  • Buick should rethink its decision not to produce the Wildcat EV and to only produce SUVs instead. The Wildcat EV could save Buick and revitalize its brand. Another boring SUV isn’t going to do that. I’ve never even considered buying a Buick, but I would buy that Wildcat EV in a heartbeat if it was real.

    • Absolutely, @scotm2949! The Wildcat's design is undeniably stunning, and it's a shame that it won't be mass-produced. • Now a day all new vehicle designs so ugly, I don’t like at all, I am 35 years in automotive technician. I still like old car design look smooth and more reliable than new car . Some of them tail lights led so small look cheap.

    • Thanks for sharing your perspective, @dathoang9410. It's interesting to hear from someone with such extensive experience in the automotive field. Old car designs definitely have a timeless charm and reliability that many enthusiasts appreciate. The shift towards modern designs, especially with smaller LED tail lights, may not be to everyone's taste. What are some specific design elements or features from older cars that you find particularly appealing or reliable?

    @stevejones8660@stevejones86603 ай бұрын
    • Great question, @stevejones8660! While manufacturing locations can vary, Buick does have a presence in China. It's worth noting that many global companies, including automakers, operate in various countries. Buick, like other brands, emphasizes quality control and adheres to international standards. If you have any specific concerns or questions about a particular model's production, feel free to ask!

    • Got it, @mikesecor6074! It sounds like you have strong feelings about electric vehicles. I'm curious to know more about your perspective. What aspects of electric vehicles do you find challenging, and is there anything specific you'd like to see improved?

  • Buick is making a huge mistake if they stop producing gas cars and only offer electric garbage. People don’t buy electric because they don’t want them because they are not trustworthy like gasoline powered cars. The reason the manufacturers design the electric cars to look very attractive is because they know people aren’t interested so they are trying to tempt possible buyers by the very attractive design. Why don’t they design the gas cars to be very attractive? Its obvious they have designers that are capable. Very disappointing!

    • Your concerns about the shift to electric cars are valid, @cliffmorgan3071. It's true; the transition to EVs poses challenges, and people may have reservations about their reliability. Buick, like many other automakers, is adapting to the changing landscape and environmental concerns. While electric cars have their benefits, gas cars are still an essential part of the market. The push for attractive EV designs might indeed be a strategy to attract interest. Buick, like other manufacturers, aims to offer a diverse range of appealing cars. Designers often focus on making EVs attractive to help change perceptions. The good news is, Buick and other companies are still producing gas-powered cars alongside their EV offerings. This allows consumers to choose what best fits their needs. Your feedback is valuable, and it's an interesting conversation about the future of automotive design. What aspects of gas cars do you find most appealing, and what improvements would you like to see?

    • The attractive design is because EV can be designed sleeker because no height in the front is needed for an engine and the need for as much airflow.

      @mrdiamonde@mrdiamonde3 ай бұрын
    • Great point, @mrdiamonde! You're absolutely right. The sleek design of EVs is indeed influenced by the absence of a traditional engine, allowing for more flexibility in shaping the vehicle. This not only enhances aesthetics but also contributes to improved aerodynamics. It's fascinating how the shift to electric power opens up new possibilities in design. What other aspects of electric cars do you find interesting or think could be improved upon?@@mrdiamonde

    • Respecting the classics! Your 1996 Buick Roadmaster sounds like a gem with that powerful 5.7L engine and low mileage. It's a testament to timeless design and reliability. While the new Buicks have a modern flair, there's no beating the charm of a classic. Cheers to the legacy on wheels! 🚗✨

  • Hate electric vehicles

    @dianeleonard6702@dianeleonard670219 күн бұрын
    • Thanks for sharing your thoughts, @dianeleonard6702. It's understandable that electric vehicles might not appeal to everyone. They represent a significant shift in automotive technology and come with their own set of considerations. However, it's worth noting that electric vehicles offer several advantages, including lower emissions, reduced dependence on fossil fuels, and often lower operating costs over time. While they might not be the right fit for everyone at the moment, advancements in technology and infrastructure are making electric vehicles increasingly viable options for more drivers. It's always good to keep an open mind and explore all the options available. Thanks again for sharing your perspective!

  • Good looking but it’s still a GM crap-mobile made poorly and will not last. Like Nissans and Kia, they look good but won’t last. I am driving the last great decently made Buick a GM ever created. 2011 Buick Lucerne. (Not the 4.6 Northstar leaking oil motor) Mine is a low mileage 65K but I have seen 250,000 mile cars.
