  • Honestly, I think the two best "What if's" both involve Chael. What if Chael just stepped off the gas and coasted through the 5th round against Anderson, winning an easy unanimous decision? What if Chael lasted a few seconds longer against Jones, leading to doctors stoppage due to Jones having a broken toe? Man, I woulda loved to see that.

Tainted? Yes. Stripped? No. Champions are protected and Chael would’ve been a heck of a money making champion - he was a huge draw as a top contender.

This didn't come b4 Mighty Mouse who was crowned the 1st ever UFC Flyweight World Champion in September of 2012 against Joseph Benevidez and defended that title a record 11 times during this reign of terror be was at one time the #1 P4P in the world over the course of several yrs sadly after 6 years an vs 11 title defenses his dominate reign over the Flyweight division came to an abrupt end at the hands of Cejudo who oddly enough Mighty Mouse had already beat once during that reign of title defenses where he stopped Henry with brutal knees halfway thru Rd 1 so there's no shame there he tyne greatest Flyweight ever just had a 6yr 11 title defenses run come to an end by a paper thin split decision to a guy he had already TKO'd with devastating knees to the head and body only halfway thru the 1st Rd just 16 months prior this would sadly mark the end for Mighty Mouse as he would part ways with the UFC to go fight in the up and coming competitor's promotion known as One FC leaving behind an incredible and extraordinarily dominant reign over a division he played a massive role in creating for the UFC He literally created a competitive architecture for the 125 pounders out there who wanted to compete at that weight class thus the Flyweight division came to fruition seeing it's 1st ever title fight won by the man that would go on to be without a shred of doubt the greatest most underrated and over looked absolutely dominant without any pushback from competition did just that dominated over a 6yr 11 fight reign in the division he was responsible for the creation of and had this highly controversial razor thin split decision loss that many more than Most say was a robbery in broad daylight seeing the greatest Flyweight to ever grace the Octagon lose his Championship to an almost equally talented exciting and dominant fighter in Triple C who did go on to be an amazing champ who defended the belt numerous times against great opposition b4 moving up to Bantamweight to become one of only 3 male athletes and 1 female to ever become a simultaneous champion in 2 different weight classes although Henry did defend his Flyweight belt more than once after winning the 2nd belt becoming Champ Champ he retired b4 ever defending the newly won Bantamweight crown now all that being said back to Mighty Mouse who had this "robbery in broad daylight" as it was called hadn't happened and Mighty Mouse got the victory he deserved he undoubtedly would've remained the Champ for many many events to come seeing as how he'd already dominated the entire division and had already started doing it a 2nd time when this tragedy struck so if he'd got the victory there would've been nobody in his way to stop him finishing his 2nd dominant beat down of the rest of the division which would've prompted Dana White to do what was already in talks to dismantle the division for lack of competition and even competitor's themselves many were moving up in weight class hoping to have a better chance fighting a champion whose not named Demetrius Johnson so the moral and truth to this article I have sat here and took a good amount of time laying out for your reading and learning pleasure Demetrius Mighty Mouse Johnson was not only the absolute greatest Flyweight this planet has ever witnessed grace a Octagon or Ring or anything of resemblance that combat is competed in that being said not only is he the greatest Flyweight ever he single handedly along with Joseph Benevidez created and won the first ever Flyweight championship in the UFC thus giving life to the division we all know and love that is by today's standards absolutely stacked with incredible dynamic and some of the most fun to watch athletes in the organization this is all thanks to Mighty Mouse who won that belt and took off and ran with it forcing his peers to train harder and harder while drawing more and more competitor's to join the division to try and overthrow the Champ which one again over 11 defenses just didn't seem like it was ever gonna happen as a matter of fact so many fighters had gave up the ghost n moved up a weight class to try something easier Dana was ready to dismantle the division so Mighty Mouse the Creator and Dominator of this division was also just 1 fight away 1 prevented broad daylight robbery away from also being the Destroyer of the Division he once created and dominated for so many years after working so hard to create it build it up and rule it for over 6yrs with a dominant 11 fights under its divisional banner the Undisputed Flyweight GOAT Demetrius Mighty Mouse Johnson was the Creator Dominator and dangerously close to Destroyer of what is fans know today as simply the 125ers or the little guys but with that kinda evidence b4 u I'm pretty confident in saying you'd be hard pressed to find anybody to dispute the fact that Mighty Mouse is indeed without any shred of doubt and with no viable argument to be made is the Flyweight GOAT. Luke had a good chin at one stage in his career, it got degraded with damage but great defence would have alleviated that issue. In any case I do think had he beaten Bisping a second time he would likely have successfully defended his belt against Jacare Souza and Gegard Mousasi, but would have lost it to either Whittaker or Romero.
