    • Oh so he was behind all the crappy set up opponents the UFC put up against Khabib ? GSP would have sent Khabib home in a box, but of course Dana couldn't have that.

    • @@truthseekerKJV lmao so salty. It's okay many people are too insecure and emotionally weak to accept the greatness of legends. Wonder what the excuse is going to be if Islam ends up dominating the lightweight division effectively proving khabib was in fact the lightweight goat. I'm sure you'll find a way to cope like you are now 🤣🤣

    • He knows DC loves wrestling but he can't wrestle most people for the risk of hurting them. DC knows he wont hurt Khabib play wrestling so Khabib is giving DC the play wrestling he loves and probably grew up with. Also if you see tigers and bears with people who raised them, they play wrestle as a sign of affection which is also a sign of trust bigger than just cuddling or rubbing up.

    • There is something about matchups, I think Khabib was a bit lucky with his stylistic matchups. I mean, take a look at the opponents he has faced, like, only 3-4 opponents were really a some kind of threat for him. I can guarantee that one Arman Tsarukyan for example would give a competitive fight to Khabib as well, not only him,to anybody in that division literally.

  • Islam is amazing. Smooth and technical and will be competing for the title soon. That said comparing him to Khabib simply isn’t fair. The main difference is Khabib’s crazy ability to walk through power such as Barboza’s FLUSH spinning heel kick. Khabib brushed it off. As we saw in Islams second UFC fight, he doesn’t have the same monster head to eat that power. Offensively Islam appears to be a better striker than Khabib. On the ground, both are elite yet as we saw in Islam v Hooker, it was Khabib’s coaching that enabled the finish. Khabib is better. When Khabib was reigning these 3 are only in the top 10-15. Now theyre at the top dogs of the division. Sooner or later these 3 are sitting right on the top with Fiziev, Ridell, Tsarukyan and Gamrot at the top5/sub5. Come to think of it, During Khabib's early days no one wants to fight him, he's getting ducked by everybody and UFC doesnt want him to get a hold of the belt. Khabib is calling everybody out, Pettis avoided him, Alvarez goes for the payday instead of the number next to his name, Nate Diaz turned down the offer and Melendez ducking him. Still everyone's saying Khabib didnt challenge himself. For the last 3 Last years Islam and Dariush are struggling to get a top opponent despite their winstreak, now they got the spot and fighting this time around.

    • @@thatboi9740 On Islam was a -500 favourite over Dan (who was a +375 underdog) so he was a pretty hefty favourite. But thats not what the fanbase thought, many thought Islam was an overhyped, over ranked Walmart version of Khabib who would get exposed. Of course that didn't happen and it was pretty satisfying to see all those Islam doubters and haters (also Hooker fans) be silenced. That win solidified Islam as a top contender, and he's no longer a hype train.

    • @@madgavin7568 All you have to do is look at someone's childhood to know if the hype is real or not. Of course Islam was, he has been fighting since he could walk, same as Khabib.

  • The look on his face after that knockout loss... I wouldn't want to be the people he faced on his return.. Dude has replayed the shame of that loss over in his mind 1000× and is going to imagine the people in his next fights as the one who shamed him.
