    • I could get him making his point in the sense of defending your resume to say that you do have some knowledge to have an opinion but not as an argument to say that you’re more knowledgeable than the player. But making the resume point humbly to express that your opinion comes from a base of something and then to cede that the players experience has more weight and accepting that you have more knowledge after hearing their insight and now see where you were incorrect isn’t something Skip would ever be humble enough to do. But that’s how the media has essentially always functioned.
