We have so many questions: what are THE BEST hairstyling tools for volume? What is the best hairstyling tool for frizzy hair? What are the best hair tools for fine hair? The answer is always the same: A Blowout Brush! When we are talking about finehair, we are talking about the kind of hair that needs to be infused with volume from the wet stage if you want any hopes of it looking full. Hairstyles that require a blow out can be challenging for girls with short, medium and long haircuts and for women with curly, frizzy or fine hair. Holding a blowdryer in one hand and a round brush in the other when styling is not for the faint of heart. Today I am going to do a blowout tutorial and Tymo Volumizer review to show you tricks on exactly how to achieve a great salon quality blowdry at home.

  • Because of you I just got a blow dryer brush and I love it! One thing I think you should prepare your audience for when recommending this is how much hand strength it requires. I know you have a considerable following of more mature women (I'm 46 myself), so I think they need to be prepared that they might need to build up hand strength over time. You probably don't notice it because you've done it for so long, but my hand is really tired and achy by the time I get to the last few sections of my hair. I think this is part of the reason why women may not get their hair completely blown out with this and end up with inferior results. Loving your channel. I love the mature skin makeovers and budget-friendly product recommendations!

  • I recently got one of these brushes. I have damaged my curl pattern with ceramic in the past so I was afraid to try them, but I was blown away. With just a boar bristle brush and a blow drier my hair will start to revert very fast on the ends, but with this brush that doesn't happen and they style stays longer. Its so much faster too 🙂

  • This tool was a game changer for me. I’m an older lady and have a great deal of trouble holding both a round brush and a blow dryer. I never got a good blowout result. I resorted to just blowing out til damp and then finishing with Velcro roller but that took a while to dry. Otherwise I’d completely dry and then use hot rollers but often got more curl than I wanted. I use the blower brush now always as a first (sometimes only step) and sometimes follow up with other tools like a curling iron, but it really looks great with just the blower brush. Thanks for the video. I picked up some tips, like using the clips and the cooling setting.

  • You are so lovely and a fun person to watch! I really appreciate your videos and tips. I am older and have curly, fine hair that has thinned a lot since reaching menopause. I've been using blow-dryer brushes for most of my adult life because I never could get the hang of doing the two-handed brush and dryer system. I'd love to have a Dyson Airwrap, but can't justify the $600 price tag! Right now I am using the T3, which I found for under $200 and has several heat and fan settings like this one. I never thought about transplants, but maybe I will consider that someday.

I have very curly hair which I like to smooth-not straighten and still have body. VERY nice. I tried the Revlon last year and hated it. Years ago the InStyler had a spinning brush which was awesome....you had to use a separate hair dryer but it was ok since you didn't have to turn the brush it was really fast. The styles came out great...I get similar results with the Tymo. So glad I found you

I no longer use my iron. I also bought the velcro rollers (which i loved) but started to see some breakage of my hair primarily where my part is so I stopped using them. I like the idea of using the clips. Thanks!

  • Ooooh! I am definitely going to snag this! For several years I've used a similar Conair blow-brush because it has multiple heat/speed settings and a cool setting, and it's very gentle heat, but it does not have the titanium barrel. I recently tried a T3 model recommended by another influencer, but didn't really care for it - the brush heads are plastic, the handle is very wide so made it hard to grip, and the buttons are right where you want to put your hands (so I was constantly changing heat/speed on accident). Thanks so much for the excellent tips and recommendations - you've changed my fine hair game for the better :)

    @littleninja71@littleninja71 Жыл бұрын
    • I didn't even know that T3 had a blowout brush! I am mind blown! I have a T3 curling iron that is good but the clip is small and its weirdly designed so often times the hair gets caught on the wrong part of the tool. It's so annoying! Sounds like you are having a similar design issue with the blowout brush. I hope that you love it as much as I do.

  • I am so glad you had such amazing results with your transplants, we tend to think of it as a man thing, but it’s not clearly. You have very thick looking hair and I know that’s so important to you. For Velcro rollers , just use a square of TP or a perm tissue on the end and it stops most of the tangle issues.

  • I'm going to give this a try. I'm 42 and have been flat ironing my hair for years. I would go days leaving it curly buts it's a hot mess. I'm now having to give myself a break more because I've noticed more fall out. I'm trying some hair regrowth products & dietary changes. But also looking for alternatives to straightening my hair on occasion. Thanks!

    • Try this Corrina! It sounds like you have the same type of hair as me and discovering this hot tool is literally life changing and makes your hair look WAY BETTER then when you flat iron it. I hope that the dietary changed an regrowth products help too. That has also helped me tremendously.

  • Circling back: I was looking for a newer dryer. Decided to take GABI up on the gracious offer. I live in Ohio. With discount and shipping it was $30 bucks - YES $30!!!!! I have been using it regularly. I like it better than my older one. I have fine thick natural born blonde hair and at times look like I just stuck my finger in a light socket. This hair dryer certainly helps tame that. I’m hoping GABI will do a video on her after shower hair products that help with frizz, shine, etc….. I bet if she gets more requests/comments she will extend the Tymo discount (which is totally worth it) and find time to do a frizz/shine video. Good luck glamorous gals and glamorous GABI in the pursuit of GREAT HAIR!

  • I have a different hair type. Thick medium-coarse, wavy hair with lots of volume but with frizz. So my #1 hair tool is my Instyler (Wet to Dry Version). It straightens, reduces frizz, maintains volume and doesn't tire your arm out because the iron part rotates so your arm doesn't have to. It straightens without flattening your hair because the iron is round, so it doesn't FLATTEN the strand like a flat iron. It's like a round brush and flattening iron in one, but the rotation is doing the work.

  • Thanks for the review! Question: Why is the barrel a rounded rectangle, rather than just round? These brushes look interesting, but I wonder about leaving corner bends in my hair, especially with the cool shot technique. I get "corners" with both round & paddle brushes unless I'm super careful, & this looks like it's designed to cause them!

    @quitelight9693@quitelight9693 Жыл бұрын
    • The website says that the shape is that way to create volume. I have the same concerns as you though about it leaving bends in my hair, and most of all concerns about it becoming so tangled up in my hair that I would have to cut it out.

  • Gabi- ive got your same hair type (pretty close) & i always sleep on a 100% silk (not satin) pillow case with my hair piled up above my head on the pillow. Many girls put hair up with a scrunchy but i cant stand anything in my hair when i sleep. Just putting it above your head so you're not laying on it makes all the difference. Straight or curly my style lasts until im ready to wash (4-5 days)

  • I had a tiny and light blow dryer and could dry my thin fine hair in under five minutes. I got the dryer used in this video and I found that for me, the hair dryer was heavy, big and bulky. It took me longer to dry because of sectioning the drying process. As a result, my arms got tired from holding the heavy dryer above my head.

  • I have fine stick straight hair and was in love with the revlon untill it destroyed my hair beyond repair that accompanied by color and highlights it was a frizzy, dry broken mess I switched to the dyson airwrap and had the same results im honestly not a fan. I just chopped several inches off my hair its up to my chin and omg so much healthier now and im so tempted to try a blow dry brush again because the results were amazing like no other but im so scared 😫 lol I am seriously considering trying this one. Thank you.
