Update: So the main concern with this mouse was the spacing between the left and right mouse buttons, HyperX are addressing this immediately so you should be able to get a copy without the issue. yeah they got my full support ,my hyper x cloud 2 usb dongle worn out and they replaced it ,later on the year the headset stopped working on one side connected cable and the fully replaced the set

I like how simple this mouse is. I'm so used to the deathadder and now that they fixed the issue with the two mouse buttons hitting each other, I think I might buy this.
Even if they didnt fix the issue, you could just use some sandpaper and fix the issue yourself

I know, but i think there are bigger issues with other mice. Bad cables, bad shape, sensor rattle, bad sensor. This one is easy to fix, others are almost impossible
Hey Zy I've just bought the HyperX Pulsefire Surge and it's was an amazing mouse. I hopped into practice range in Overwatch and I immediately noticed that mouse 5 is too small to press did you had this problem too?
I was considering the roccat kone aimo but this looks really nice too!
Get the Aimo, much better quality. Hope you like large mice.

I got the Mice today and its really nice and comfortable. The only problem are the sidebuttons, the traveldistance is a bit to big.

I have been using the razer deathadder chroma for about 4 years and love everything about it, now since it’s bugging out i am thinking about switching to the hyperX Pulsefire surge. Is this a good option or are there any better ones out there? ( kinda worrying about the Pulsefire being too small) my hand size is 18cm in length and 10cm in width.

this comment is super old but i figured i’d ask, how did they compare? both feel good but i’ve heard bad things about both mice in terms of quality but i also just really like how they both feel.
An update, you can set profiles on the onboard memory by dragging the profile to the slots on the left and hyperx has fixed the the button overlap.
So far the best budget mouse I've tested or used, i like the weight and how heavy it is and the dpi button is nice and tucked in there. I would agree with you on the side buttons being a bit too mushy, not the mushiest I've used but not what I prefer. I have played quake 1, 2, 3 and more as well like you and it's very good for those games though I find it has a little bit too much of a hump at the back and i think imo it should be not as high along with the right side being curved a little more, it reminds me of an old hp school computer mouse but other than that it performs good a lot better than imo a steelseries rival 300 but that could be subjective but it's far superior to a steelseries rival 100! also my model is the more updated one so there is no binding of the 2 keys when you are pressing the 2.

Hey Zy! Can you make a video talking about mouse grips? For some reason I always feel like I aim better with fingertip grip, but does grip really matter? Fingertip grip makes me feel like I have more control over my mouse and more dexterity, whereas I love the comfort and stability of claw grip, but my aim is not the same. I've been playing with fingertip all my life, and just spent about 8 months using claw grip on multiple mice. Is it because I've practiced more on fingertip grip why I'm better with it? Or am I just a better fingertip gripper naturally than claw gripper? Also I notice I grab further back on mice with fingertip grip since my hand is 11.43cm wide, but shouldn't smaller mice make me aim better? Claw grip makes me grip the mouse at a smaller grip on the mouse, but even with a comfortable mouse and grip with claw, with a smaller grip width than your recommended, I still don't aim as good as fingertip grip. If you could please make a video explaining this, or grips in general, if they affect accuracy as well as grip width, or if grip width is the only thing that affects accuracy, or just reply to this comment if you aren't up to making your own video for it. Hikaru Swift I was the same way don’t change grip. Play how you are comfortable changing grip WILL CAUSE INCONSISTENCIES IN AIM!
Old Rival 300 had the same problem... I hope there will be more wireless mouses coming out, couse after using the G703, I cant imagine using a wired one...
I had problem with left main switch after one year using. I repaired it by myself. I bought and solder one switch. I like this mouse.
With an exacto knife or if you have a dremel tool... You can easily cut a small part off of each button, where they meet together. I tried this mouse at Best buy... And i gotta say... It feels fantastic... The moving and tracking is very smooth...

Zy, what do you think about the FK2 side buttons (if you use them), myself i use them quite alot when i game and find them a little too small, do you think the ZA series could be something to try out since they look like they have a bit bigger ones or is the difference not noticeable enough? pretty sure im gonna like the shape on the ZA series as much as i like it on my FK2 so that probably wont be a problem.
How in the world did they ship the mouse with those mousebuttons, I would probably buy it because the shape seems to suite me but fuck me that stuff like this happens in 2018.
104 gs seemed pretty light to me,, had to get adjusted to a lighter mouse when i bought this, overall really happy with it

I ordered this mouse today and got scared shitless when you said the buttons hit each other, but thank God they seem to have fixed that. I saw another mouse that I liked more and was cheaper also HyperX, but I wanted a simple looking mouse, with 2 side buttons. The one I saw later had like 6 side buttons, crazy, but I kind of hate myself right now for not seeing it sooner... It really expensive, I really hope I haven't made a mistake...

Is the polling rate fixed at 1000Hz or can it be changed to 500Hz and 125Hz in the software? Some of my older games have compatability issues with 1000Hz.

Logitech G Pro vs HyperX PulseFire Surge, which one is better for Claw/Fingertip grip? (I use the A4tech X7 for 8 years and now I need a new one).
