Uncle Iroh isn't the uncle we all deserve, but he's the uncle we all need.
Uncle Iroh would say something deep and meaningful like, it's not about deserving; you need me so here I am, even if you don't want me. Always.
Uncle Iroh isn't real, but if we all take his life lessons to heart and try to be better people the way he would want us to be, he can be. And if we know someone who is having a hard time like Zuko, we can try to be the Uncle Iroh in their life.
The guy they got to replace Mako after he passed away doesn't get enough credit; he did really well considering the enormous shoes he had to fill.
thankfully all 3 of my uncles are pretty cool. the youngest of them is 25 years older than me but we talk like friends and joke around a lot

When a show gives a real well balanced story and characters to people, we stick to them for a lifetime.
I think the American population would rather have a long drawn-out drama with where the story doesn't carry over.

In all honesty, the time Appa got kidnapped, the gang stopped making progress and almost does on many occasions.
When you yelled "Shyyaaaamaalaaaaaaan!!!" I choked on my water and coughed it up. 🤣🤣🤣 My throat hurts and I can't stop coughing, but I am totally okay with that. I did not dare take another sip during the rest of the video despite my coughing. My dog is already concerned and confused.
Ok, but also, like the fighting animation with the bending is absolutely STUNNING and that final battle was nothing short of epic...just wow. And of course, I cried like a baby at the end because this show was so freaking good

I am in no way suggesting other options don't exist, merely that (until korra) the avatar universe has very little in the way of infrastructure, so getting access to sweet potatoes and other vegetarian fiber/protein sources might be hard in the middle of a country sized swamp.

@Daniel Gonzalez Huerta In the greek story of icarus, icarus and his inventor uncle were forced to work for a king, so the uncle(forgot his name) made a way for them to escape using makeshift wings with wax and paper, so they flew out the window but icarus was too excited by being able to fly that he forgot the wings were made of wax, and when he got too high and close to the sun, the wax melted and the wings fell apart and he fell into the sea, it basically means dont be too cocky or it will backfire on you Edit: it was his father not his uncle, and the fathers name was Daedalus
