    • There's also a strong case against TO. Character and on/off field behavior 100% plays a role and should. If tomorrow Aaron Rodgers goes out and shoots up a black church and leaves behind a manifesto that rivals Mein Kampf, would you still support Rodgers going HoF or oppose it? I think 99% of people would oppose it despite his numbers being clear HoF worthy. That means there is a spectrum to judge by, obviously TO's behavior was not shooting up black churches bad so you have to judge what you view as acceptable or not to be HoF. I say no, the asterisk beside TO's name is just to detracting.

    • You must be too young to remember Jerry Rice from his 2nd year to his 10th. He dominated the league when you could still light up receivers going across the middle. Rice was better some called him “Jesus in Cleats” for a reason. Not taking anything away from Moss or TO but Rice was The Master of the position. And I don’t think TO would dispute that even though I am not sure they like each other. Just compare Rice’s numbers to any WR that didn’t play the bulk of their career after 2000. Maybe if you take away 75 games from Rice’s career totals Moss & Owens come close. But their shortened careers tell you how much their games were dependent on freakish athleticism (especially Moss). TO was more versatile than Moss (ran all the routes at a high level, a beast blocking, and run over you too with the ball in his hands). So that versatility and with slightly better stats he definitively was better. 🤷🏽‍♂️. Moss might have been one of your favorites but facts don’t line up to support your opinion that no 1st ballot was better. Larry Fitz who will be first ballot is better also. Let’s just throw out his past 3 seasons. So that has him calling it quits after 2017 (109 receptions & 1,100 yards that year btw 👀). He still finishes with more yards and receptions than Moss. 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Some of those catches look much easier than they really are and most viewers wouldn't realize that most other WRs wouldn't be able to make that play. • Being a Packer fan from Milwaukee, Randy Moss was an annual nightmare we had to face 2-3 times a year. Ron Wolf changes his whole philosophy on drafting cornerbacks. He knew he needed bigger corners to keep up with Moss- just like in 99’ when he drafted 3 CB in first three picks- Antuan Edwards, Vinson, and Mike McKenzie...And it didn’t even matter. Moss still dominated.

    • T.O., Gronk, & Tom Brady would have defenses throughout the league very sore the next day. T.O. was better than Moss as a route runner, RAC ability, blocking, and enforcing his will on the defense.

  • Chris Carter was spot on when he enthusiastically pitched Randy Moss to the Vikings as the most talented athlete he'd ever seen. Randy was a Usain Bolt type wearing cleats - 6'5, 4.2 speed, could turn on a dime, jump right of the gym and exceptional hand eye coordination with those big soft hands. Just imagine if Moss hand Jerry Rice's work ethics.

    @rolandrothchild8889@rolandrothchild88894 жыл бұрын
