    • Teen driver - ramms into shopping carts at Walmart, rubbing up against other parked cars as well as the curb when they forget to adjust their seat or mirrors, parked under a birds nest right after it ate and expected nothing to happen, lead footed the pedal and backed the quarter panel into a tree ("it'll buff right out".) Forgot to put the parking brake on when they got out, turned left on red while stopped next to a dump truck, parked next to a beat up old family car full of mushy under developed brained children, attempting to race on a tight road and forgets about the sloppy steering, spills gasoline on rear of car when they take the nozzle out, left fuel filler cap dangling out over the side of the car, once the floor was full of moldy greasy French fries, started smushing them into the outside of the car instead, parked on the corner of a salted street right after a snow storm, attempted to fit an excessively large cargo in the trunk and still ramms it up against the vehicle even though it wouldn't fit, gets out of car in a tight space and scratches vehicle with purse of denim jeans.

  • The 2 bucket method really works. The amount of dirt in the bottom of the rinse bucket is a LOT more than the wash bucket. I was made to feel stupid the other day when commenting on a diydetail video just because they like to promote their own method and say that the 2 bucket method is dead. It was quite disappointing really because I've always been a fan of Yvan lacroix and spoke highly of him. He also said it was odd to use a separate towel for your wheels, I mean why not if I have a old towel spare. Unless you are doing a wheels-off clean there is not way you're getting 100% of the dirt off and I'd rather not contaminate my main towels. Anyway, keep up the good work and stay true. Thanks for the quality video

I’m very young and just starting in the detailing business but so far I’ve only been able to offer interior detailing because I felt as if I needed to understand paint better, and just didn’t feel comfortable with the other videos I’ve watched. This video has been the best overall by far and it gave me the idea to go to the junkyard and getting some panels to practice on (I don’t know how I didn’t think of this sooner) so I can get some actual experience before trying and possibly ruining my cars paint or worse a customers.

    • Keep in mind polishing removes layers of the clearcoat in order to make it smooth again. Doing it every so often eventually strips the clearcoat and youd have to go get your car clear coated again. To prevent doing such a harsh cutting compound, you should go in every year or so and keep the paint looking good with only a 1 step polish. The 1 step polish doesnt remove much. So either you let your car look like shit and then pay an arm and leg to get it detailed, but you'll lose a lot of clearcoat, or you can maintain your vehicle and get it polished and buffed yearly to minimize clearcoat loss

      @Viktor9502@Viktor95023 жыл бұрын

At first, I thought this was going to be another product commercial disguised as a how-to video, made to sell as much product as possible. You did use a lot of product, but you clearly explained the purpose of each one, and more importantly, showed the results until you got the right combination. Then you explain why it was the combination and backed it up with clear results. - I don't mind spending money on product as long as I know exactly why I'm buying it and how to use it. Thanks!

The ***quality*** of information you impart, and the way it's presented, is absolutely brilliant. You break each stage down, explaining WHY each process is important, and then present that information superbly. The end result, of course, speaks for itself...but it's the knowing why is the most important.

  • Great experiment! To preserve the paint and shine even further, I saw videos where one can apply clear protective film then covered with the ceramic coating as an additional measure. It's advised not to ceramic coating first followed by using protective film last which does not stick well after the ceramic curing 24 hours later.

  • Paint correction is something I always wanted to learn and do. Maybe not for money but for fun as this is so satisfying. The best thing about it is that You see effects of Your time, effort, work and experience in the best possible way. Although I think that this is also a quite stressful process as You wouldn't want to damage the paint beyond repair.
