On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Vid about Iran saying they can detect stealth?
That was such a sick video man, one of my favourites for sure. F-22 is just a beast. Never seen anyone give up like that before. Bizarre and funny at the same time, weird feeling to see that for some reason. Now you just need to do one with you in the F-35 BVR versus SU-57.
AH-64 vs SU-57 🥺👉👈
I think it's time to do a f-22 vs f-22
I would like to see an F-15E with Metor missiles!!
Flanker Pilot upon return to base: You won't believe how crazy that fight was! I fought the F22 till I had no weapons left. Then the F22 ran away once he saw I would never give up. I swear!
you beat me to it sir :)
yeah that dude shoulda been shot down or eject. never let them go.
Doesn’t matter he went back without a single kill the Chinese government will kill him
let me check your gun cam comrade
@@sanjeever82 Exactly! Imagine how you'd feel if that pilot/bird came back later and killed one of your buddies.
Man, that disarm was so unexpected.
Facts
never seen that before!
@@cgilleybsw Me neither.
It's a great strategy honestly. That way if he does execute him, it'll haunt the pilot for the rest of his life.
Was the fighter who disarmed Flown by a real person?
1. That flanker pilot did an amazing job fighting an F22 (he got much closer than most to killing and even managed to force a merge). 2. He was also smart enough to know when things were over and surrender.
Except that would never work unless the Raptor pilot was willing to escort him into captivity... Which in middle of mission like this wouldnt be possible
@@Asghaadyou don't need to kill or capture the enemy to win a combat situation
@@Jst4vdeosNot a one-on-one, but what do you think happens when that Flanker-jock hits the radio button to say there are Americans operating in the AO, that he has his gun and camera tapes for intelligence now gathered on the Raptor's combat performance? Combat isn't just about winning or losing the one-on-one fight. And it's not about allowing the the enemy to keep functional equipment that you'll have to fight again tomorrow. If the Flanker pilot ejected, fair enough. But he would NOT have gone home in a real-life situation like this. If you believe otherwise, you're incredibly naïve.
@@Jst4vdeos If you don't want him to comeback and kill your buddies.....yes you do.
Much respect, he definitely knew what he was doing.
No one is going to believe that one dude when they're all at the bar and he's giving his "I escaped an F22" story again. 🤣

Trying to make him surrender then just shooting him instead was gold 😂
Frantically scribbling ELEC SYS FAIL on his notebook with a sharpie might have helped
Would have been gold if the guy had rammed the F-22 when he pulled up beside him!
He heard that last guy was shot when he landed at base and told his superiors that he surrendered. 💀
I'd have just gunned him down with 20mm at that point.
But I think actual surrendering would have involved GS escorting him back to home base. It would have been a POW or defection situation, not just allowing him to turn tail and run.
That guy who surrendered put up a hell of a good fight before hand. Bravo to that pilot knowing when he's beat too.
That Chinese flanker put up a great fight, novel strategy forcing an F22 defensive and then got close with some Fox 2s! Then was sensible enough to surrender when he knew he had no chance. Great piloting by that player.
He set GS up for disappointment with the next guy, though.
A very wise opponent.
A true knight of the sky honoring that surrender, and even more so when giving the last Flanker the opportunity to yield after taking critical damage!
Flanker: 'Tis but a flesh wound!

Man…the Raptor really is the king of the sky, isn’t it. I can’t imagine the feeling of dread upon learning there’s an enemy Raptor in the airspace.
You can't imagine the feeling because by the time anyone does find out that there's a Raptor in the airspace, it's already too late...
The F 22 makes it seem as though everyone else is on horseback and you're riding a dragon.
This is exactly what the f22 and f35 was designed for. As you can see they succeeded near perfection minus the one casualty.
If it's a real mission there won't be just 6 F-35s. There'll be E2D Hawkeye, F/A-18 Growlers and F-35s armed with AGM-88 HARM and no AGM-158 since it won't fit inside internal bays and compromise their stealth if it's outside.
@@night8285 If it was real, their S-300 sites would've been taken out with JASSM-ERs launched 900km out from B-2s before the strike package ever got sent. Then they could just mop up with Stormbreakers and SDBs on whatevers left.

Raptor: slots in on six Flanker: "Sir I Yield!"
The surrendering flanker was pretty cool!
"I WANT TO LIVE!" - Smartest man in China
That Raptor just continues to impress in every facet of combat...what a fighter.
It's the scariest thing with wings since the cretaceous period.
@@Orca19904Wait until we see what Lockheed has locked up in a hangar disguised as a mountain. NGAD has already made the Raptor obsolete. Terrifying.
@@SnuffySpaghettithat sounds straight out of a movie
@@Tooslw It sounds straight out of the Nevada desert if you ask me. The F-22 hardly even needed to be deployed. The mere idea of sharing its airspace terrifies enemy pilots. If technology like that will be retired by 2030, what do you think replaces it? Never doubt what the military industrial complex can do with $650B.
@@SnuffySpaghetti 100 percent agree if I was the enemy I heard over the radio there was an f22 in the air I’d eject especially if it ain’t on my radar probably to late
YOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! That felt like a fucking movie! That merge with the J-15 (correct me if I'm wrong) and then taking his six and that unexpected surrender, yooo that was soo good. Man the visuals of this sim is just insane, bro your content just keeps getting better! 💥💥💥💥
Good stuff, GS. Love the 5th generation strike package!
That pilot showed skill makes the encounter. He legitimately almost got you with the Fox2 at 7:36. If you had spent more time and munitions on the first plane, it might have made the difference. This has to be one of your best yet in the F-22.
I think that surrender was the coolest GS moment ever.
A flanker surrendering to an F-22 mid battle is the funniest thing. I didn't even know you could do that.
You can always TRY, lmao.
I love these “China vs US” air battles especially F-22 killing flankers! You’re a great pilot mate keep up the good work!
That surrendered J-15 probably lived the Sun Tzu quotes. "Know yourself know your enemy, you need not fear the results of a hundred battles".
That Flanker is a top dog for sure. His smoke trail tactics to flushing/finding you was very smart. If you know the odds are high of dying being crafty is gonna help, and its very respectable to yield when you know it's fruitless.
"There are three kinds of aces; those who seek strength, those who live for pride, and those that can read the tide of battle."
I've always wondered if it was possible to surrender in a dogfight but never knew how that would work without simply getting splashed anyway. That was unexpected but also something I'm really happy you were able to capture.
incredible sportsmanship letting that flanker go lmao the way he showed he was unarmed
That disarming of the flanker was the coolest thing ever man
Kudos to flanker no1. Good opening strategy and they knew they had one chance at the vertical which came pretty close! The disarm and surrender was actually quite poignant. High level content GS!
I love how nice he was in this video really trying to reason with these pilots 😂
oh shit, just saw the surrender scene. that was pretty damn cool actually.
That first fight was fantastic. Got behind him, and he knew it was over. F-22 is King
Would be really cool if you could try a dogfight while being in a f-35, we've seen you fight it but never as it~
I thought he did in an older video

If Su-57's pilot is smart enough, it would be kind like the same first encounter on this video, except that the Felon would be actually capable to put a few locked fox 3 on the Lighting, and of course, if they merge, it should be an "easy" win for the Felon...
@@arieldario3849 Yeah except most felons have been shown to have exposed screws and there is convincing speculation that they don't have radar resistant paint.
@@skull1161a ton of amraam will be headed to that enemy squadron before they know the plane is there.
That Flanker pilot who surrendered was probably executed by his commander when he got back to base.
I've watched so many dcs dogfights and ive never seen someone surrender. That was really cool to see. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice cinematics, you continue to improve exponentially with your camera work! 🥰
Well, thats a first! Good call. Chivalry, mad props.
Nooo, don't let him take the plane home! That's not surrendering that's retreating.
7:08 nice cinematic moment there with the flares at the merge.
You just gifted the enemy a perfectly functional aircraft and pilot who might kill you later.
Well, GS is Canadian, not an American killing machine ;-)
@@dreaminknight You think Canadians appreciate allowing an enemy to live so he can come back and kill their friends?

Excellent sportsmanship from everyone on that first fight. Very well-fought on both sides, and an honorable yield from the Flanker and equally honorable accept from GS. Love to see it! Harkens back to some of the old days at the start of WW1 before the killing got so savage that no quarter was ever offered nor accepted. Well-played!
That F-22 pressure man. Not everyone can hang lol.
Can you please make some Panavia Tornado content? Some intercept missions would be very interesting.
First time of seen a surrender like that.. Well done Sir, can totally understand why that was very satisfying for you. 👏 👏 👏

An absolutely brilliant episode with some interesting twists and first-rate cinematics.
Flankers always ask, “Where is F-22?” They never ask, “How is F-22?” 😔
Absolutely terrifying level of power that formation has. Got to love my country's engineering!! Day 13: Ukrainian F-35 vs Russian units like your Ukranian F-16 video, an unlikely "what if" they get the F-35 instead of the planned F-16. Idea from Binkov's Battlegrounds.
They are getting older F-16s as it is and bringing us to the threat of nuclear exchange; there is no way F-35 will be made available. Not. A. Chance.
that flanker reminded me of the German soldier they let go in 'saving private Ryan'. He went back, rearmed and killed more. You dont let go of the enemy who've shot 6 missiles at you!
Accepting surrenders is just one of those pesky things the good guys have to do, especially in an age when everything is recorded and Monday morning quarterbacked to hell and back by more committees than there are grains of sand on a beach.
I really enjoy the more “mission” focused videos!
Imagine: you're flying your country's standard fighter jet. You know the enemy is flying stealth birds locally. You know you are getting close, but nothing on RWR or radar. Suddenly, your RWR goes off, and a blip appears for but a second on radar before disappearing. Your RWR does not stop. You have no idea where the missile came from, nor how close it was fired. Suddenly, your aircraft explodes. You are dead. This is what it's like to fight a Raptor. You know it's there. Somewhere. But you have little hope of finding it, let alone destroying it. If you're close enough to see it, that is only because it allowed you to get that close.
This is the first time I have ever seen a plane surrender in a game. Awesome video GS.
That j-15 pilot is actually good he did his best asses his situation and came to the conclusion he can't beat an f-22 in a dogfight.
Fly, fighting fair It's the code of the air Brothers, heroes, foes
That flanker had you defensive with shots fired. I wouldn’t have let him go to fight another day (real life of course)
When the USAF turns off peaceful mode.
Well said.
Then we have a Canadian in the cockpit...
Man that Flanker was an exceptional pilot, thinking outside the box with some great ideas to try killing a Raptor, and in the end knowing he was beaten did the only smart thing.
Another challenging, but sweetly successful joint mission in the books! BEAUTIFUL!
Man the absolute respect from that 2nd J-15 & the F-22. I sure hope that stories like these exist and continue to happen in future conflicts. ❤
That’s Maverick in the flanker with rooster, hang man was pulling up on your 6 🤣
Imagine how terrified the pilot would be in a real life scenario, doing his best to get across that he gave up, only to just see the Raptor on his 3 just flying straight and watching like the UFO it is
When that J-15 surrendered and you flew beside him and let him go reminded me of ww1 chivalry. That brought me joy! GREAT VID!!!
You just let him go after all those hail marry missiles ? He had a good strategy though.
Imagine the 2nd J15 pilot getting his hand on fighter jets like F22, i mean he made the J15 vs F22 looks like an F22 vs F22, what a pro pilot🥶
Love this vid, hope to see more F22 + F35 coop in the future
The Spanish Inquisition and that disarm. Two things I never expected.
The F-22 is such a beast. Its almost a shame it will likely age out before its really needed.
The only flanker to ever have seen an F-22 and lived to tell the tale 🤣
I’d like to imagine the J-15 pilot is furiously trying to jettison their weapons but for some reason it’s not working.
That Flanker said he don't want noo smoke 😂
Bro, flanker literally pulled a "lol, jk" and flew off! He was like, "Yo chill! You don't want beef with me! I'm just a jokester! A silly little guy! Why would you want to Fox-2 a silly little guy like me?"
Let him go....He just tried to kill you! LOL
That guy never would have given you the same respect. He probably went back to re-arm and will come back out and try and shoot you down again. If it’s a target you take it out it’s an asset that you let your enemy continue to have. He could easily have ejected, and you take the asset away.
Gonna say that Flanker put a great dogfight.
People are rightfully awing over the flanker surrender because that was cool, but I'm just happy to see my favorite missile, the AGM-158 JASSM being used in a GS video
i never saw anyone surrendering, im so happy now, omg this was awesome, 9:06 😁😁
This vids are so good. You start to watch this kind of cool and laid back. Five mins inn you are already closer to the edge of your chair and your face is closer to the screen.
09:39 That's a dead man flying that Flanker home. "Dead Man Flying Here!"
That was SUPER COOL ! I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE. I THINK HE SAW god AND IT WAS AN F-22 !!

F22: "Would you intercept me? I'd intercept me."
Man, I really wish that you added the sample from MK "FINISH HIM!" when that J11 surrendered and then just ripped him in half with 20mm 😂
Still, one of the favorite missions I've seen from you. Definitely a fun rewatch.
i really enjoy this style of video. i could watch you do BFM for hours but these are really cool. the chaos of 15v15 is awesome as well, its been a while since you did one of those. lets be real here all of your videos are great.
