Guest host Aaron Rodgers’ reaction to the $400 clue miss is priceless.
All three contestants disappoint Jeopardy! guest host Aaron Rodgers when they don’t know the answer to a clue that is near and dear to his heart. Sorry, Aaron!

All the Bears, VIkings, and Lions fans are rooting for Aaron to be the permanent host.
Joke's on them... he can host while retaining his job as QB.
Yeah but them hey would have to deal with the deadly JORDAN LOVE!!!!
You know they film an entire season of jeopardy in 46 or so days. That leaves Aaron plenty of time to still whoop their asses on the field. 💚💛
Facts hell he could host a question while throwing a dart to davante to make the score 40 something to -500

The absolute sass over the Celtics answer makes my sides hurt from laughter Go Pack Go!

Go Pack Go
@@andrewlehr5502 I gotta catch up on that show...
@@andrewlehr5502 ya go you guy Aaron something... ✌ happy weekend
Aaron is looking much more relaxed in this episode and nice to see that he's throwing a bit of humor into the mix. 😆
He fits surprisingly well on jeopardy
they coached him
“Go again, I guess...” “Oh, you know that one, huh?” 🤣🤣🤣
If Aaron takes over, the Pack is going to get meme'd nightly.
Mr. Rodgers just looks more and more comfortable with every episode. Would love to see him get the actual gig!
Yes, he has become more relaxed, now he talks too much!,...lol!🤣🤣🤣
He is doing so good!
@Mike Smith everyone knows mike smith isn't a fan. You've posted this on every one of his youtube jeopardy videos.
@Mike Smith it's hyperbole. Nobody cares enough to go look.
It’s true! Aaron is totally owning it!
Absolutely love Aaron's reactions when no one asks (answers) a Green Bay question! LOVE THIS GUY!!! HIRE HIM PERMANENTLY!!!
Anybody else catch when the contestant said "600", the screen showed "800" but gave the 600 clue, then showed 800 again for the 800 clue?
Let me fact check that real quick..
Yeah I wonder what happened there????
@@tbone3972 they just showed the wrong number so they corrected it lol
@@tbone3972 I would guess they TD some of this live while the game is play and selected the wrong graphic .
Aye, not alone on that one
It's amazing, these three contestants knew the Yankees, Celtics, Edmonton Oilers and A's, but not the Packers, WHOSE QUARTERBACK IS HOSTING THE SHOW!
The question threw people off. Many people know the Packers won the first two Superbowl's but forget about the league pre-merger championships.
@@IdealUser That could be the case.
It's unthinkable to them that they could win 5 in a decade and only two since, with overlapping careers from two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Also, while the Packers are famous, they're not the Yankees or Celtics. And they only got the A's after someone else guessed the Giants, only leaving one bay area team to "guess".
Broncos.
@@ericforsyth how are they not the yankees or the celtics? Football is more popular than either of those sports, and the celtics have won 1 title in the last 20+years now. The packers with 13 have the most total titles in nfl history
"Oh, you know THAT one, hunh? 😒" Lol
I'm going to miss Aaron hosting - These have been great!
he said he would love to host the show when he retires
@@ransomgrammer8947 Did he say if the offer him the job that he would retire?
Realistically he can actually do both! He can play and also host!
@@fatbean2000 he said on an Instagram Q&A he would not retire for it, in fact he wants to do both
Me, too.
I think my favorite thing about Aaron’s hosting is that, like Alex, he didn’t treat the contestants like children and apologize when they got an answer wrong. He wasn’t cruel, but no nonsense and kept the game moving, right or wrong, and even added in a little dry wit here and there along the way. You could tell he did the best job studying Alex Trebek’s hosting style.
well said.
I honestly really enjoy watching jeopardy with Aaron hosting. Sincerely. He’s serious and calm and yet he can be hilarious too. Give this nfl thing one last year, and then please come to jeopardy and be the host for the next 35 years
Thats why he's thinking about it. He wont make as much money hosting as playing but he could literally do it for decades if he wants (only like 50-60 days a year of filming)
We want Aaron, we want Aaron!
I am going to miss him so much on Jeopardy next week. I enjoyed his personality and his lovely smile. He certainly was an Asset to the program!!!! Amen to that.
"Dennis,... go again I guess" awww! made me laugh!
@0:41-0:44 oof lol I can see Aaron hosting more often on Jeopardy honestly :) I know it’s early to assume that 😅
Lol. People have said that about literally every host except Oz and Couric
well I've never watch Jeopardy until Aaron Rodgers was a host and now I just want him to have the full-time gig I'd watch every night
Everyone keeps saying he’s monotone, but isn’t that what Alex always was... he wasn’t some super energetic host.. that would be weird.. I actually like Rodgers hosting
...the memes say Alex was always monotone, but his voice was actually always very dynamic. Most of the hosts so far still sound like they're actually reading the clues, something Alex didn't sound like (though Katie Couric sounded the most natural, which is why I have high hopes for Anderson Cooper next week...)
@@IlGreven I thought Rodgers did a great job. If Anderson Cooper, he will interesting. Go back to 2000, he was the host of a reality game show, "The Mole", which had a five season run on ABC. Cooper did four of the five seasons. That will be a preview on how he should do in the next couple of weeks. I think Ken Jennings is the favorite to show. Rodgers is on Jennings' level. Mike Richards did well, but I see him staying as EP for the show. Katie Couric did a good job. The one that felt awkward was Dr. Oz.
@@hsupower btw, Anderson only did 2 seasons of The Mole, Ahmad Rashad hosted the 2 celebrity seasons, John Kelley did the final season.
@@marcpower4167 I stand corrected. I knew there were 5 seasons, but I thought Cooper did more than 2 seasons. I was wrong and I'll admit it.
“Title for 600” *Shows $800 transition*
Rodgers is doing a great job
I am loving Aaron Rodgers as guest host! He has the looks and personality to become THE host, in my humble opinion!
I’m a Ken Jenning hardliner but after seeing Aaron Rodgers hosting I think I change my mind. This guy is just drool-city! Make him permanent host, Jeopardy!! He seems so comfortable in that role. And his voice. Omggggggggg
I tend to forget that Wisconsin is considered "Mid-western", I always think of it as "Northern". Oh well, I guess I'll take the L.
@@danielkalmar3799 Technically Wisconsin is considered the midwest. But I get why people think if it as northern. I am from the northern midwest myself. I guess if you include Canada it makes more sense.
Well, It's a bit like calling someone from the U.S an American... People forget that America is an entire continent divided into 3 parts. When people ask me where I'm from cause they can't tell where my accent is from, I always say I'm from the south; they then ask if Georgia or Florida or Louisiana, cause I don't sound like neither of those places, to which I respond the DEEP south, as in South America!
Being further north doesn't diminish the fact that it's midwest when you're in the middle of the North American continent. Almost all the rural places in the midwest are close to the same/lots of farmland with differing weather patterns. Wisconsin is mostly farmland same as the other midwestern states.
@@munizdaniel7 Interesting you forgot the 'A'...it's USA, after all...the United States of AMERICA...where we are called Americans...lol.
@@munizdaniel7 It's true that Americans can come from the Americas. But North and South America are much less contiguous than say Asia and Africa.
Rodgers said he literally studied film of Trebek to ensure he gave the best performance he could. Absolute legend of a man
He's been the best guest host so far,he'd be great as the next host
I don't even watch football but I like Aaron Rodgers hosting
See, Aaron came in with very little TV experience, and in 10 shows, he improved so much. I'd like to see him get the job permanently. Talk about an underdog!
RIP Opus' Secret Bunker
🥲😢😤😭
Not one to root for sports players but Rodgers did a good job, especially this category. He's got a good cadence and some charm.
Plot twist: They didn't answer the Packers clue on purpose just to mess with Aaron.
Keep Aaron
Aaron is like in his head Are You Fucking Serious right now 😂😂
Oh, you know that one huh?
Arron was really the best. As Alex would say..he is really a "NICE GUY". Not just some polished public figure. He is the most real. Hope he gets the job permanently.
"Im not mad, just disappointed."
Rogers actually does a good job.
in the words of aaron rodgers, "R-E-L-A-X...relax.". i keep reading in the comments how he seems uncomfortable...he is stiff...he cannot be a host...etc. but they all admit the same thing. he has improved from his first show to his latest show. do you remember starting a new job with no prior experience? i remember my first job as a busboy in a restaurant. made every mistake possible on the first day. three years later, i became assistant manager of that restaurant. after graduating college, i became a high school teacher. on the first year, i cannot tell you how many times i was called in to the principal's office because of complaints from students and parents. now, 31 years later, i'm retired from teaching...aaron rodgers will be fine. just give him time to adjust to his new job. i'm hoping we do see more of him.
Aaron should be the fulltime host, dude absolutely killed it
Oh you know that one huh 😂
That contestant with the beard looks like the sign language interpreter from the Georgia press conferences
Aaron is so Passive - Aggressive it is hilarious
I hope Aaron takes the job on a full time basis.
We joke, but if it were me and I was less than 100% sure it was the Packers there's no *way* I'm guessing them with Aaron Rodgers right there.
This is awesome.
Bring him on permanently!!!!!!
Even though I'm not a fan of Rodgers in the NFL, I really loved him as a possible and hopefully a strong contender as a permanent host of Jeopardy.

Right?
sacrilege! confusing the giants and the A's...
We find Aaron Rodgers to be an excellent guest host with a good personality, a great yet quiet sense of humor, excellent presentation skills and good timing. He is our family’s #1 choice for the permanent position. His hosting skill is best illustrated by the fact that we forget he’s there because he doesn’t distract us from the questions, the answers or the contestants. That was one of the many, many skills Alex Trebek brought to the show.
Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers plays as the quarterback for this team. Be careful, though, he loves to catch defenses in this foul: Too Many Men On The Field.
Very clever! I like this clue and the way you worded it!! 😁
Jeopardy: LEVAR BURTON
He's really good at this
I really enjoyed Aaron's two week stint as the guest host and those contestants really disappointed Aaron there!
Norah seems to be a pretty big sports fan.
"Yes, the other one there"
I'm surprised they got the Hockey question. Seeing past sports questions in jeopardy they did well in this one
Oh, so you know that one.... lol
Can we please make Aaron Rogers the new host of jeopardy???? Please
Poor Rodgers gets no respect. 🤣
It’s almost like when Alex Trebek was disappointed over the contestants who didn’t get his show “High Rollers.”
Wow - this guy is a good host! Alex was the best, of course. I like Ken Jennings, and thought it was a no-brainer that he would be the next host, but after watching some of the guest hosts, it's clear that Aaron Rodgers has done the best so far. I'd never heard of him before, but he has a nice presence and seems to interact genuinely with the guests, and smartly/quickly.
His sexiness is just off the charts. He's the entire package - absolutely gorgeous, incredibly intelligent, his voice is beautiful, and he's witty and funny. Not to mention...cool. He's just cool! Dear God, what a sexy beast.
He’ll never be as cool as Brett Favre.

In good fun, I think you should have Will Ferrel host one time.
Poor Aaron... lol
A-Rog was my favorite guest host.
Tomorrow will be a new guest host: Journalist Anderson Cooper.
Yeah...like him or not they gotta make this man Jeopardy host
It was certainly disappointing for Aaron Rodgers that nobody got the Packers question. But given the way the clue was written, it's possible someone could have rung in and said "Who are the Chicago Bears?" Egg on everyone's faces if that had happened...
In the 1960s the Packers won five NFL Championships. The Bears won just one title in that decade, their eight overall.
@@mortemerb8839 Yes, true. As a football fan, I wouldn't have gotten this question wrong. I just meant that if a contestant who didn't know who had won NFL titles in the 1960's had heard "Midwestern" in the clue, they might have guessed Da Bears...
How did they not get that lol.. answer as too convenient i guess
Aaron Rodgers is doing good as the host of Jeopardy!!!
All the best Jeopardy hosts went to Cal.
Gotta love the Bay Area giants

They only missed the Packers question. There's not enough emphasis on NFL Championships -- only Superbowls. It's as if no football was played before 1966. With no other league is this such a problem.
Good one Ha
Did he say Edmonton Islanders? It sounded like Islanders who also had a title run in the 1980s.
