I get so Mesmerized watching you shear. You are so calm and confident. This sheep looked like it’s wool was shredded and not a dense pack. Looked hard to shear, but you did great. Was this wool a different density for the breed? I appreciate seeing all the different breeds you shear, and seeing the different growths and densities. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and educating us along the way. Few people know the funky smells of wool and sheep 😮. Dads hands were always soft cuz of the lanolin in the wool. Take care, I watch and enjoy all your vids. Hugs.

Yeah; it’s my understanding that Churros usually have quite a mixture of long hair in with the shorter wooly part. I bought a churro fleece from the shepherd in October, and it has coarse hair, and long, like guard hairs, along with the wool. I haven’t done anything with it but wash a sample yet. I understand it fulls quite well.

It wasn't until she released the sheep and turned off the clippers that I realized how intensely I was watching, Even after I relaxed, I swear it felt like my hand was buzzing!
