Buakaw os more fearless, fear maker, destroing right low kicks and an amazing left cross punch. Saenchi is more like a performer, he does put quite a show, and in the end, all is friendly

  • When I was in Thailand and my friend, a local and a former Muay Thai boxer, brought me to a gym to for some lessons and I asked him to strike me. He told me I needed a pad and I insisted not to but he ended up getting a pad for me to hold and just one kick knocked me off my feet. So I got up, asked him to do it without the pad and he said "your ribs will break" and he gave me some strikes at 30-50% and I was bruised for a week. We got some food with some other fighters that evening and I'll never forget when I asked what would happen if Buakaw striked me and my friend translated and they all laughed and my friend replied "you'd die!" and I asked what if he striked them? and they all laughed and my friend said "you die....we die....we all die" lol

Only been tko once in his career of almost 280 professional kickboxing/muay thai match. Some would argue Giorgio Petrosyan is the greatest instead, but Buakaw is certainly a top 3 in the g.o.a.t list

He may not be as popular as Ronaldo or LeBron, but this guy puts in twice as much work both physically and mentally. Muay Thai training regiments are brutal and the vast majority of people wouldn’t last a day working out at these guys’ level. These fighters might as well be from another planet with the way they are disciplined and the amount of work they put into their craft.
