Wait... What!!! Lmao
@@ghilliegamer8099 Yeah I was working for Werner enterprises at the time. I had a layover at the Indianapolis terminal, waiting to do some kind of meeting. Well I was in the lobby playing games on my MSI GX-70 and I was paged, so I just got up and went where I needed to go. After a half hour I came back, computer and stuff was there, mouse was gone. I've been using the Deathadder mouses for a very long time, and I have always loved the shape of them. It fits my hand perfectly and it is a perfect quality for gaming. I love these mouses and I recently got a Deathadder V2 and it has been amazing. Great quality rubber grips and a very smooth feeling. I love the Deathadder v2!
3:34 that little finger walk kills me.
Been using since feb when it was released, my daily and its still like it came out of the box. No issues at all, no wear on sides or pads on bottom, overall perfect. I regularly game 8+ hours a day and it feels really good. Previously had a Model O, G203, G Pro, and Model O- and the Deathadder V2 is by far my favourite.
So you've had your DA V2 for four months and it still look like it just came out of the box? And we should be impressed why? Oh, sorry, I forgot it's a Razer product. Yea, it's amazing it's still working...
can you rate a g203 for a 17cmx9cm? what grips r best
@@blahorgaslisk7763 Well considering their reputation the past few years, yeah we all should be amazed by it because it means they've finally stepped up their game and turned things around. Here's to it looking like this for the next few years or so.
@@joe-bw6wy I used my G203 for relaxed claw, those measurements are about the size of my hands and I think palm and claw are pretty good. I could never fingertip grip, but its really just preference. It's quite a small moues ngl but the clicks are still pretty crisp, I still have mine in a box after using it for about a year. Only problem I've had is the bottom pads wear off easily.
@@JacobThomas0212 have you had replacement pads?
I will always try something new, but the Deathadder always pulls me back in. It’s the shape. It’s just perfect.
Got mine about 3 months ago and ive been really happy. I came from using a Coolermaster CM310. It had really nice high quality RGB and was very simple to configure and use. But after only about 7 or so months, the cable connection coming from the mouse started breaking, so i traded it for a Deathadder Elite, and its very nice. Definitely for large hands which I'm okay with.
Thanks for the Review D! first gaming mouse I've used and i'm happy with the changes, planning to buy one and replace my M4
As a previous owner of deathadders i always loved the shape of them definitely one of my favourite designs. I bought the original deathadder and it was my longest lasting mouse when that one broke after a few years. I bought another deathadder the mice build still felt good however the mouse didn't even last 1 year and i didn't have the patience to RMA it so i purchased another one and that one broke with in a year as well. So i bought 1 last one broke in 6 months, at that point i gave up on razer. Every product I've had or gifted to people has broken ever since they brought back the chroma versions of the deathadder. I worked in a computer retail store as well and razer does not have a good reputation for the workers because how much razer products needs to be RMA'd
SeN927 For me, it is quite the opposite. I bought the razer tarantula in 2010 and replaced it this year, because I wanted a mechanical keyboard, but the tarantula still works. I also owned the boomslang for around 5-10 years and then replaced it with the mamba in 2015. The boomslang still works and I still use the mamba. For me razer makes one of the most reliable products I have ever owned, but I take a lot of care and clean my keyboard and mouse regularly.
Just out of curiosity, what mouse are you using now? My Razer Deathadder Elite recently started to give in, so im currently looking for a new mice.
@@simonbru1299 Had the same experience as he did. Switched to steel series sensei 310. It's awesome, never had an issue.
My Razer Viper's scroll wheel kept getting stuck. I've RMA'd it twice, got fed up, and replaced it with a Model O instead. It's simply bizarre because my budget G203 and DA Elite never had any problems. I'm not telling people to refrain from buying the Viper though, because it's really good. Just be gentle with the scroll wheel, and maybe replace the mouse feet later on.
@@simonbru1299 It really depends on what type of player you are. Are you a chill gamer that just wants a comfortable mouse, or do you like competitive titles where you want to aim your best? If you game lightly, just get the DA V2 or Glorious Model D. If you're competitive, get something that you can fingertip or claw grip. Palm grip is usually not as good for aiming.
Been using a deathadder for years. Still my goto. Even bought one for work. I just keep an eye on Amazon. Sometimes the price drops 50% and I buy it.... :) Death adder elite was a good build.
Nice review! You guys do the best ones around, I built half my PC with yours in mind :) I bought the Deathadder v2 about a week ago, after reading some reviews, I thought about giving it a shot, and man, I didn't miss. The shape is great, I do claw and fingertip grip with a hand of 18,5x11cm and is absolutely amazing, it fills up your palm without being bulky, along with the perfect weight for the size. I've been using a Steelseries Rival 300 for 4 years, and this upgrade made my precision almost 2 times better in competitive FPS (BF5) and I felt it since minute one. For the ones that like big mices and have medium and large hands, this is the one (IMHO).
I have so many mice and this v2 is my favorite to use for any fps.
This comparison hits the spot. I've had the original Deathadder since 2008 and thinking about upgrading, because I'm just so used to the shape. It still works great, even though my friends told me at the time of buying that it's gonna fall apart in half a year. I'm NOT a very tidy person and I slammed the mice in fits of rage on the table many times. If that's not a testament to the quality, I don't know what is. Спасибо за обзор, Дим! ;)
I have been using my original Deathadder 2014 for over 5 years now and compared it to 3 other mice over the years. Nothing has compared to my oldie and will be trying the V2 in the future. Hopefully it lives up to the standards because mine has not broke once over the time I have had it.
I've been using a death adder in some shape or form for the past 7 years, It fits my large hand exceptionally well. I upgraded from the Death adder RGB to the Death adder Elite in 2018, unfortunately I've had some issues with the mouse since then, the scroll wheel bugs out at slower scrolling speeds and the mouse has started to double click. I'm hesitant to tryout a new mouse that isn't a death adder so I'm seriously considering the DeathAdder V2.
I've had the Deathadder Chroma for a few years and have had zero issues, love it. I upgraded to the V2 because it's the only one I feel made real upgrades. I love it even more. Honestly I just love the fit and feel in my hand the most but all the other grades really make it a quite nice mouse. The optical switches in right and left mouse buttons do feel different though, the previous iterations all had mechanical up to this point. I wouldn't same "squishy" but they do have a "softer" feel. Less bite and not as loud. I am overall happy with their mice and glad to continue on with them for mice.

The Dark set has a strong suit of its own👌
I bought a deathadder when it first came out, haven't wanted a different mouse since. Tried a couple others after my first deathadder died. I didn't like them so I went out and got the black edition death adder. Ran that one until the buttons gave out and got the Chroma version. I'd buy another one if this one went out without question. Would love a wireless version as well.
It's going to be interesting to see how they use this new set. Dmitry is Hollywood quality with his film work.

I fell in love with the DA ever since i got my hands on my first DA elite. I cant seem to change to other models/brands due to the weight and arc. Just purchased the DA v2 pro recently due to a very good discount deal.
Bought a V2 to replace my elite that started to malfunction after a couple years. I tried looking at other mice but I just didn't wanna risk having something less than what I'm used to. Which is basicly a great allround mouse.

Does the wire annoy you?
@@luckyllama7607 not actually.I actually love the wire it feels so protective.
I still have my 2013 version. It still works that honestly I want it to break so I can buy the new one.
I love my Death Adder Elite, the only problem I have had with it is, the side rubber piece started to come off of it. I fixed it by using double sided tape, the kind comes with cold weather window insulation kits.
Another problem for me is the top two buttons where if I flick I will press it accidentally
I can tell you how to fix and upgrade your grips at the same time, if it interests you. Buy a roll of Lizard Skins 0.5mm DSP Bat Grip, peel the original rubber grips off entirely and use them as a template to cut new ones out of the Lizard Skins grip. Use some rubbing alcohol to clean up any adhesive residue off the mouse and stick your newly cut grips on where the originals came off. You now have new and upgraded mouse grips that can be easily replaced in future if every needed.
When mine started coming off I fully took the grips off and rubbed the adhesive off and I was able to get used to it if all else fails
I had the same issue plus I ended up with a double click as well. This mouse really isn't that great as it broke after only two years moderate use.
Going on year two with mine, the only "problem" I've had with it is the green LED in the scrollwheel busted lmao
as someone who bought the razer deathadder v2 without knowing a lot of things about mice and just having 3 options in best buy, i don't regret buying it not just a little bit, it has a lot of features that make it perfect for me with the addition of a lot more of costumizability with the razer synapse
😸 Ik
I had the original DeathAdder (I might still have it, it's around here somewhere). It was a great mouse, lasted quite a bit. I was then gifted a Mamba shortly after it came out for Christmas by my parents. That was a great mouse but it didn't last two years. After that, I bought my current mouse, the DeathAdder from a few years ago. It's still going strong, very comfortable, reliable, and clean looking. I don't like a lot of design "action" on my stuff (outside of lighting), and this thing is great. I currently run Corsair heavy, from fans to RAM to keyboard and mousepad (all RGBed up of course), BUUUUUT I don't think I will go Corsair mouse for a while. I have a feeling this mouse will last me a good long time.
Just bought the V2, so this video gives me a good peace of mind
But can You set the color to a fixed color (or turn it off) and then save it on the onboard memory and uninstall the crapware (synapese)?
@@laggmonstret No, you need synapse to properly use the rgb settings. Tbh I'm having no problems with it

I got this mouse on sale at walmart for $20 a couple months ago and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It works flawlessly.
I've been using a Razer DeathAdder for 7-8 years now, and have absolutely loved using it. The shape fits my hand perfectly. However, it is definitely starting to show its age with the scrollwheel button starting to get worn out. I have to click it a certain way to get any sort of response (though scroll still works). I've been looking for another mouse to buy, and I'm tempted to get the V2 now that I see it's released. However, I've been wanting to get a wireless mouse, and currently thinking of getting the Basilisk. If the DeathAdder were to come out with a wireless version, I would purchase it in a heartbeat!
My first DeathAddder was DA Nova Blue (2006) next one was DA Respawn aka 3.5G (2009) and now DA V2 (2020). The feeling of this mouse is one of a kind, fits my hand perfeectlly.

Personally owned the Deathadder v1, Deathadder elite, Deathadder v2 and the Mamba wireless (supposed to be the DeathAdder wireless Equiv) Always loved the shape and the weight definitely did not hold me back. As the mice got lighter and the mousepads got smoother, it becomes harder to control. However, turning down the sensitivity easily fixes the "issue" and allows for a more comfortable experience. Very fast and responsive mouse. Wouldn't use any other mouse. The only issue I had up to the Deathadder elite was the rubber grip falling off after a couple months of constant use. The Deathadder V2 fixed this by having it built into the mouse instead of removable.
Been using a Deathadder Elite for about 4 years now, upgrade from a Corsair M65 laser, never looked back
deathadder lineup review!!!
I've used the razer deathadder elite for almost 4 years. I definitely put it through its paces. Traveled with it, threw it, slammed it, the braiding on the cable essentially fell off but it still worked. Only recently did it break and I just had to buy the deathadder v2 because there is nothing that can replace the feel of the deathadder. The shape, size, positioning, simplicity; it's all there. It's not over complicated like most other mice on the market with useless grooves, adjustable weight or 10 to 12 buttons. It's simple, sleek and it more than does the job. Turly the best gaming mouse on the market.
Been using three generations of deathadder and never think of stopping it’s just perfect for my hand size and comfortable

It never fell, and i never used it in an agressive manner, switched to Corsair Harpoon, cheap and reliable.
They've really changed now though, the Viper and Deathadder V2 are *really* good quality. My v2 has been my daily since feb, no issues at all and nothing has worn down (sides, bottom pads). Not even close to the best, especially because Razer uses cheap switches in their mice that develops double / triple clicking problems when you only click once. Had to RMA multiple Razer mice because if this issue.
Click what is this? 2012? Their switches are specifically designed to avoid multiple clicks

been using DAs models since the original, rocking a 2yrs old Elite atm and I just bought a Viper Ultimate. I'll get back to DA when a wireless version comes out :)
Hey would u prefer the DeathAdder v2 to the Logitech g pro wired
Nah, logitech g502 proteus spectrum
Imagine playing with a brick
Not even close. G502 masterrace!
A bit too flashy and heavy
Been using a Deathadder Elite for 2 years+, still totally great.
Techno Ralph yeah me to but 3+ years
I have the Deathadder from back in 2013 and its going strong, though it has a material cable and not the rubber one so is it version 1.5?
I wont buy any products from them anymore, ive bought 2 deathadder, the first one was great, but after some time i had to change it, i really liked it so i bought the deathadder Overwatch edition, 6 month after i bought it the pads under are already scrap (they freaking MELTED with the friction of the mousepad), the rubber that my thumb is resting just fell off, used to be for gamers by gamers, now its for peasant by profits ( and EVERYONE knows, their software SUCKS)
I heard that razer products break easily, but, I have a razer abysus 2013 that I bought around 2016 and it works as new, didn't have any problem at all with it and I wanna say that I use at least 3 hours a day.
@@simonadume3739 bruh I have been punching my Raizer Taipan for 5 years now. Old stuff is def. solid
literally hammering the shit out of it
I have the V2, had it since february when it released. Still works perfectly, perfect size pads under are still perfect - no wear. Rubber sides are also still perfect with no wear. I use it everyday as a daily. Don't even need to keep the software installed due to the Viper and Deathadder V2 having on board memory. Ngl they've stepped up their game
Nah that's just ur luck honestly, I have the viper since release and it's amazing
Never was the best gaming mice. Its such an uncomfortable mouse. Not enough room for both fingers to rest comfortably on the left side of the mouse
yeah idk what people thk about this look at the front it looks more like ambidextrous basilisk v2 is the best najs thumb "rest"
no problems for me what so ever. this is my second deathadder mouse. before the V2 i had the chroma edition. no problems with it what so ever with my hand and finger placement
Have 2 Left handed Deathadders. One from 2010/11 (around release) and bought a replacement (just in case) 5-6 years later. Still going strong. Sadly they've been out of stock for a long time! We miss you lefty version :(
I've used the deathadder for about 7 years when I started gaming and I've never looked back, my first one lasted me about 5 years and the only reason I retired it was because the mmb stopped working consistently, sometimes it works and other times it just doesn't register like I never pressed it, I play a lot of strategy games so that was kind of a must have button for a lot of games, the scroll still worked just pressing it down wasn't always 100 percent so then I got another one, and that one has lasted me since, recently my lmb has been doing the same thing where a normal click works perfectly but holding down the click will sometimes just let go of what I doing, dragging a box to select units or in the middle of full auto in an fps it will just stop and then re engage, so I'd say it's time for another, it's the most comfortable mouse I've used and I'm so used to it I don't think I could switch to anything else
