OK, wow. This review is simply amazing. Thank you. I know last year when I was researching webcams, it took a lot of digging around to find useful information. I did not have any problem toggling the HDR in the Logitech Brio. I used the Logitech camera settings app on my Mac and it does make a difference. My office is setup with a back-lit situation, and I can't really move the desk around. But, of course, the best answer there is to simply get a light. The Lumecube panel kicks out enough to compensate and give a great picture.
Right on, next time I am able to, I'll test using the Brio HDR in the same lighting environment as the Kiyo Pro was (back lit) to check out the results. Thanks for watching!

Damn. Fantastic review and the best I've seen comparing these webcams. Thanks for this! I finally know which webcam would work best for me instead of having to guess! The different lighting situations were particularly useful since I use Zoom in all sorts of variable lighting, and accurate color is SUPER important. Kiyo Pro for me!

I dislike the color of the wall behind you in both the logitech cameras - to me (imo) the best color was consistently with the kiyo pro... I didn't notice the orange coloring on any of my monitors watching your video but I did notice this reddish / maroonish tint in the logitech cameras that seemed very prominent... I did think the brio handled lighting better in a lot of cases... Gotta pull the trigger today - ughhh.... Leaning towards the kiyo pro at the moment... Tell me I'm wrong and why! Please! Lol
@@iam2loki4u Yep, the Logitech cameras definitely have extra red. Since colors are out of the way, I'd say it's down to whether you want 4K or are ok with 1080p. 4K, Brio. 1080p, Kiyo Pro.

dude this is such a well done review. I've got a job interview coming up next week for remote work and this is exactly what I needed to choose my webcam.
which one did you end up choosing?
@@ensi1645 bought the kiyo pro on amazon (used) for $54. 1 year later still going strong. using a dedicated mic so can't speak to audio quality. software is a bit annoying but the video quality is great and it works well in a variety of lighting conditions.
Very interesting review stretching them to the limits, and trying to extract the best they can do. But try making a better lighting on your scenario like a backlight, warm adjustments, left/right light with different intensity and you`ll see that they look pretty sharp and won't differ that much. ✌

While I may not agree with all of your judgements and conclusions (like the opinion on sharpness), you do provide an excellent comparison material for making one's own opinion - and that is a thing most welcome. You are also the first channel reviewing Kiyo Pro that I have seen that dared to go deeper into the flaws of the HDR mode - I had zero idea such motionblurry artifacting could take place, and I had watched... around 5+ reviews of that device prior to watching this video.
Right on. My main goal is to function as more of a resource and demonstrate the products rather than push one or the other (though I do I have strong opinions on them all). I'd like people to be able to make a decision even if they mute the entire video.

Good video thanks. I think you might find you have a lot of success if you do a video on which web cams are best for budget head tracking in games. Star Citizen in particular has a lot of users who might not afford the Tobii but want to use head or eye tracking. Just a thought :)
