It's pretty shocking that MVP was never in the UFC sooner honestly! I was a real casual MMA fan for years, but still knew of him before I knew of McGregor and other big British and Irish names - v excited to see if MVP can make waves in the big league tho
There's not only the ufc in the fight gsme to make money! Remember Francis got 500 grand to defend the title and Ryan Bader gotb1.5 million to defend his title one time thats 3 times more for a bellator champion to defend there titles Dana rips people off and if they don't understand that there slack
I think i remember him saying a few years back he wasn't interested in moving over from Bellator as he was happy there. Can't wait to see how he fares in the UFC and a tough first fight for sure.
😮😮😅
Was getting paid a lot by Bellator to smash cans. Recently they were giving him their top guys so he might as well hop over to UFC
@@REVOisMYname what?? Bellator didn't want him anymore he's lost to many times he's not a champ he's not a strong contender for the title haha so they let him go ready whst bellatoe put out there when mvp got axed lol
He got some of the some of best highlight knockouts in all of combat sports ,long overdue a ufc spot and well deserved 👏
Against Cans
I've know of MVP for a couple of years now but only through the limited BBC coverage, this is the first time I've seen him interviewed and I like him even more, he's very respectful and likable and is a great roll model. I hope he does well in UFC
hope leon can hold on to the belt for this english vs english champ would be insane
NOT GOING TO HAPPEN MATE THIS GUY IS BEING OVERHYPED HE IS ALREADY 36 YEARS OLD
@@West.Londonerhe will lose dude will not have a title fight
African vs African, May they do our continent proud!!!
@@IFAMILYIHpereira is also 36 and MVP still has his speed and hasn't taken much damage in his MMA career, but he probably shouldn't have bare knuckle boxed Mike Perry lol
@@IFAMILYIHNeed to turn cap lock off…
I cannot wait to watch this unfold. Probably the most uniquely talented fighter I've seen to be fair. Good luck mate 🙏🏻🏴👍🏻
gets folded by the next best ufc fighter
Not hard in uk
@@PresidentDanaWhitehe's the ultimate can crusher.. he was winning the lima fight but made one mistake and his skinny little legs couldn't stop the sweep

@@Skipjjdumb comment much?
He seems like a good guy. I hope he does well in the UFC. 💪
Too old...age and lack of wrestling/grappling is stacked against him ( pertaining to winning Gold) , but for some really fun fights....yea I hope he gets matched up well for some great fights for the fans.
@@seattleryan5721if MVP secures a dub from either Burns, Shavkat or Machado he gets an interim belt
@@808nzaro But yes, he does have a path....I am interested to see if he can stay on it and if it aligns for him.
Feed him to Shavkat! 😂
ferguson destroy him
If he wins a couple of fights he is definitely getting that title fight
🤣 why? was never been champ anywhere. Only can crashing
I’m not sure about definitely but after Shavkat there aren’t any standouts. His fighting style automatically makes him a draw and the ufc will probably try push him. Belal should get the next title fight but it seems Leon and Dana are trying to avoid that.
@@mjunaid309Leon will show belal what time it is Edward’s runs from no one

Know this man for most of my life, I worked with his father & family as well. I know he can win the title here

Talent is everywhere, but the UFC still does the storytelling best. Can't wait to see what MVP brings to the table. He's been one of the most exciting individuals for tiiiime. I hope they make the most of this opportunity. Let's go! ✨️
yeah exactly. guy is WAY past his prime
Guy could barely get the belt at bellator in his prime never mind in the ufc. He gets smoked by Leon.
a bit on the older side tho..
@@JimmothyGibbons @user-fx5cd4px3k yeaaaaa, but styles make fights. Give him exciting matchps. Sounds like good craic!
@user-fx5cd4px3k maybe... 36? It's now or never? He has some years on wonder boy. Side note - would be nice to matchup Wonder Boy with some strikers, let him go out with a bang.
Michael “Venom” Page is a true artist and the ring is his canvas. Much respect from Micronesia 🇫🇲
MVP about to take the Alex Pereira route.
🤷🏿♂️
Im here for it. Id love to see him v leon if he gets the fast track

I really hope he does well in UFC! Deserves to be there
Kevin is going to show this man Levels
He’s a great personality but everytime I’ve seen him fight against decent comp in bellator he struggled really hard so I’d be super surprised if he even cracks top 10 especially in welterweight.
1st fight he will be in top 10 after he kos holland
@@user-hm1jw7dd4f holland fought so many beasts and is yet to get dropped. Not sure if can crusher mvp will even make him wince.
@@user-hm1jw7dd4fwell considering Holland didn’t get KOd from Wonderboy abusing him for 4 rounds along with the fact he broke his hand, I think he’ll be fine
Ye he's got great technique and timing but most of his opponents haven't been on his level so looked better than he actually is also not got the grit to go with the skill .I will be surprised if he cements himself in the top 10 especially anyone with decent grappling
@@ianscott1317yeah fact I wouldn't be surprised if mvp is one and done here in the ufc.

I'm just so glad he getting to the UFC and he should of been there along time ago I've been a big fan of his for a very long time and he's going to light his division up for sure he's just so creative

From being a Can crusher to walking around in place filled with landmines. Let's go MVP
Mvp is humble,very humble guy
Great interview Adam, can’t wait forMVP UFC debut!
MVP is a super exciting addition to the UFC roster 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Excited to see MVP finally in the UFC, it has been a long time coming. I can't help but feel he should have done it like 5 years ago though. Interested to see if he has the same success in the UFC, looking at his record he has fought trash cans apart from Daley and Lima.
Been a LONG time coming
I've been waiting for this moment for years.
Really good. Super excited about this new signing they made. Always been a fan tbh. Excellent
I've been a die hard ufc fan for probably 6+ years at this point. Can someone explain why I heard of Michael Venom Page before I was even an mma fan? I was huge into wwf and wwe growing up. This dudes like iconic in my mind and I don't even know why.
Because he threw a pokeball at his opponent.
@sayville_silver 😂 that's not ringing any bells but that's hilarious
Search chilked adonis's video called Michael venom page most disrespectful mma fighter lol.
Because he is arguably one of the most entertaining fighters to ever do MMA. Simple.
@vvsvellaire1455 probably the most reasonable explanation. I've always respected mma and watched, but wasn't an actual fan. I probably watched something years ago regarding him. Maybe Rogan? Idk
MVP is the man, exciting fights to come
I've been waiting for this for years 🎉
Great interview
Man I can't wait to see some of these fights 💪👊💯
Thanks for the video, TNT SPORTS
Kevin holland is a perfect measurement fight to see where he can go!! Cant wait for 299
MVP is a beast. Can’t wait to see him in the ufc
He will make for some interesting fights. However, the only way he gets to the title is if they fast track him and avoid all the grapplers.

😊🎉 So happy MVP is now UFC fighter and I get to see him represent UK. I ❤ our current Champs Leon and Tom it’s nice to add to the home team. X
Tom is number 1 contender not champ.. put some respect on JJ name
MVP vs Wonderboy would be sick lol
I love MVP, he is a very exciting and confident fighter but seems like a fairly humble person. Looking forward to seeing him fight again!

very well spoken, carries himself well
Always liked his style and seems like he’s matured 👍 good luck to him he can do well
Michael versus Leon would be a crazy fight !
MVP in the UFC, hopefully a future Champ 🏆
so pumped for mvp in the ufc
This is why UFC is the place to be. I’ve known about MVP for years but not really known much on a deeper level. Instantly MVP brand goes up 🔝

MVP vs wonderboy is what I’m hoping for in the future that fight is a must two clas strikers
I’m so excited for his UFC debut, long overdue
Going to come to the UFC as Cannon Fodder
THIS GUY IS BEING OVERHYPED HE IS ALREADY 36 YEARS OLD
Matching MVP up with Holland is a banger! So excited to see how that plays out. I have a hard time seeing Holland lose. Both guys wanna stand and strike so im sure it will be a great fight to watch
Holland gotta stay on the gas for the win with pressure because MVP will do him worse than Wonderboy if he sits back like he did
I feel the fight will be a banger though wish it was 5 rounds
Ye it's an intriguing match up .very similar styles I favour Holland but if mvp gets the win then he could be a problem for any of the strikers but I don't see him challenging at the top with his lack of grappling and ground game .he likes to control the distance and fight at a certain pace and there are fighters that just won't allow that but good luck to him ,he's exciting to watch for sure
Hope they add him to ufc 5
Been waiting for this for years
Good interviewer
Let's goooooo!!!
I kind of wish he would have been given some easy early fights like when paddy joined , so we could see him really show of his skills , but Kevin holland is a really exciting stand up fight 🔥🔥
Kevin Holland will submit him.
hes had those in bellator though actually those were most of his fights in bellator
He wanted this fight
@@someguy7474 Yeah I know and yet so many people haven't seen them if he knocked out some one in the UFC with one of those crazy KO's he got in early Bellator , he would become a star real quick
Why? So that way everyone can say he's a can crusher?....nah, he's had enough warm ups with bellator. Time to see where he's at
MVP!!! I thought it was lies Yess
Eventually!! ITS TIME!! 👊🔥👊
This is gonna be very interesting to see.
I feel like MVP should go for the MW title just so the British have 3 belts. But it's about time he go here

Lima showed the blueprint. The wrestlers are going to prove if he belongs. I don't see him getting past Bo Nickal, Khamzat or Shavkat though
khamzat will never make 170 ever again.
Nickal is 185 too
I always wanted to see this guy fight izzy

Huge respect to MVP but I hope he’s prepared for the huge step up in competition

I cant wait to see this man fight in the ufc!!! About time but i worry about the miles and age being a factor! But anyways im here for his journey and hope he can pull off a A.Silva run...😂
That would be a great matchup if it ever happens.
Started following the sport in general around the time he dented Male Cyborgs skull. Looking forward to his UFC run 👍🙏
I think this is going to be a hype up followed by MVP is past his best and just cashing in whilst possible. Mike Perry was the beginning of the end of his career in my humble opinion and this MVP does not come close to the standard of Rocky Edwards. Happy to be proved wrong, its just to low a probability.
MVP MVP MVP!!!! 🏴 chants coming to the UFC very soon…
He’ll get owned in the UFC, especially since he’s not in his prime.
I hope the UFC just gives him striking fights after the Holland one until he has to fight a wrestler eventually. More chances for him to do crazy knockouts and gain more fans in the mean time. The UFC sometimes tries to act like they don't try to control a pathway, but they do it all the time, so I know they can do it for MVP.
He’s too chinny and won’t get past the elite grapplers. Careful matchmaking and he could do it…. But the ufc truly is the lions den, being thrown to the wolves so to speak. He will learn this, a lot of these killers at 170 will want his scalp
If they give him Holland and Thompson and he won both, they might just give him a title shot off it. Or at least he'd be one top 5 win away.
@@luckyspurs I do think he will beat Holland… although it’s not a sure bet at all and wouldn’t suprise me if Holland won. I honestly think there’s about 7 or 8 welterweights I’d pick to beat MVP. If usman and khamzat move back down they both absolutely crucify him
@@alexb292 mvp can absolutely starch usman, especially if he comes in prepared for the wrestling.
