On this episode of Actually Me, Mike Tyson goes undercover on the Internet and responds to real comments from Twitter, Reddit, Quora, KZhead and more. Why did he stop boxing? Would he take an uppercut to the chin (no gloves) from himself in his prime for half a billion dollars?

    • Holyfield basically did just that. Smothered Tyson, crowded him and pushed him back. Tyson often fought in a "squared up" stance, meaning your feet are basically side by side instead of one behind the other diagonally. It helps you generate great power with both hands but you're weak to being pushed back. Tyson couldn't fight off the back foot (cause he never needed to) and failed to cut angles defensively, so he paid the price.

      @NeoGodHand@NeoGodHand4 жыл бұрын

  • It amazes me how many people are surprised by Mike's "turn around" so to speak. He was definitely an angry young man but he has always been someone full of love and kindness. You could always tell tyson had a gentle soul, no matter how ferocious he was in ring. This is a man who very clearly just wanted to be loved. Iron Mike Tyson was part character part outlet for the man Mike Tyson to vent all his pain and anger. It's interesting how a man who admits he was projecting his own fear outward was able to intimidate some of the baddest men on the planet. I don't think he wanted ro be a villain, it's just that he was labeled a villain and decided to run with it.

  • Mike really is the nicest guy in real life. It's actually kind of interesting because you see these people who are like "the worlds best boxer" or "worlds best fighter" and you think they'll be scary or kind of crazy in real life. But most of the time they end up being these really chill people. And there's actually a really sound logic to it. The truth is that when you're at that level you have to be as controlled as possible, because the outcome at that level is based on who's in better control longer, not who's more violent. In fact if you're out of control 9/10 times you'll lose, because you won't be able to follow the game plan and everything will fall apart.

Every time mike would setup with the jab Evander would move his head under and clash the strong part on the top with Mikes temple. He got away with it constantly because it looked accidental. Anyway he is paying the price now as Hollyfield appears to have suffered a lot of brain damage.
