Do a honest trailer on hocus-pocus
Please say " Kakarot can beat up the pansy Superman"
Please say " I am inedible Inevitable"
Say "I am The Senate" In any voice.
Please do an honest tv trailer for American horror story pretty please with blood and gore on top 🇺🇸💀📖
I always liked it when ghostface would get beat up. It’s so much more realistic. A fairly normal person who’s actually a psychopath isn’t a professional fighter or a superhuman.
Plus they were teenagers so it makes sense that they were unskilled.
So true i mean i love jason and the boys but come on
That's actually a big part of the movie, factoring that there is two killers. Some speculate that when Ghostface is more sloppy or getting beat up kinda it's Stu in the costume, but when he's more aggressive and direct it's Billy.
You should check out Prom Night the original, the killer in that they sort of based on this one, he runs, sprints, panics, and is much more agile than other killers portrayed on screen at the time
Ed Kemper was ...
I'm surprised the killer just didn't accidentally stab himself every time he fell while holding a knife. Don't run with knives children
No no, you don't run with scissors. Everyone knows you run faster with a knife.
@@schwann145 Dude, old school reference. Nicely done, Doug
@@senerzen Looks like no one else cared lol
So true!

"This cheerleader who takes a dump and then sticks her finger in her mouth without washing her hands." I now can never watch that scene without thinking of this. Thanks.
I know, right?!?!
somehow I didn't even remember that. ewwwww.
🤣🤣🤣
Pffft. Everyone knows pretty girls don't have bodily functions. She probably just sat there for a while and dropped some balled-up toilet paper in the water to give the illusion of metabolic activity.
That is the scariest and most disgusting thing in the entire movie, no in the entire franchise!!!!
Getting hit in the head with a TV actually helped Stu realise the error of his ways, so he decided to hunt other masked people with three friends and a dog in order to redeem himself.
This is my canon now.
He had to use medical marijuana to deal with the long term injury.
Now if scary movie gets an honest trailer. It's full circle.
Then they can do an honest trailer for Stab to go hyper-full-circle!
This comment needs more likes.
Yes
Oops. You didn't specify the 2001 one. Now they'll spite us and talk about the horrible 1991 movie instead.
*OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDD!!!!*
I'm never going to look at that cheerleader scene the same ...
I agree...wtf
I died when he said that lmao
Got a chill up my spine when they said that! Now I can never un-see that.
Also that cheerleader is not a teenager
I mean she WAS already pathetic for getting her gossip thoughts from Ricki Lake
Honestly, the fact that the characters landed so many hits on ghost face and that he actually seemed to be hurt by it (unlike so many other invincible horror villains) was one of the most refreshing things in the movie.
Shaggy wasn’t the same after they put Scooby down.
Omfg I’m dying
I'd forgotten just how much of a beating Ghostface took in this movie.
A beer bottle right in the jewls.
It's almost worse than the Scary Movie satire of it, because it's played straight. That fall OVER the girl in the garage? That's over the stupid line.
@generic generic LMAO
Y'all ever wear a ghostface mask before? Shits hard to see through. You can barely see what you're swinging at Nvm
In fairness he was two people
Y'all think in the universe of Scream they did an honest trailer of Stab?
Meta, bruh...whooaah
That's awesome. Hope so
Of course
Dude I just did a pound of shrooms and you're freaking me out
In that one it was based on a true story, so if they did I'd imagine it went differently. Could you imagine the commentary on that? Especially with all the sequels?
Remember how they used Drew Barrymore on all the posters, but then when you saw it you realized she died in the first scene and got a little pissed?
She’s the Ned Stark of Scream
I'm sure this twist in itself is also kind of a nod to classic horror, "Psycho" in particular.
Nothing compared to Jeff Goldblum in the latest Jurassic World crap...
Or Steven Seagal in Executive Decision (1996)
Any time with Drew is worth it.
The opening ten minutes with Drew Barrymore is some scary stuff. My favorite opening to any horror movie.
Seriously. The best intro to a horror movie
Not just best horror movie intro best intro in almost any movie
Honestly, my favorite opening to any movie.
Easily. Especially since Drew was major money at the time that producers had to convince the studio killing off Drew in the first scene was going to be the movie maker
@@davidcohen8866 Drew herself actually partially came up with the idea to be Casey instead of Sidney who she was originally thought for
The real horror was the friends we made along the way...

The real horror was...OMG I'M BEING STABBED!! HELP ME!!! DON'T JUST READ MY COMMENT!!! CALL THE POLICE!! Gurgle..
The fact that a guy named Craven makes scary stuff is just amazing. Like a guy named Diesel who makes vehicle-related movies.
In my country there's a company that sells wheelchairs and the founder's last name is 'Beenhakker', which literally translates to Legchopper.
@@alexschillemans6083 You made me spit out my tea! 😂
How bout a guy last name webb making spiderman movies?
In England, our BBC news has Sara Blizzard the weather lady.
Yeah that’s too funny to think that and vin diesel with fast and furious 😂😂😂. Too funny
I thought 'Scream' was a comedy when it came out. Spent 15 minutes searching the comedy section in the blockbuster store before a clerk told me it was a horror flick.
A lot of people say it was funny, but I honestly didn't. I guess it depends on through what lens you decided to view it.
You must be mistaking Scream with Scary Movie.
@@chrisucl It was more clever than funny. Very self aware and meta, before that was really a thing.
@@AsyrafFile same here. I almost Bashed my friend.
Scream is a comedy, it’s a mix between Horror and Comedy. One of the better ones too
Skills that most of serial killer has in every horror movies: - Unlimited Dial works - Teleportation - Invisible to non relevant characters - Superhuman Strength
And good balance/hiking shoes
Damn, that sounds pretty cool to me. I should become a serial killer.
yeah... or invisible even if just slightly out of frame
The invisibility part is so accurate. Neighbors never see a guy in a mask carrying a knife sneaking into people's houses.
"Unlimited dial works"?
You gotta respect the hustle when everyone is beating the crap out of him. - Life 101. 😂😂
kinda surprised they didnt slip some Chumbawamba in there. i get knocked down but i get up again...
Just your daily reminder not to say “I’ll be right back” in a horror movie.
Also check your doors are locked 👀
Unless you're the Terminator?
You mean _slasher_ movie. Sorry, it always bugged me how the guy talks about Slasher tropes and then acts like they apply to every horror movie.
Or "We should all split up. Cover more ground that way".
@@NailBombed I haaaaaate when they say that! And I looooove when a character replies "that's a horrible idea".
Kill the spoof genre? It kickstarted a craze that lasted over a decade
Exactly.
Exactly! I had to go back to see if I misheard that, I thought they might've said "kicked off" cus it definitely didn't kill it off
Yeah, for real. I mean, the first poster they have there is Scary Movie, the spoof of Scream that kicked off all the rest.
Yeah... But they were pretty bad (most of them)
@@VideoGuy232 scary movie wouldn't even be the same movie without scream, its beat for beat the same plot
Even the sequels were pretty great. Two was solid, three was goofy, but entertaining, and four was actually pretty slick
Scream is one of those franchises where even the worse sequel is still a good movie
I always appreciated ghostface for immediately attacking his victims. I mean...he(i guess i should say they) didn't stand for an hour in the corner like michael or jason.
They are supposed to be teenagers and don´t have the patience of the boomer slashers XD
@@pato6738 Read what you just commented in a posh boomer art critic voice for extra lols. ;-)
Can't ch ch ch ah ah ah if there's no wait time.
This is actually part of the satire against horror movies in general, just like Jamie's character talks about..no reason to wait, just go for the kill.
He was the fastest killer
"If this movie were made today, the mask would be an anime avatar." Like in Happy Death Day? That baby mask was SO anime based.
OMG that is so true.
No wonder why Scream and Happy Death Day are so similar.
@KJ Beast Yeah literally.
@KJ Beast it's a good movie tbf
Also made/designed by the same guy who did Ghost Face. Weird, that.
"If this movie were made today, the mask would be an anime avatar." Just like Godzilla vs. Kong, Squid Game is out there proving you guys nailed it again.
I love how clumsy Ghostface is. I’ve worn that mask a costume before and it is freaking tricky to see or move around in. It shows you that there are actual people under there and not supernatural creatures like in other slasher films.
You scream, I scream, we all scream for Wes Craven's Scream.

Biggest mystery was how the culprits didn't suffer multiple bruises.
Lots of cover-up? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Seriously lmao 😂
I think if you look closely, Stu starts one of his scenes checking for bruises. I think it's his intro, actually.
@@DLee-jd4yw he was concerned that Tatums titums bruised his face.
I'm super impressed by how everyone is beating him up in innovative ways! The poor guy can't catch a break
Well to be fair, he is trying to kill a bunch of people
How are you going to skip the best part where Matthew Lillard says while crying "My mom and dad are going to be so mad at meeeeee."?
Scream : the slasher film that is a satire to other slasher films.
Scary Movie 1... A parody for satire film lol
Scream is the real Scary Movie
The Boys: the superhero tv show that is satirizing Disney
If you want to see a movie that actually satirizes horror movies, not just listing off/lampshading slasher tropes and cliches, watch "Cabin in the Woods" instead.
Deadpool:the really good r-rated marvel movie that satiring other r-rated movies/marvel moive in universe
When they said “dealing with scarier stuff offscreen” I thought they were referring to Harvey Weinstein
😂
same
🤣
"What are you doing with a cellular telephone son?" LOL!!!
I honestly can't keep Scream and Scary Movie seperated in my head.
One thing I really appreciate about Scream is how Sidney and most of the victims actually fight back when Ghostface attacks them. Even though most of them died
it's part of the rejuvenation of the horror genre. instead of being supernatural, like all the big name slashers had been or become, it went into the opposite direction and, to an extent, grounded it in reality because of it.
"...you know what's REALLY SCARY? .... _This cheerleader taking a dump, then sticking her finger in her mouth_ ... Without WASHING HER HANDS!! " Hahaha 😆😂🤣

Scream had a great twist with having two killers, and the way it played out at the end was classic! Top 5 slasher film.

The school bathroom scene was the dumbest. Was he just sat in there all day hoping she'd come in? What if she'd called out for help and some people ran in to help? He'd be totally trapped.....
Maybe he had to do a really stinky, noisy deuce but the other girls walked in and he ended up waiting so long it went away, saw Sid and figured stabby stabby.
Yeah well it's just a slasher movie. Hardly realistic. I mean a beer bottle to the face? That would knock someone cold, make even kill them, or at least fracture their nose / facial bones and cause severe bruising. But the killers had nothing.
@@chrisucl it would definitely mess you up.

New Nightmare is easily a top 3 movie in the Freddy series.
@@FavianTubeX 100% agree.
I stopped watching after they insulted the best Nightmare sequel. Honest Trailers really lost their way..robably through all the sponsoring.
keeponplaying yeah I think Honest Trailers thinks popularity = better because Scream was a bigger box office hit. A lot of casual movie fans don't know about this one. Unfortunately it didn't have the series name in the title. That would have helped.
@@FavianTubeX New Nightmare got rave reviews, it just didn't make money. Honest Trailers didn't need to knock it at all, they should have just put "The other one"

The most funny thing to me was that when I first watched this movie, I was convinced up to the reveal that it was the cop, and that was later the case in Scary Movie, the parody of this movie.
Officer Doofy was great. "Smell my finger!"
