Hi guys! I'm back with another video and today we will be watching Jacob Trouba's biggest career hits. He's one of the best hitters in the NHL and I think his hits deserve some attention. Make sure to leave a like on the video, subscribe and comment for more content like this.

  • I'll never understand why someone has to fight after a massive CLEAN hit

    @kliffdj2394@kliffdj2394 Жыл бұрын
    • Because not everyone on the ice had their eyes fixed on it. All they see is a teamate on the ground and a player with cheapshot history (yes I know 98% of his hits are clean, but he goes for the occasional decapitation or butt-end and/or elbows in the kidneys too let's be honest). Imagine if it's you, you play the puck and you hear BANG behind you. You turn around, your teamate isn't getting back up and the player is Matt Cooke. Can you honestly tell me that you'd wait to see the replay? A reputation doesn't go away because a player is on a 8games streak with a cheapshot

    • @@hoozoohleague8264 I can honestly say I wouldn't just drop the gloves unless the player doesn't get up then you defend the player. Look at the Kadri hit. Perfect clean hit and Dube decided to fight lol zero reason and I'm so happy they called Instagator calls all night for that bs

    • @Kliff DJ having done the job of enforcer 3years in junior and 2years in senior, I'm telling you. If it's a Bergeron, you ask the opponent if he's fine 😆 if it's a Gudas, that might be the last time he'll ever be sent on the ice while you're there, better give him the good old house of pain special and apologize after the game if you were wrong (my home ice in juniors had a House of Pain banner, it's one of the oldest arenas still standing in Canada and the name just stuck in the 60s, it's stupid really, you can check it out online, the place has been decrepit for decades lmao)

  • Trouba is smart. He knows that after clean hit the other team will instigate. So he demoralizes them with a solid clean check and then draws a power play. Two birds with one stone.

    @AbsoluteADCC@AbsoluteADCC Жыл бұрын
    • Really is some ultimate big brain shit 😂 he knows how to throw a MASSIVE, clean hit but he only ever defends himself after. He's never the aggressor (after he throws the most aggressive hit of the year for the 6th time that season)

      @frankt285@frankt285 Жыл бұрын
    • He's not dropping the mits because of 96% of his hits that are legit. He has to drop them for the 4% that are dirty. I've been an enforcer, sometimes you just hear a bang, turn around and you see a guy standing over a teamate. First thing you do, check the numbers to see who it is. If it's a player without history, meh. But if the guy has a bad reputation..that follows you for an entire career. It's like Lucic. He wasn't hated for his hits. He was hated because of the slewfoots, hits to the head and his signature spear in the scrotum

      @frankt285@frankt285 Жыл бұрын
    • @Frank T a vast majority of his hits are clean. But on the rare occasions when 2wires in his brain get crossed, he's one of the premier cheapshotters in the game as well. Just look at the armia incident. Missed his open ice hit by a large margin; got mad, elbowed him in the kidney. I've played some messed up hockey but I had never ever even thought of that move. Armia missed 9games, no penalty, no suspension, no fine 😅 next time he bumps one of their players slightly, accidentally, what do you think is going to happen? Same when he legit tried to kill Palat with a elbow (the time Palat ducked under and saw his life flashing before his eyes). Even if the hit didn't land and the Lightning does something worse 3x per month, they still have that image in mind over yonder

    • There's no way to "take" a blindside hit. They are predatory hits with intent to injure, and hockey needs to decide whether satisfying yahoo's bloodlust is more important than players brains. You can't brace yourself for something you don't see coming.

    @HarrisonHollers@HarrisonHollers Жыл бұрын
  • I know ranger fans are gonna defend him to the end. But that crosby hit was dirty and deliberate. The rags were on the ropes at that point in the series and that changed the series entirely as crosby got concussed when trouba headshotted him with his elbow. If that didn’t happen the pens would’ve won the series. Even clean hits like he did on timo Meier during the devils series while clean had dirty intentions. The rangers were done at that point and down by 3 and getting outplayed. He hit Meier in order to injure him because he’s a star player and the devils were well on their way to the second round and he thought why not injure a key member of the devils top 6. To quote urinatingtree “oh wow jacob trouba achieved his injure star player per 60 quota”
