      @benz9063@benz906311 ай бұрын
    • @@benz9063Are you a troll or an idiot? You are aware that all of discoveries can be traced back through publicly available information to the dawn of their existence where through simple laboratory experiments new material properties are discovered, experiments like heating and cooling the material in different ways & to different temperatures, exposing the materials to different forms of radiation (both man-made and naturally occurring), restricting radiation from reaching the material, constructing it in a different mechanical fashion, bending it, twisting it, stretching it, squeezing (compressing) it under immense pressure, do a mix of all of these things at the same time. That is how we have got to where we are today. Low Observable Radar Coatings are now far more commonly understood and more advanced than they were some decades ago, so you can't compare modern anti-radar coatings to older stuff from the 70's & 80's. Once again I will reiterate that this technologies advancements, just like any technology, can be tracked through history and natural progression. Their is nothing "Alien" about it, it isn't from space creatures in Canadian Flying Saucers (Look those up by the way, Canadian Ground Effect Flying Saucers), it is just purely technical science.

  • I look forward to viewing this video when it is formally published. - The title and description remind me of the marketing literature for a sports car that I once owned more than one of, and also rebuilt one of the engines. It was a Mitsubishi Starion ESIR-Turbo (first generation), and the interior in the advertisements was referred to as "the cockpit", which was very appropriate considering all factors. The engine's cylinder head contained some "experimental" jet valves, designed to increase combustion swirl within the cylinders, by allowing some outside air to enter the chamber, but over time could become somewhat problematic. When I rebuilt the engine, I opted to install a JVE-26 "jet valve eliminator kit", which merely consisted of bolts to replace the jet valves, which some customers stated could begin to "stick" after long periods of use. The automobile was also marketed as the Chrysler Conquest TSi, with the "TSi" referring to turbo-sport-inter-cooled, as the intake featured (Approx.) 19 feet of hosing which was pressurized and cooled by an impeller which was driven by the exhaust. - Some of my most memorable moments were experienced while rebuilding and driving that incredible machine. - - - On a side note, I ceased flying around the year 2000, and I ceased driving around the year 2008, but I may resume in the future. I actually did pursue switching back from a full-time cyclist to a driver at several points, but the "system" in my state, and perhaps other states, made it quite inconvenient to re-acquire a driver's license after several years of expiration, and I was told by many folks that it would be necessary to "start all over" by obtaining a learner's permit, study and prepare for the written and driving tests, etc., etc., so I abandoned interest for the time being. I hope that some of you folks enjoyed reading this, especially fellow aviation and space enthusiasts, _John_

I put a new casting 8 valve head on it, retained the balance shafts and installed a 2.5" downpipe in place of the precat/restrictor with the ridiculous 90 degree bend right angle inlet. Retained a/c, too. Good luck to your driving aspirations.

My first one was a highly modified Conquest TSI that was Metallic Driftwood in color. Over time, I experimented with various exterior paint colors, as I could no longer obtain that paint during restoration. I ended up ultimately with a satin style finish paint, which was marketed as a specialty series of metallic silver, offered by Rustoleum, and I had to travel to several Home Depot stores in the New England area in order to obtain a suitable supply. The store was extremely helpful in that regard, and not only located what stores close to me had ample quantities, but they also had the stock held for me at 3 stores. I contemplated using their high-end red, white, and blue professional grade electricians tape, to create a single tri-colored stripe, reminiscent in some ways to some aircraft Note that I acquired that first automobile 2 days after the 9/11 terrorist attack, at a time when the display of the American Flag was looked at differently once again. Speaking of exhaust the car came with a $140 Borla exhaust pipe end. A larger turbo, and many racing-quality and high performance parts were present on the automobile. The previous owner was a somewhat close friend, and left the car exactly as he got it, and I did not care for the racing steering wheel, the non-stock pocket billiard themed 8-Ball stick shift knob, and many other items, and over time, lots of time, I was able to obtain many stick interior parts. At one point, I removed the leather seats, front and rear, and cleaned and conditioned the leather. The automatic seat belt system was worn out on the driver's side, and although I purchased a replacement notched drive-tape for it, I postponed the highly involved and complicated endeavor to disassemble all of the interior parts required to replace that drive-tape. I still have at least one box of parts, such as sensors, belts, etc., but I ended up giving away the near-priceless now parts such as the spare original aqua-color-coded fuel injectors, racing steering wheel, some spare headlight retracting systems, and other parts, when I sold my (primarily) black Starion ESI/R Turbo many years later.

  • Thank you for the video, this was very interesting to learn about the systems on the F35. I just retired from the commercial aviation sector where I taught Avionics systems on several aircraft. Weather Radar (WXR) on a commercial aircraft has an antenna under the Radome with scanning and tilt capabilities to map ahead of the aircraft. These systems also have a Ground Clutter Suppression capability, but nothing like the Radar system (AESA) on the F-35, where the system scans electronically with no moving parts. That is very cool. I can only imagine what the 6th generation aircraft systems are going to be like, unfortunately, we won't hear about them for 10 or 15 years.

  • The Raptor and the Lightning II working together are the perfect 1-2 punch. Both are Gen 5 stealth fighters with data link that can easily penetrate most surface defenses. Each has their own advantages; the Raptor is supermanuverable thanks to thrust vectoring and has supercruise capabilities, while the Lightning has multirole capabilities, can be carrier based, and even has VTOL in some cases. While the Raptors take and maintain total air superiority, the Lightnings can go to work attacking key positions on the ground. Having a thoroughbred air superiority fighter and a versatile multirole fighter is truly a game-winning team. It almost remind me of the teamwork between the Eagle and the Mudhen, except with stealth and data link thrown into the mix to make it even more unfair for the bad guys…

  • People who rag on the F-35 because it can't dogfight like an F-16 don't understand that it wasn't DESIGNED to do that. It was designed to PREVENT BFM engagements so that the enemy ends up dead before they ever see you, which it does extremely well. A sortie of F-35's with support from 4th gen aircraft and even a handful of F-22's is going to accomplish it's mission without friendly losses, which is exactly what the Lightning's purpose is. Combine this with newly upgraded 4th gen "missile trucks" like the F-15EX, and you have an incredibly deadly, efficient, and situationally aware fighting force. The F-35 on it's own is still a very capable fighter. With the right tactics and supporting aircraft, it's an indispensable part of the modern battlefield for western forces.

    • Part of the Key Performance Parameters was maneuverability while combat-configured, able to out-maneuver the F-16, F/A-18, and MiG-29 in their combat configurations. F-35 has superior nose authority for first-launch of Helmet-HOBS missiles, so it would enjoy early employment of AIM-9X before any merge as well. It avoids merges just as 4th Gen try to, but it has far more stand-off range and situational awareness to be able to do that while staying outside of WEZ. Combat-configured F-16s, Hornets, and MiG-29s are not as maneuverable as their slick airshow demo presentations. The audience would get bored watching those demos if you loaded them out like how they actually deploy.
