib would just take him down again, I wouldn’t say it was so much cardio as much as Trujillo just had no real takedown defense and Khabib couldn’t control him...
He also admitted to gassing in the third round of the Conor fight which he lost because he couldn’t take McGregor down

I could be wrong here, but I'm fairly certain Thompson was an undefeated kickboxer winning a decent amount more accolades than Izzy. I would give best kickboxer (not best striker) to wonderboy.
