  • Did our boys just greenscreen themselves into their own garage office? I don't know about others, but I wouldn't mind seeing a messy, half-finished garage or, if that's busy, a normal internal office. I find the offset in lighting between the background and the subjects more of a negative than a bland background.

      @PlumbCarton5607@PlumbCarton560722 күн бұрын
    • And one of the other downsides is if you’re in a very hilly area without a lot of cell towers you may run into broken signals. Also, sometimes the static just starts to overwhelm the radio and you can’t even hear your music anymore. But FM transmitters are a good, faster, cheaper alternative to replacement head units. Just plug it in and choose a silent station with good signal, pair Bluetooth and you’re good to go. With the head unit stuff you can end up buying a really bad head unit, or overloading the amp and have to replace your speakers as well

  • Don't read the 1 stars or the 5 stars, trust the 2-3 star reviews. 1 Star reviews are usually people who got a broken product or just didn't know what the fuck they were doing and are just angry. 2 and 3 star reviews usually have relevant information about the product. No company is going to pay for fake 2 and 3 star reviews, and people who are angry and won't be giving an accurate review always give 1 stars. So you get the best information about what the product really is and how it really works from the 2 and 3 star reviews.

Has SD, USB, Bluetooth, FM, Aux, a remote, mic for talking on the phone, basically everything except CD and AM radio. Not terribly powerful but works good and has RCA outputs too. And for you racers, it's super light as well 😂.

    • LOL the "turbo whistle" the sound does sound much like a turbo from old racing video games haha Yeh know the sound well. When i was in high school i made a small device of sorts to put inline with the power for the radio some capacitors resisters etc to filter the power for all my friends. I was not even trained in any sort of electronics at that point never read books on building circuits. I understood how capacitors worked etc. and worked out how to build some simple circuits like that. Those ferrite ch0okes don't work most of the time having and active filter on your power does way better in fact you can completely remove any interference on the line from the alternator electric fans headlights etc Anything that is electro mechanical cause it as as well so blinker switches the ones you can hear click or when you press your break pedal your wipers etc.

  • Hey guys, my classic has the interior completely stripped as it was modified for hill climb racing. I now daily drive it and badly needed some tunes. So instead of cutting a hole in the dash for a head unit and trying to wire and retrofit speakers, I just put in a bluetooth soundbar. Find one that runs on DC, cut off the plug and use a voltage converter if it's not 12v. Mines 18v so just got a little step up converter off ebay. With an inline fuse, wire it up to your 12v system and you are good to go! Whole thing took me maybe 30 mins to install and cost £50. I got a 120w sound bar so it is plenty loud enough :) Cheap and effective way of getting tunes in the car with minimal effort.

  • To mount the radio in the glovebox, Nolan: make a panel out of 3/4" or 1/2" MDF to cover the opening and support the radio. 1. create template using a cereal box. keep trimming 'till it's a tight fit. 2. transfer onto MDF, then cut with jigsaw 3. cut a single-din size rectangle out of the center of MDF panel cut in step 2 4. cover with upholstery, carpet or paint (if painting, seal first with watered-down white glue, applied with chip brush) 5. stuff radio in hole of new panel you just made, then pop that bitch in glovebox (friction fit) 6. crank it up

I've had several in my car because when the sun is just right it glares below the visor and sunglasses are not enough to block it, I need that second layer of plastic screen. The ones I've used had plastic clips and seemed to be designed to attach to the top of the visor instead of the bottom, which is daft, anyway they just flip down on a hinge. Had 4 over the years, broken 2 of them, one arrived broken , still have one passenger side and I still use it when the sun is just wrong./
