His podcast proves what a deep, thought provoking and humble guy he really is, open and honest, revealing his fears and insecurities, but with the uncharacteristic subtlety not associated with the 'Iron Mike' of old. Huge respect.
As someone who watched his whole career from '85 on, I never thought he would be in such a happy place. He seemed like one of the angriest people on the planet for most of his life, and all that seems gone now. Its really great to see.

If you listen to Mike talk, he is the most brutally honest celebrity. At times watching his podcast, he gets ultra-real and makes your jaw drop. You would never see other stars admit to their faults and feelings as Mike does. It was also an absolute treat to see Mike and Roy Jones step in the ring for an exhibition bout. Even at Mike's age, he still has the speed and stamina of a tiger.

As a child of the '70s and '80s, I first developed a love of combat sports by watching Mike Tyson tear human beings apart on a regular basis. Having witnessed Mike's rise and fall, I can say that there were many years that I thought my favorite fighter was destined for a very sad and early end, much like Sonny Liston. Iron Mike Tyson seems to have genuinely forgiven himself and reached a point in his life where he is happy to just be Mike.

There’s something that just feels so right about Mike being his best self. The old Tyson may have gotten mad at some of Jimmy’s questions, but he never got flustered or angry. He just kept it cool the whole time.

Man, I never missed a Tyson fight growing up, and it made me nearly giddy to watch the spectacle, from the ring entrance to the frequent massacres to the post-fight interview. But none of that, NONE of it, compares to how damn great I feel inside watching him smile and mean it.
I LOVE the humility. We have seen him come full circle and it’s glorious!! God is good! A good time to be alive for him
Mike is hilarious and a gem of a guy it seems- from his fighting career to everything he's done in entertainment since- the interviews, The Hangover, Mike Tyson Mysteries, getting obnoxiously high and being vulnerable on camera, the guy seems like he's just riding that perfect wavelength now, and I'm happy for the dude

True. Most late night host wouldn't invite Mike on now a days much less ask the questions Jimmy did. Conan might be the only other host that I could see inviting Mike for an interview to promote his stuff.
