He says what he’s thinking, which is the same as what many of us are thinking. The main difference is he actually says it while we all mostly keep these things to ourselves.   • The reason the fans love sean is because on ESPN when asked about his first title defence, Sean told a story about a dad with two daughters in San Diego and referred to him as the better man. And Sean's honesty towards how impressed he was that someone who was his fan could be doing well not in spite of him, but through him in some way.

  • This got me choked up man. Coming up as a kid into my teens my pops was a crackhead and my mom was gone I had no one. Dropped out of school and got a job cause I was tired of being hungry.   • The way he always says “ you guys- “ is so overlooked. It makes it seem like he’s always talking to us fans and supporters, which shows how much he values us. As he said in the interview, it’s because of us people that allowed him to become this great and have a life much better than one he would have had if he had not gone down this path.   • The huge difference is that Sean props up the broader society and not himself, which is the exact opposite of that most famous people, who are brands in and of themselves, do. Not that they’re not thankful to the rest of society and not that they don’t share the same views, but Sean is explicit about it and think that is what makes him real and others gravitate towards that

  • People forget this guy was abused majority of his life. Got in a car accident where he suffered brain damage & was told basically he could never do the only thing he loved again. He might say some things people hate but the guy is honest and himself. Never letting anyone tell him otherwise and saying what he thinks is true and right. He's got my respect everyday.I hope this dude does great things man

    • I think he can beat most of the division. Ddp and cannonier are probably the hardest tests at this point and you could argue that Sean beat cannonier. If he beats Ddp, I think he’ll get probably 3 or 4 defenses in after that.

  • I'm 3rd generation Iron worker. We can't even keep track of all the buildings we have built. I've torn down buildings my grandfather built. If your child goes to school in my area there is a 90% chance my family built that school. We also go to the food bank and rarely have hot water or electricity. Have licenses but can't afford a car or insurance. Have to rent due to a dump of a house being valued at $400,000. Sean actually understands this and so much respect to the guy for not putting himself on a podium.
