"Dennis, go again, I guess." Oh, man. Amazing "I'm not mad, just disappointed" energy there.
Yeah I love it. I'm just sitting here thinking really these guys have no knowledge of the history of football the packers were the dynasty back then hence the trophy for winning the superbowl being called the Lombardi Trophy.
Yup. I imagine that's what he's like when the 4th or 5th WR finally gets in the game, gets a ball thrown to him and drops it. "Run the same route and I might, or might not, throw it to you again. We'll see.."
Exactly 💯%
I honestly like this guy on the show; he's not someone you'd expect and has a personality to do Trebek's memory justice. (I know/retain 0 regarding sports of any kind, not my thing, so I sympathize with the contestants but also gladly accept the "I'm not mad, just disappointed" look. I like the idea that having him as host might challenge people to explore more fields of study including sports)
Perfection. And after they got the next Celtics question he was like “Oh you know that one, huh?” Lol
Aaron Rodgers is that guy that has a different tone of speaking than you think he has. Dude definitely thinks before he speaks
VERY disciplined guy
He’s improved so much over the first week it’s crazy
Until you get him talking about UFOs and aliens.
That's actually a very good idea, more people should practice it!,..👍
@Kylan Ira yeah you’re right no one cares
When the question to the answer is literally staring you in the face.
Rest In Peace, Alex Trebek
He will be missed. It's gonna be a hard job, replacing Alex ...
Trebek would smile over Rodgers' response.
@@rick709carv9 It will be a hard job replacing Alex Trebek but I'm sure that the person who be picked to be the host of Jepordary! will do great. Knowing that they have an angel watching.
@@teamsteed1 an angel watching?!! Did you really think Alex would go heaven after years of hosting jeopardy just so watch the over the new host as he is in paradise, bitch plz
@@jessiec4768 It was a passionate comment take a chill pill dumbass.
People are complaining about him being flat and uninvolved. This was pretty damn good and his reaction to them getting the Celtics was pretty good as well. He’s fitting into the rapport and timing pretty well.
Theres a balance, people. Find it.

@SILVER ☘️SHAMROCK Yeah man, I see the issue. I heard the ratings dropped when Couric appeared and then really fell with Dr. Oz's appearance. I hope this ratings issue gets resolved quickly, but I honestly don't know how. Seeing the next line of hosts after Rodgers, I don't think the ratings are gonna be back up to standard anytime soon sadly.
i totally agree! except for doctor oz though, i just... i have no respect for that man and his relationship to facts.
Ken jennings wasn't a good fit. Given more time he might have loosened up and become more comfortable. But the guy who is the shows producer did fine. I think he was the best fit. Aaron Rodgers would make a good permanent host as well. We're going to need someone up there.
Clue: This team made Aaron Rodgers unhappy. 0:09
That's true, lol. I came here just to see if anyone would comment relating to the current state of affairs between Rodgers and Green Bay.
Who are the Seattle Seahawks?
when is the last time GB drafted a WR for Aaron? thats why he is pissed
He missed his true calling in life. He should have been a high school Biology teacher. The one that still can't believe you don't get cellular mitosis after taking his class. Twice.
This is so specifically worded, I gotta believe it's experience based lol

For God so loved the world that He gave his only son, that whosoever believes on him should not perish, but have everlasting life...God loved us first, would you show your love to him. Repent and be converted. Now is the time for salvation, tomorrow may be too late
He is extremely good at this too. Crazy
All men are guilty of sin. Repentance means to turn away from your sin. For example, if you are a liar you stop lying. Repenting is not just saying sorry, it is saying sorry and not continuing to do that sin. Sin is what separates us from God. God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. Meaning Jesus took the punishment for our sins on the cross. If we believe on Jesus our sins can be washed away, and God will remember them no more. If we reject the son of God and continue in sin we will be under Gods wrath(hell fire). Repent today and believe on Jesus Christ, and recieve the free gift of eternal life.
@@brotherdj777 Hey Nobody asked
@@brotherdj777 😐
@@brotherdj777 Of course, Brother, Christianity is a false religion and Islam is the only true religion reconcilable to God.
@@brotherdj777 That's NOT what repentance means. Have you turned away from all your sins? Are you a perfect sinless being? Stop adding works to the Gospel. Repentance is a change of mind, change of heart from unbelief to believing in Jesus alone, which happens the nanosecond somebody believes the Gospel. Believe the Gospel. Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, he was buried, and he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. If you believe this Gospel alone, you will be saved. We are saved by grace, not by works.
That's some strong "I'm not angry, just disappointed" vibe
Jesus offers salvation, peace, and hope to all who call on him. If you have heavy burdens, Jesus will carry them for you. No matter the pain and suffering you have been through in life, trust in Jesus for a brighter tomorrow. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

It's the infamous football category all over again!
Every time. I'm with the panel, quiet as a mouse.
Yep. :)
I wish he'd become the permanent host, but he's still got his football career. I guess he could still film in the off season if they want him.
He’s said he’s very willing to take the job as the host :) he already has a plan to film when football season is over. He will probably retire from football in a few years too.
A lot of offseason time to shoot a lot of episodes 😈
I believe Monday and Tuesday are his off days unless he's playing on Monday Night Football. If he truly wanted to he could film on those days. Plus like others mentioned he has the entire offseason.
Lavar Burton!!
@Ryan Irwin- Diehl there are about 160 days of football, jeopardy is only 42 days, he has plenty of time to do it
That was pretty cool on Rodgers part.
Aaron Rodgers is fab! Give him the permanent gig of Jeopardy host!
I mean he’s still the qb
That might happen, But I wouldn't bet on it. I still think Ken Jennings is the odds on favorite to become the permanent host, we'll see, just my opinion,..🤷♂️
@@gamemasteroffun He openly said he'd love to be the full time host a couple weeks ago when he was on the Pat McAfee show. He's a long time die hard Jeopardy fan
This is literally his fourth day and people are complaining. I think he’s great and if he’s this good now, he’ll only get better.
It's because they've already forgotten about Doctor Oz or Katie Couric.
@@tiberiuswolf8259 so much better than those two. Dr oz especially couldn’t give a rats ass about this show. Aaron has been a fan for life and the best thing about him to me is his respect and reverence for Alex.

I wonder how many viewers (or contestants on this episode) remembered that Aaron beat astronaut turned Senator Mark Kelly when they played Celebrity Jeopardy in 2015.
Funnily enough, that came up this episode too. One of the questions brought up twin astronauts Mark and Scott Kelly. After the correct response, Aaron mentioned Kelly was a now-Senator and 2nd-place finisher at celebrity Jeopardy.
@@sebastianjoseph2828 Yes that's why I mentioned it. Somehow I wasn't surprised none of the contestants knew who the Kelly brothers were, which is unfortunate.
I remember reading about that.
The title of the clip explains itself. 😆😆😆😆😆😆
In my opinion the first 2 games of this week is the best job any guest host has done. I thought Aaron was pretty good in week 1, but he's seriously stepped it up in week 2. His pace in reading the questions is excellent and he's figuring out how to balance that with his personality. You can see the massive potential here.
He really did rapidly improve. This is a new thing for him and he adjusted QUICKLY. I hope we see him on Jeopardy again in some form.
Purple gorilla True but dont think he's not returning back to football like some diddnt think Jordan not returning back to basketball
I thought he was a bit stiff the first week, but he seems to be relaxing now and enjoying himself. As lifelong Chicago Bears fans, when I told my daughter that Aaron Rodgers was growing on me, she thought I lost my mind.

For a lot of you this may be the first time you're hearing of Aaron Rodgers, or maybe you've heard of him but that's it. Well welcome! The guy is very cool, very smooth in the way he speaks, very thoughtful, and also humerus and likeable. As a Packers fan, it's a joy to watch interviews, and to watch him play for my favorite team. He's not a selfish player, he just wants what's best for the team. He's super competitive, but not one of those guys that throws a tantrum when things are going poorly. I hope you guys can appreciate him as well, and I hope he gets the full time job, because that would be super amazing for him.

Didn't quite know what to think when first seeing Aaron Rodgers on JEOPARDY! Now, I do know what my thoughts will be when he's no longer there and they will include a bit of sadness. Please return again and again, Mr. Rogers.
I was waiting for this to happen in one of his shows
I laughed my you-know-what off when I saw this last night. In my mind, it instantly became an all-time Jeopardy! classic... and was even funnier than last week's Final Jeopardy! moment about who called for the field goal in the playoffs. I really didn't know what to expect from Aaron Rogers' stint as co-host but it's been outstanding.
I think Aaron Rodgers has been the best guest host so far. Like Alex Trebek, he's funny, he reads the clues well and he has those quick jabs and responses that make me want to continue watching. I hope they keep him on. Many athletes, celebrities and actors have more than one job. Everything is possible

The best host that’s been on after the passing of Alex...ken is who should full time take over because he has the knowledge to be able to back up anything he says, but the streets absolutely love Aaron and if you can work out a long term deal for his post nfl career setting that in motion can never happen too soon. I love Aaron , please make him permanent
Ok why does he fit so well for this show
🤣 "I guess."
Yo, Aaron Rodgers got some big ass hands!! Damnnnn!! He could probably clap without even moving! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Rodgers was stiff and nervous in Week 1. During week 2 however, he loosened up and found his stride. He was warm, personable and had great interactions with the guests. People saying he is "stiff" are being too harsh, considering the vast improvements he had from the first handful of episodes to his last. If he can improve that quickly, imagine what he would be like after a year of hosting. People need to realize Trebek had years to get good. Out of all the guest hosts so far, IMO Rodgets had the overall most potential in terms of growing into the position.
Aaron for full time host! #thankyouaaron
