  • Seeing Roy Jones Jr go down like that was a truly sad moment. I followed him and Delahoya for many years(Before UFC came along) and watched Roy's domination of everyone in multiple weight classes. He had just moved all the way up to heavyweight and defeated John Ruiz to become the Heavyweight champion. Then he dropped weight back down to face Tarver. Maybe that weight cut contributed to his losses, but sadly every great champion eventually gets old, chinny, and slower.(Except Rocky Marciano who retired undefeated as heavyweight Champion weighing only 188 and fighting much bigger heavyweights and knocking most of them out cold. Jersey Joe Walcott is still unconscious. LOL.Marciano was something else. All that power and will from a man that would be considered a light heavyweight now. For his size I'd say he was the hardest puncher of all time.) Anyway, Roy, Oscar you'll always be great in my eyes.

  • When I heard that pac-man was going to fight Hatton, I knew that Hatton would get knocked out early in the fight. The reason I knew this was that I had seen a number of Hatton fights, and in a lot of those fights, Hatton got hurt, as he was easy to hit. Seeing how the Pac Man was fast and accurate with his punches, there was no question in my mind that he would knock out Hatton.

  • The Tarver vs Jones is was an amazing. I was too young to be involved in boxing but knowing how amazing Roy Jones was, I can guess Tarver was a heavy underdog.

    • Lot of respect for Jones. Best in his era. Pound for pound etc. But the quality of some of his opponents was shocking. HBO just giving him money for anything. Only had a few good worthy fights.

    • Groves earned big money for an average fighter. Yes got a belt and my respect, but his wallet was sent in to orbit because a referee stopped him being hospitalised in the first fight.

  • Manny pacquiaOW!!! I remember watching the fight and wishing it could have lasted longer. Manny was an incredible boxer, but Ricky Hatton was also great to watch, as was Dave Boy Green. Brilliant to see their fights on KZhead too, as you can enjoy the action again, as well as look up a few more iconic fights from likes of Leonard, Hagler, Duran, Hearns, Frazier, Foreman.... etc. etc.. Amazing times in the world of boxing, and the rise of Tyson was soon to come!

  • That left hook by Nonito Donaire against Vic Darchinian is the very best left hook EVER caught on film! I've challenged people to see the punch & 100% of the time, I have to rewind the vid to point it out, or wait for the other camera angle, for them to see it. Wow! I've been a fan of boxing since I was a little child. I still find it a truly stunning display, of everything, boxing encompasses.
