    • 2nd or 3rd receiver statistically BUT as a champion , team leader , making those around him better - he does not get in as a 1st ballot ! ( as an overall player ) I’m ok with T.O doing what he wants - he will actually get more attention / remembered for the way he is. But def not a first ballot. To be first ballot it’s not just skill -you have to act like Brady , Jeter , Jordan - not the way he did. Just drama drama drama beef beef beef !

    • Brynny211 What about Randy Moss? He's a first ballot guy. Failed drug tests, allegedly Quit on the Oakland Raiders. Was far from the "champion , team leader , making those around him better" type of guy. I love Randy but if he's 1st ballot, TO should definitely be first ballot. It's a pretty clear bias...

      @timocruz510@timocruz5105 жыл бұрын
    • Timo & Brynny I grew up watching TO and Moss, and I say Moss is the best receiver of all time. I get Rice's stats, durability, work ethic, never taking a play off, blah blah blah. But Moss had more ability on the field than Rice did. And I'd draft Moss over Rice any day of the week. And with all that being said, Moss deserved his first ballot. Anywho, TO should have been first ballot too. You don't get TO without getting all of TO. Without his temperamental attitude, you don't get his defense-changing ability on the field. TO was the one on the field. TO was the one catching the ball. TO was the one taking the hits. He can celebrate his induction however he wants to

      @jamsess19@jamsess195 жыл бұрын
    • Brynny211 This sounds Ridiculous. Champion and Team Leader are under the Team Attributes/Category. You're argument makes little sense when it comes to HOF candidacy. This is not the P.C. HOF. The bylaws clearly stated that nothing off the field should be considered except for criminal conduct.(Paraphrasing) You are talking what you feel and not Facts. 2014-2015 is when locker room issues were included. Yes...other factors could be considered for "Fringe" HOF players but not Undeniable ones. This is not Debatable. Sorry.

  • I had the joy of watching TO play and I noticed something over the course of his career. He was a great player that wanted to win. BUT he wanted to be the reason why his team won and if they lost, it was because they didn’t give him the ball enough. There was always someone to blame for why said this or did that and never owning up to your mistakes and taking responsibility is what TO couldn’t accept. His actions and attitude is why he was let go off of 3 Super Bowl contending teams. That speaks volumes and ultimately that’s why he wasn’t a hall of famer first round go. Should of he be a first ballot? His numbers say they do. But he shot himself in the foot too many times for the writers to overlook. It’s actually petty for TO to be upset but Eric is right one day TO will regret not being in that stage. Some people grow up but don’t mature internally

  • I respect what TO did because he he is showing that he don’t need any validation anymore. TO is the top 2-3 greatest WR of all time. ALL TIME. You don’t put him in a HOF because he he stands his grown on everything he do and don’t submit? Then when y’all ready they wanna put him in ? Nah I’m a man I know my worth. To turn down HOF speaks volumes I respect him going against the system. Stand your ground TO

  • So why did it take so damn long to put Charles Haley into the HOF? Because sports writers didnt like his attitude... 5 SB rings which he played a key part in helping his teams win 5 SB's! 100 sacks... That resume alone Charles should've been a 1st ballot HOF'r! Yet if u have attitude issues like Charles did & made enemies with sports writers this is what happens! When Owens made enemies with sports writers... Caused division on at least 3 different teams, 49ers, Eagles & Cowboys... Yeah thats not just on sports writers... Thats cause TO & ive always said this about Owens... He would rather lose the game & get his numbers than win & only catch like 2 passes! Thats proven when he played for Dallas his last yr! We started out winning but TO was getting the ball enough... So Tony started force feeding the ball to Owens & we started losing... Owens & Haley both need to accept that attitude goes along with how you played the game!
