  • Thank you Chase for putting Purdy into perspective. He was THE BEST QB in the NFL last season. Period. And behind 22nd ranked pass pro Oline + receiver separation stat you mentioned and he’s played 1.5 seasons without a full offseason!!! Stoked for the possibilities. 👏 Let’s effin go. Also Chase keep your mind open to Purdys responsibility when it comes to pass pro. The greats all know how to move all of their pieces. I think he’s going to do it. Hopefully starting this year and then beyond.

  • He has produced extremely well from day one with a below average offensive line, he was an mvp finalist in his first full season and he probably should have won, of course the hall of fame is a real possibility if he stays healthy. Plus you add in the anticipation, the fast reads, the accuracy, running when needed, and the leadership, and this looks like his path if he can stay healthy. He takes too many bad hits when holding the ball until the last moment, brady didn't do that, he needs to fix this.

  • People also need to realize that as long as the front office continues to draft well and supplies Purdy with more weapons then its going to keep Purdy consistent down the road, 4,5,6 years down the road when he's already signed his big contract. Why do you think they drafted Ricky Pearsall? Its another talented playmaker on a ROOKIE CONTRACT and once again turning the dials back and increasing these windows of winning and playing great football. JUST. KEEP. DRAFTING. They found their QB, the world doesn't end without Deebo or Ayuik. Theyre great players, yes. But great teams are constructed by great decision makers and those decision makers make great draft selections that keep their team Winning. Its A CYCLE. Another point i wanna make is Garoppolo was out their winning and moving the ball up and diwn the field in Shanahan's offense throwing to guys like Trent Taylor, Kendrick Bourne, Garrett Celek & Marquise Goodwin.....Brock Purdy will be fine even "IF" Lynch & Shanahan decide to to move on from Deebo or Aiyuk this offseason

  • Fix the O-line Purdy and 49ers would break the whole league. The reason 49ers stalled offensively was because of our O-line getting beat by the other teams D-line.

  • People criticize him like he's a 10 year vet who's been mediocre his whole life. It's year 3 just loading up for him and his career thus far is only 1.5 seasons. If losing in the Superbowl is your ceiling you've already had a better career than most but he's only just begun imho. I think Brock's floor is Kirk Cousins and his ceiling is in the prime Drew Brees range but with Romo mobility. I think we have at least another 2 to 3 year window with his steep discount at this position to keep rocking a super team. Need to trade the barn for PS2 and hit on draft day for the O-line imho to make a full run this year realistic. Go Niners!

    @justinsugay1149@justinsugay1149Ай бұрын
    • I don't know how about Romo. But Purdy is already better than Romo. Tell me when Romo went to the Super Bowl. Montana, on the other hand, has reached the Super Bowl, and he has the pocket mobility as smoothe as silk. And MVPURDY has the same pocket awareness. Niners need, PROTECTION FOR MVPURDY NINER STRONG 💪

      @ryanjones875@ryanjones875Ай бұрын
    • Yeah, the criticism about Brock's size may be a little unfair. He is the same size as Jalen Hurts and just as explosive in short area quickness. His frame is stocky but height is below average which is why his balls sometimes gets batted in the pocket. Sean Payton prioritized strong interior lineman to protect the integrity of the inner pocket for Brees for this reason. Would be good for the Niners to do the same. Purdy's quick processing and ability to extend plays helps mitigate some of the oline's weaknesses in pass protection.

    • Every hater makes this argument. That's a hypothetical, not a fact. If your team isn't the Chiefs you've got it worse than us. Mahomes is a problem for 31 teams not just the Niners. Otherwise we have the best team in the NFL. Could be better at CB and O-line. QB is solid like it or not. Greatest value when you consider salary too. Those are facts.
