Boxing Legend Mike Tyson hosts Sadhguru at home, and seeks insights on life, fear, and the human possibility. Sadhguru also answers questions on his own life, family and much more, in this unique and engaging conversation.
00:00:00 Intro
00:04:52 Mike Tyson: What do you think you're here for?
00:30:16 Mike Tyson: How did you, how did you get on your path?
00:57:37 Mike Tyson: How many children do you have? Right now you spoke about daughter.
1:06:00 Q1: how you get to the soul of yourself by moving through your ego by practicing goodness towards others
1:12:11 Q2: What bothers you, and if nothing bothers you, why not?
1:14:15 Q3: Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the results, the desire of what you're trying to do. How do you detach, but at the same time help… How do you separate?
1:18:10 Mike Tyson Asks: What should be my illusion of myself? Should I be a nothing, or should I be glamorous, magnanimous, powerful? What should I be?

    • I think it's possible to be more joyful when you're sharing and spreading your joy with others. Not that solitude is a bad thing, we can cultivate true joy in solitude and then let it flow outward. If we seek joy from things and people outside of ourselves it's like a single candle flame in the middle of a forest fire. It loses its singularity and gets blown out by the wind generated by the bigger fire. But in solitude the flame of the candle can grow.

    • Pleasure can prolong pain. But true joy will eliminate pain. Joy cannot be found in pleasure. I could feel lust and engage in pornography to PLEASURE my flesh. But at the end of that carnal activity we feel the sorrow come back. Because Pleasure cannot diminish our sorrow but suppress it. True joy is found in the relationships we hold in our lives with each other. When we confide in one another and develop friendships out of the darkness and in the marvellous light. Joy is the light of the world, but pleasure is a shade for your darkness.

Letting go of resentment takes place in the heart, when we open our hearts we experience: Love Gratitude Compassion Forgiveness Understanding Kindness Joy Discernment Trust These postitive heart-based vibrational experiences provide the motive magnetic force for thoughts and feelings. Thoughts(elec)are the steering wheel. Feelings (elec)are the fuel. Emotions (mag)are the engine. A critical mass of us affects the principle of sympathetic resonance with our hearts thereby creating a synergy that positively changes the course of human events. As huge fans of Mike, witnessing this side of him was truly amazing. One moment that really stood out was when Mike asked Sadhguru about the abundance of negativity we're exposed to.
