Night Wolf but razer mouses does not last long. I been using razer mouses for at least a decade. I can safely say that they last 2 years max on average a little over a year.

I've had the Death Adder Elite since late 2016. It's such a great mouse. My next mouse will probably also be from Razer. I really like their shape a lot. For now though, I've had zero reasons to switch.

I bought the Basilisk v2 yesterday and I love it. I came from the SteelSeries Rival 110 and this was a big upgrade and got me more frags in CS. I love it.
@VALERIU SMERICA Wonderful! Clicks are snappy and not require much pressure. Wheel actuations are variable and can be adjusted to liking and very amazing mouse it does it's wonders.
I have had my original deathadder 2014 for over 5 years now and it has been the best out of 3 mice for gaming. Never broke or had to Rma it. Will be upgrading to the V2 soon

When I exit Synapse, the color settings revert, it does this on all my Razer mice. DPI is saved, but not RGB.
My first was the 2013 deathadder and I loved it, I just got the v2 and gave my old one to my buddy who needed one. The only thing wrong is the two left buttons started to not work every time but still were when I gave it away

Love the upgrades and the Death Adder in general but its 2020 and I have gone wireless now. Very hard to go back to wired even for the DA which is perfect. Had my eye on the Viper but just a bit too small for me to pull the trigger Will wait for the DeathAdder Ultimate Wireless version. Get on to it Razer!
I got rid of the Death Adder, to the Corsair Glaive pretty recently. Mostly because the sensor was outdated (I noticed a big difference in my abilities while playing "Osu!") and the grips peeled off. But I still kept it for my laptop.

We seem to be very similar when it comes to mice preference. I two was a big fan of the death adder and actually still have my 2nd one sitting there gathering dust. Same reason switched out because of weight. Went through like 4-5 mice before settling on the Logitech MX anywhere which I have been using for the last 4 years. GIven our similar profile would you choose the death adder 2 or the viper ultimate having tested both of them. thanks Dave!
Razer death adder was my first mouse too, bought it when it first came out, and still have it. It's pretty much worn out, but still works. Switched over to the imperator, had 2 of them, then stopped buying razer cuz of all the qc issues. Maybe I'll give them another shot next time I need a new mouse.

I got a viper ultimate for my b day and I was stunned at how light it was compared it to my old mouse. It almost felt cheap and non durable but I learned to love it when I used it more
And also this helped out so much so now i'm considering buying a deathadder

Hey Dave. Quick question as I trust your judgment on laptops. I have been given a budget of £700 (gbp) only. Need it for productivity & media consumption only. Ideally a portable machine as well. Happy to upgrade memory & ssd in future. Could you please please suggest some recommendations? Great channel btw! If i had an oil well under my feet , I would go for razer blade in white and the zenbook pro duo. Much love and thanks for an awesome & informative channel!

I have not one, but one (XD) Deathadder Elite and the shape, the sensor, and the feeling of the clics are fantastic. EZ go to mice
"on-board memory" got me interested because you're right, synapse sucks. If they ever put out a wireless version of this I might get one.

What is so bad about it??? People keep complaining about it in every comment section.. isnt it just supposed to change dpi and some other settings?
Raft Lack my own experience has been not great. Plug and play is almost impossible with a lot of the razor products requiring an internet connection and there are updates galore. When I use my mouse with my laptop, it will not respond when I undock and dock back in.
For me the mamba wireless is the Dearh Adder version 2. Check out your local walmart there may still some left for clearance at $35-50
Best thing about dave2D is it’s not about his income but about his interest. And that makes the approach to videos so much better!!!

Using a g303 for 5 years, was looking for a replacement went with the g pro wireless.. tried it for about 3 days. Felt okay to me, Returned it. Picked this up.I gave this death adder v2 a try and i'm shocked. Finally found the perfect mouse. I play Apex/csgo. And wow, feels like theres no cord with the new material cord they have implemented, especially with the bungee. No need to spend extra for wireless...
Thanks for the review. Just wanted to chime in and mention that this mouse, like all new Razer mice, does NOT store your RGB lighting colors to the mouse. Without Synapse 3 it will default to spectrum cycling... Very frustrating for me as I hate Synapse 3 so much. On my Viper I could just disable the RGB and the logo would disappear completely, it actually looked pretty cool. But they didn't do the same with on this one unfortunately. So without Synapse 3, it's either a rainbow logo, or a grey outline of it.

And it's just $60. That's very worth it imo. If I didn't have my Viper Ultimate this would be my first choice It's lightweight, PTFE feet, decent cord, and fast ass mouse clicks. That's a steal right there.
The Deathadder V2 is a nice upgrade over my Deathadder 3.5G from 2010 while the Basilisk V2 NOT so much so I will be sticking to my V1 of that particular mouse for the foreseeable future. Also I personally prefer heavier mice over lighter ones
love the deathadders, but i switched to another brand after my second deathadder with double click issues. both mice lasted a good while. about 3 to 4 years before seeing this issue. Has that been fixed? maybe the optical switches will help
Deathadder 2013 was my first gaming mouse. The razer materials so long lasting that the mouse lasted 5years. 5 years i had the same mouse and it didn't disappoint me.
This is what I was waiting for. I think the DA shape is unmatched, if you don't like fingertip or claw grip, this is it!
I liked the Deathadder 3.5G (blue LED version) back in the day but honestly a simple Logitech Wireless G305 gets the job done these days for me.
Both my deathadders broke, either the grips came off, buttons got stuck or some other issues, think they where the 2016 and chroma ones, feel cheap in my opinion, hopefully they fixed these issues as I really like the ergonomics.

the build quality looks very solid to me on both the Deathadder and the Basilisk, Razer were starting to fall behind Logitech and Zowie but now it looks like they are stepping up their game
I got the viper (wired) when it came out. It's so goddamn light and comfortable. My friend has a steelseries mouse, which until the viper, was basically the lightest mouse on the market, so when the viper came out, I needed it. It's the only razer purchase I've ever *not* regretted, which is a little embarrassing but it's the best compliment I can give.

Gave up on the deathadder after replacing my 2013 edition one with a Chroma...only for the wire to stop working after a year. Might give it another shot.

I think I'm going to swap my GPW for this mouse. Had the DA for years before and went wireless but basically all those mice are ambi and i dont think i've ever gotten quite comfortable with the shape.
Never owned a Razer product. I’ve always looked for weighted mice. The heavier the better. I use standard, light weight, mice at work but for gaming I like a little extra. Though I have been playing more and more with the Logitech 602 on my secondary machine due to the wireless and programmable buttons. Maybe I’ll try this new one.
hey mate really like your video. Im thinking of buying this mouse but I have a question. I ve bought a mouse that cant handle multiple clicking. example: hold right click and side button or left etc. is not supported. Does this mouse have this problem?
Does the RGB lighting settings get saved on board as well? I heard otherwise in other reviews.
I heard you install the software on a windows, and then you can use the settings on the glorious model o on the Mac. Because of the onboard memory, can you do this with the Deathadder v2 too?
haha i had the original deathadder also. then got the deathadder 3.5g, then i got the deathadder 2013, then got 2 of the deathadder chromas. the awesome thing is, my original deathadder STILL works perfectly and i still use it from time to time just for fun.

I always had liftoff issues with any Razer mouse I've owned (maybe 6 different ones over the years) and every Logitech mouse I use with the HERO sensor has absolutely no issues at all. I can't quite understand why that is a thing? Hopefully its different on the new Razer sensors.
Honestly, I've had my DeathAdder Elite for over 3 years and it's still going strong to this day. When I'm going to have to upgrade my mouse, this is the one I'll pick up.
The only reason I stopped using the Elite and swapped to a steelseries rival 600 is because the grips started falling off

So I know Dave has said he runs the Blade 15 in past videos. Is there any way to control the keyboard lighting without Synapse? I've read that some of the hardware performance stuff is also tied to the Synapse software.

in short number 1 most awkward to hold in hand mouse gets another rename, but this time, with upgraded sensor to the best sensor razer can offer which is pretty standard sensor, but upgrade is upgrade

The RGB settings can't be saved to the on board memory, it reverts back to the default rainbow cycle if You exit Synapse. and that's a dealbreaker with both DeathAdder V2 and the Viper. No buy sadly. I would have been "ok" with that if the deafault setting was a static color and just lived with it. But no, it had to be the unicorn rainbow cycle.
