Ok I’m sure this was a difficult video to execute…but I legit LOVED the clip show format. I still love the standard longer form videos, especially series stuff…but it was so refreshing to have “more than a short” but “less than a video” across a variety of topics.

It would probably be hard for them to advertise cars when the car they're talking about in the video isn't the one being advertised.
Not gonna lie i've been watching less and less. I liked the videos they were making.And I understand you have to progress and change but after the buyout. It feels like they are almost forced to make more videos advertising new cars and they are happy too because they get to try them out. Can't blame them but definitely just feels different. The competition find the cheapest is closest price still feel fun.

Our service manager used to love to park his truck in front of the bay doors. One night my foreman had had me put half a dozen heavy duty zipties around the drive shaft. He didn't get far before he came back and asked for side cutters.

I have a good idea. I haven't seen anyone testing it and I'm really curious what the result would be. Test the acceleration and track time of a car running few different wheel sizes. What I mean by that is different total wheel diameter (rim+tire). Test the stock one. Than swap to the same width but smaller diameter wheels and run the same test. You can also go up in wheel size and even smaller, to see what happens. The idea is that the smaller wheels will impact the general gear ratio of the whole drive train. This mod should be similar to mounting smaller sprocket on a motorcycle for higher torque and acceleration. If you or someone else already made a video like that please share, I had that idea on my mind for months but can't test that myself.
This embodies the attitude donut had before they got super corporate. I miss the days of Zach struggling in his driveway with the Mazda, or the current up to speed car taking up the entire office

for the first time in awhile it actually felt like everyone involved in the video had fun making his. Even feels like the editor was having a blast making this great video.
The raiders of the lost ark style "up to speed on James' dad" pile at the end got me. I always check the comments under every Donut video to make sure that the eternal blood war about whether its funny or not is still going. Its just one of those constants that makes me feel safe and at home.
I can’t lie the MG bumper to bumper was actually really enjoyable and I would happily watch a B2B compilation of cars that don’t have enough content to last a full video

Justin needs to do an SVX build video and a review, before and after. Maybe a history on the model or his in particular. The last real good one we got was from Regular Car Reviews nearly 10yrs ago. I've got one myself and would love to see more small companies support these cars. Promoting these small companies in a video would be an awesome way to give back to the community.

I have a theory on why they don’t do up to speed, B2B, and wheel house no longer, because they have been doing those for years and wanted to break up the monotony so they did different content and have more variation on the channel.

Do a high low season with 2 diesel trucks (early 2000 ford or GMC) and build them up to be the ultimate hauling machine. End of the season should be see who can tow the most, 1/4 mile drag time with the same load, and a endurance pull to like Vegas

I’ve been asking for so long for an up to speed on the Dodge Ramcharger and I’ve never felt so defeated ever since I realized that up to speed is likely not coming back. Maybe one day we’ll see the return of up to speed. This is still one of my favorite channels though!
