To be fair he didn’t actually get jumped. The avs player dropped the gloves to defend one of his star players, but when he realized that the player was hurt he didn’t do anything. I feel like that’s pretty good sportsmanship.

Thats kind of a sketchy hit. While technically legal, its still very dangerous. I have no problem with the fight attempt. Makar was fully engaged with MTL fwd and the body was being played by #25 when romanov came in with a blind side hit.

i don't like after every hard but fair hit, some dude drops the glove. Why? That hit is a must play by a defender, he does it in a fair manner, Makar must expect the hit, he can't expect they just let him drive through there, the Habs aint a McD drive thru. As a D, if you don't hit on that play, you're in the minors. So why even drop the glove if this is a fair hit that must be made? I see that a lot recently, and it sucks.

That hit is a must play by a defender, he does it in a fair manner, Makar must expect the hit, he can't expect they just let him drive through there, the Habs aint a McD drive thru.
