Hard to imitate unless you have similar physique. In almost all cases, it's better to be tall with long reach like current champ Tyson Fury and late great Muhammed Ali.

  • I remember as a kid, when boxing was still legal in Norway we had a boxer fighting a match in Las Vegas. We had to watch it at my uncles place, he had a satellite dish. Our guy was mediocre he lost, I remember its was still kinda interesting in a way. But after that came the main event, with Mike Tyson... I looked at Mike and thought, tsss this dude is way too big. Slow af, heavy weight is boring. A boxing match has never again made the same impression on me. This was the Iron Mike up and coming at his prime, he was as fast or faster then a feather weight, with lightning fast reflexes and a technique that was godly. I cant remember who his opponent was but he was totally outclassed. He didn't stand a chance. Later on the sports news we had a interview with our guy, and they started talking about Mike. He said yeah I know Mike we used to train in the gym together. I was like wow, he knows Mike? I was a instant fan.

Tyson PPV was truly a spectacle of its own. Nowadays people complain if they see a main event on a PPV card and it goes 12 rounds. Back then no one ever felt like they got robbed for paying for it even if it only lasted 1 or 2 rounds. You only complained about missing it happen live, but never like you got robbed and paid for money for nothing!
