I had a 1975 Gremlin; and although it had many failings, it lasted 10 years through some pretty rough driving. And a brand new, red white-striped model with an automatic transmission was just the coolest car at the time.

But it's still butt ugly.
As sweet as it is on the inside (an included cooler is a nice deal, think of all the Mountain Dew it can hold), it's just... really painful to look at.

1. The Gremlin is a cool looking car (especially for a 3 door car in the 70's). 2. The PT Cruiser gets too much hate, it doesn’t look all that bad. 3. The Transport… I forgot what that is actually. 4. The Juke aged a lot better than most would expect, now so many crossovers are designed in a similar fashion. 5. I have zero clue as to how it’s ugly, it just looks like a tiny van that happens to have 3 wheels and likes to roll. 6. The Aztek is literally the beginning of the modern crossover, and just like the Juke its design features made it look incredibly modern for a car from the 2000’s. 7. The Prowler looks great in my opinion, it perfectly modernized the classic hotrod, yet it goes unloved just because of its V6. 8. The fact a Prius wasn’t included surprises me, granted 1st and 2nd gen’s aren’t the worst, and the 3rd is okay, but the rest are ass. 9. The Cube admittedly doesn’t look the greatest, but we only got the 3rd gen, the 1st gen looks kinda generic, but the 2nd gen is actually a very nice looking little car.

My dad had a reliant robin MK1. Should have heard the intake of breath when he upgraded to the MK2. He used to take me and my brother to North Wales in it at a truly astonishing 45mph. Every time I think of it I think of the starship enterprise.

Very few cars on this list are anything near ugly. I'm not saying you don't have any ugly ones, but most of them aren't. The Chrysler PT Cruiser and Plymouth Prowler were retro-rides. They were supposed to be designed similar to 1930's sedans, and customized 1920's and early-30's roadsters, respectively. The AMC Gremlin wasn't bad looking until it got the 5 MPH front bumper in 1973, Actually, the Pontiac Trans Sport (and it's counterparts the Chevy Lumina APV and Oldsmobile Silhouette), were quite attractive from 1990-1993. They had a kind of monorail look that was appealing. Real ugliness; 2002-2005 Hyundai Sonata; Kia Amanti; 1996-1999 Ford Taurus

When I first saw a P T Cruiser I thought it was a Model T Ford.
I think the features on the Pontiac Aztec are amazing. It gets a lot of criticism but not many other companies are daring enough to add tents and coolers etc. It was advertised as a multi-use, fun vehicle and I think it lived up to that. Great idea in my opinion.

I personally really like the Gremlin, especially the Gremlin X. I don't see anything that wrong with the PT cruiser personally. Reliants are absolute jems of British engineering! Azteks are so ugly they're cool, and they're super functional! The plastic cladding was also just on the first year. Prowlers have to be one of the coolest American cars of the 90s!
SideWayz Moose actually plastic cladding was never removed, Pontiac simply painted it with the same color of the cars body if im not mistaken.

in 2017,in The Bahamas,I saw an *EXPLOSION* of Cubes on the streets.one day,there were none,the next we were taking my mom to the airport and I actually county about 20 in one day!to this day I can often find at least 4 cubes on the street,whether driving or parked in a lot.sometimes there would be 2 cubes of the same exact color one behind the other,same in the parking lot.cubes here,cubes there, cubes everywhere. then I would spot the names on the back and some would be the regular style,some would be very square,would also see Cube2(square) and Cube3(cube)

My family owned a Multipla back in the day 😅 honestly I liked it cause the interiors were pretty cool!
They should had mentioned the Cadillac Seville, manufactured between nineteen ninety-four and nineteen ninety six. It had a slanted back, that looked like somebody chopped of two sections of it with an ax. And the Nissan Cube looks like a toaster on wheels. 😰
My father owned, in sequence, a Gremlin, a Pacer, and a Ford Pinto.

The cube kind of looks like a mix of the 90’s boxy cars and the current cars (with like the curve coming out at the back). I honestly like it, I used to really want one. But, that’s my opinion.
The Cubes in Japan are actually more cubic. It fits the aesthetic there, so it looks good. Good thing too, since you'll see so many there

When the PT Cruiser was first advertised, I was kind of excited. It appeared to give a nod to the cars of the late '30s and early '40s. But there was something puzzling with the ads...there were no people in the pictures. I thought it was going to be a full-size van. Finally, they released photos with people, which put the car in proper scale. Suddenly, the excitement was over.
Both the PT Cruiser and the Chevy HHR look like panel trucks from the 40's and 50's. They had truck front ends and were vans from the B pillar on back. They became full blown vans in the 60's.

Actually, the Kia Soul is a little more aerodynamic than the Cube. Ultimately, it's more like a Nissan Versa with a square hatchback.

the relaint robin is a quiet normal looking car for the time it actually looks similar to other cars o the time. it's just a little unpractical having 1 front wheel
Tata magic iris is not a personal ; it's just a public transporter like taxi's and are used mostly in the rural area so it has a small and compact design so that people can afford it in the rural areas

The Reliant Robin had three wheels was because it could then be classified as a motor cycle and sidecar, therefore it could be driven without the need for motorcyclists to take a car driving test. It also had to be no more than 7 cwt in weight.

All the pt cruisers past 2005 actually look good but the older ones have the grille that extends down past the bumper bar and the bumper bar looks like a weird straight moustache. I have a 2001 pt cruiser and I want to put a 2006 front end on it
