Imo sniping on Bf5 is the best it’s been, while I love 4 the sniping makes me want to vomit and 1’s was better but still not great. 5s is really fun. In reality, I believe that bazookas were actually used by Germany a little bit. It was quite common for German troops to use captured guns (a favorite being the PPSH-41 for example). Also, Germany didn’t develop a rocket launcher until 1944; even then, it was basically just the bazooka, made to fit 88mm rockets, and with a blast shield on it. So it actually could be quite a feasible late war setup.

Although it is rather embarrassing to say, especially as someone who loves both firearms and history, I was not confident my spelling of it would be correct above, so I left it at panzershreck. What I was saying above though is that the development of the panzershreck didn’t began until long after the capturing of American bazookas in Africa, hence it uses a lot of the design concepts of the bazooka. Also, as for a soldier having a bazooka, Luger, and stg44, my previous mention of captured bazookas probably being used by Germany in the late war period still stands. Though I must admit, most of my fascination lies on the eastern front and I only have intermediate knowledge of the Western front.

Honestly the only issue with the vid is when he talks about the revive. (In case of those who haven’t seen the game yet) medic is still the only class that can revive normally, but with squad mates you get squad revived, which allows the other classes to revive players in their squad but nobody else

Wouldn't it be a better idea to throw a smoke grenade then revive your teammates/other players because I find it easy to revive people without dieing especially in that tunnel bridge of the pacific, where both teams will fight under/in the tunnel bridge to the death do to a lack of cover and to take cover in the sides.

One of my fondest memories on this game was being an American on Iwo Jima Breakthrough and we absolutely steam rolled the Japanese and they held the final position for 10 minutes, then everyone held back and we launched 3 fucking rockets and EVERYONE on the Americans rushed the point and we won
That last point is always about how you launch the missiles. If you did it like Badger and aim at the cliff face, you’ll only be knocking out a few machineguns. You have to kill their back line medics by aim the rocket near the flag.

The problem wasnt really with the prosthetic clad woman being historically inaccurate, its more so the principle that when the dev team was being called out on that shit they didn't go with "yeah we know its not true, we just wanted to experiment with the game and we weren't wanting to go for historical accuracy" or something along those lines but instead they fired at their fans calling them "ignorant" and one even claiming that his 13 year old daughter apparently knew more about the history of world War two than thousands of other people combined. And to top it off they have SO MUCH material to pick and chose from to show actual events where women and even crippled people had parts to play in the course of ww2 but instead they tried to slap us in the face with what THEY wanted to push as truth and got angry when we all knew better than that.

Soviet Union had a lot of women fighting on the frontlines, mainly as snipers (with impressive kill records as well!) as well as famous "Night Witches" night bomber regiment, or hell, French Resistance had many women fighters. BFV just can be described in 2 words: Wasted Potential or Missed Opportunity. Or perhaps both at the same time works even better.

@@Event_LUNAE_Horizon There's also the fact they tried to push the WW2 Era American style racism into the French military with that French mission you play as a black guy with his brother. Reports and images show that the French marched side by side with their colored countrymen, and the logistical work was evenly split. Though I can't speak on individual French soldiers and officers but as a whole those documents that the game claimed were altered were only altered in the US. Hell the French kept those photos and documents the same. If I were French I'd feel insulted they pulled this stupid stunt.

@Zack Ceasar there is debate about whether the archives are accurate, but since these numbers were never released to the public, would they have any reason to lie? And is there any source, other than estimates, that verifies the 30 million number?

@@nightman4142 that’s where the margin of error comes from, when you count the deaths from famine, and in Soviet satellite states, it’s closer to 15 million deaths
