That’s right, Mat had a look through every car that’s on sale at the moment to choose what he thinks is the #1 best-looking set of wheels each sells at the moment, along with which is the ugliest!
However, not every manufacturer features in this list! Keep watching through to the end of the video to find a list of manufacturers which he thinks don’t produce a single ugly car, along with a list of those that ONLY make ugly cars!

  • One car overlooked was the 1984 Isuzu Impulse (aka Isuzu Piazza). A Japanese car designed by Italian Designer Giorgetto Guigiaro. The new car, fully loaded cost $11,000 USD compared to $22,000+ for a well equipped 1984 Datsun 300ZX Turbo. I bought one in red w/gray mouse fur interior. I drove nicely & turned heads everywhere. After owning numerous cars & most new cars, that is the one that's missed the most.

  • How the hell is the Mach E a good looking car in any metric? It's literally the ugliest piece of design with the blue oval in the past decade. It's fits the model y description perfectly, it's a Mustang that ate all the pie and got its face smashed by a hammer.

  • Personally I'll go for a Kia Stinger rather than the EV6. Also, I think the RS5 and RS7 Sportback look gorgeous, even better than the E-tron RS. I can't say that I agree with everything on this video but good content as always Matt👌

    • Yes, finally someone who acknowledges the beauty of the Audi 4-door coupes! The RS4 and RS6 get all the plaudits because of the estate/wagon cult, but I’d take their saloon-esk sisters everyday! (They have lift back tailgate to reveal a big boot, just like an estate/wagon, btw) The EV6, while not the best-looking Kia, is the coolest-looking Kia. The DBX-rear end, the unconventional profile, the pronounced headlights, just yes.

  • I thought the new Avalon was poorly styled, but the Prius, seriously? The front ain't the best but when he meant the rear was especially ugly I thought he was joking, because COME ON, the rear? It's BEAUTIFUL! And also The Camry SE looks better than the GR Yaris, but that's just my opinion. I also expected the Fiat Multipla (1st Gen) to be there as Fiat's ugliest but I forgot that it's cars that are currently on sale, but that thing deserves to be in the Ugly list, no matter what.

  • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Personally, I have grown weary of cars that look like used bars of soap. While I'm not sure I can refer to any trucks as "beautiful", there are at least some that look functional so I agree with your picks of he Wrangler and the G-wagon. When my wife asked me to take her to a Ram dealership to buy a truck she had picked out online, I thought it was the prettiest pickup truck I had ever seen - a 2018 Ram Classic Express in an exterior color Ram called Blue Streak. Of course, it has seldom been as clean as when I first saw it and it now has some body damage but I try to squint enough to imagine it as I first saw it. They don't seem to still offer that exterior color but, last I knew, you could still buy a Ram Classic Express - and the Ram does look quite good in some of the currently-available colors.

The only one I really think is a sin to say is that the Audi R8 (the older model, not the new design) isn't Audi's best looking car. For sure, porche makes perfect designs though.

  • This was very interesting to watch, even though I disagree with a lot of Matt's opinions....that's all on me though--I don't find SUVs or hatchbacks to be typically attractive (I hate the Mustang SUV, it's ugly and no one can change my mind. Shame on you Ford). But it's always interesting to see various opinions on the matter, even if they're unpopular or ones I can't fully get behind. (Though I do need to point out that Aston Martin did make the Cygnet, which was an ugly car....BUT it's the only ugly car Aston Martin ever made so they definitely did better than a lot of the other makes on this list!)
