  • Крайне не советую расточную головку эксцентрикового типа. Недостатков у неё уйма. Но самое главное это склонность к резкому и мгновенному заклиниванию с печальными последствиями!

  • The Oil Groove Maker could probably do double duty as a Barrel Rifling Maker. All you need is the right Attachments.

    • @@KULITEKNIK001 With the knack you have for making things, you probably could make all those attachments. Once you have whatever attachments for multipurpose and highly Utilitarian Tool. You should try getting it Copyrighted and Patented. Then get them made and sold. There's a Market for a Tool like this. I can see alot of People who like to work on Cars and Trucks in their Garage and whatnot loving the Versatility of a Tool like this.

  • Do you have what would be needed to drill all the way through a 28 Inch long by 3 Inch thick Steel Rod, or a 32 to 38 Inch long by 3 Inch thick Steel Rod? If not, what would be needed to do so?

    @OleDirtyMacSanchez@OleDirtyMacSanchezАй бұрын
    • Sorry my friend doesn't have that

      @KULITEKNIK001@KULITEKNIK001Ай бұрын
    • @@KULITEKNIK001 No, I was wondering if YOU had what was needed to drill through Steel Rods of that length? Or if YOU knew what was needed to drill through Steel Rods of that length. I got a bunch of Steel Rods for a bunch of Air Rifles I'm fixing and Performance Modding and I know a 12 Inch Bit or 20 Inch Bit isn't going to get the job done right. Having to drill through 1 half of the Steel Rod, flip it around and drill through the other half can lead to off centered, and I need it to be straight. Plus, I've been through 4 bits, and expense is adding up.

      @OleDirtyMacSanchez@OleDirtyMacSanchez29 күн бұрын
    • @@OleDirtyMacSanchez In the past I have tried modifying the drill bit with a long attachment, but it vibrates easily and the drilling shifts a little from the center point, but it is still a straight line.

    • @@KULITEKNIK001 Would it be good enough for a Precision High Velocity Air Rifle? That's what 1 of the 6 is going to be made into. Also looking around to get custom Air Valves made. 3 Feet long and 4 Inches in width. On paper an Air Valve that size has a huge potential power output. Which is why I designed it to be that large, and already has all the After Market power gain features built into the design. Plan is to use 2 to 4 of them together in unison to blast a Pellet or Slug downrange.

      @OleDirtyMacSanchez@OleDirtyMacSanchez29 күн бұрын
    • @@OleDirtyMacSanchezanneal the part you want to drill. Use a center drill to start bore. You will need to support work with a steady rest. Grind and sharpen the appropriate sized drill rod to drill bore, retracting frequently to clear chips. This is how rifle and cannon bores were drilled for centuries. Final bore size can be drilled or reamed before rifling.
