LADIES!! Before you watch this review, remember everyone looks for different things in everything so my opinion may not be YOUR opinion and that's ok;-) I have been using my Revlon One Step for 2.5 years and I I've stated in this review, it changed my hair routine instantly. In this short video, I look at the Remington Hydraluxe Hot Air Styler which is based on the Original Revlon One Step to see how different or similar they are...enjoy!

  • I’m a blow dryer girl and recently I’ve been thinking about getting a drying brush because it’s supposed to be easier and faster. I’m specifically lost between these two, you can’t imagine how helpful your video was. Thank you SO MUCH ❤

    • @@alltheladies Definitely the revlon. I was skeptical about Remington’s being detachable anyways, I like me a solid piece. Also, you can never go wrong with volume, so that’s a plus for revlon.

  • Hello, thank you for this informative review! It was very helpful and I can tell that you are very honest in your words, thank you for that too! There is a newer version of this Revlon brush, it is with a bit smaller brush, also it have added "medium" speed, and the brush is detachable from the body because there are more tools for the new model. I am curious to know your opinion of it! So, if they send it to you or if you buy it by yourself, I hope you will make a comparison between this model and the new one from Revlon 🤗 I wish you a great new 2024 year, Emily! 💜

  • I have to add two points to this review: first I detach the head and I dry the roots with the air coming out of the body. Then I attach the brush and finish the work. PLUS it's much easier to clean the brush when it's detachable.

  • Hi, thanks for that review. I bought the Revlon Onestep 12 months ago and used it every other day to dry and style my hair. I bought the short to mid length version and loved it. I’d agree the weight takes a little getting used to. This week I’ve found the handle was getting much hotter than usual and it had lost a bit of power. I am so reliant on the Onestep I was straight onto to Amazon and ordered another one. Even though only 12 months usage is bit disappointing I wouldn’t do without it and I’m reluctant to back to a regular hairdryer.

    • Mmm 12 months isn’t acceptable! Mine hasnt faultered as yet and it’s 2.5 years old…might be worth contacting Revlon and seeing if it’s within the 12 month warranty 🙏🏼🥹

  • I had the Remington and was getting so hot and would stop . I had to ask Amazon to change it for me 3 TIMES 😳until I decided to ask for a refund. Now I have the Revlon and is fab…🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

    • What?? Thats scary! That’s most likely to do with faulty electrical outlets or worn out sockets 🥹 Would be worth getting your sockets checked I would say🙏🏼 good luck 💞

  • I saw some reviews that the Revlon volumizer would damage hair very badly as it is very hot. Some people had their hair ruined. Is this right ? What do you think ?

    • Honestly….its done the complete opposite! I use it EVERY time I dry and style my hair and it’s the best it’s ever been so I’m not sure what these negative reviews are😭

    • No not at all…so many people ask me this but I don’t see how it can be it’s like a big brush with warm air 😍…I dont use the hottest setting maybe that’s the difference! I wouldn’t be without it☺️

    • Hey Lorraine...its a hairdryer and styler in one so it does dry quickly. I always towel dry the hair first to get rid of the drips!! Id highly recommend xxx
