Tmac in his prime used to give kobe problems, what could've been smh. He had all kobe's skills and hes 6'9.
Kobe said that in an interview somewhere after being asked the hardest matchup of his career. That Tracy could do everything he could do but he was 6'9"
@Joe Smith they almost got Duncan too 😰

Harry P Ponder Kobe always had better teams he was on. The most comparable season as far as Kobe not being on a great team would be when the lakers lost to the Suns in like 2007.
I'm so happy that Tracy got to hear how Kobe felt such joy for Tracy's accomplishments and success. What a sweet memory to have!

MAMBA MENTALITY
Kobe seems so much more relaxed and easy going since retiring but damn I miss him on the court.
Sean TV of course, he has nothing to compete for against these other players
Freeman That and his parents didn’t approve of his wife. I think Kobe went through a dark time during that 3-peat. The media and the public talking about him and Shaq, people downplaying Kobe’s contributions to the team, his parents not going to watch any of his games and not appreciating the house he bought them because he had a Latina wife. Then he had the whole rape accusation when he cheated on his wife. All of that is what I think made him the Mamba. He took his anger and frustration out on the court, and pushed his teammates really hard. I’m sure you’ve seen him yell and push teammates in practice. He wasn’t easy to play with, but he’s a winner.
Cole Lutz Yup, Post-Rape Case Kobe was a completely different guy in comparison to Pre-Rape Case. He became severely closed off and quit really fucking with people outside of his circle thus leading to the media calling him self centered and arrogant.
Uhm Kobe was this way before he retired bruh , don't know what you were paying attention to at that time but once Kobe got over that hump with beating Phoenix and getting back to the finals he felt born again hence the number change ......DUHHHH so don't speak if you ain't gone be all the way accurate about my all time favorite player .
Cuz he was able to put away the mamba finally now that he's done.

lol people forget kobe had ALOT of injuries before the achilles. We just don't talk about it cause he played through it all. I remember in 09, he was shooting like 50% from the field and he broke his index finger. instead of sitting out, he played through it by literally adjusting his form to shoot with 3 fingers. Also in 2010, he had a bone spur and even had to drain his knee before every game, games that 99% of the other nba players would've missed. That is the part of kobe's legacy that doesnt get told by stats and how even today, no one will acknowledge. T-Mac was the first of his kind, 6’9 positionless, complete all around scorer/ball handler who’s green light is to just shoot over the defender, Players like Carmelo, KD, Paul George are all inheritors of tmac style of play.

I'll say a guy like George gervin was the original
What about Penny?
VaShaun Gervin was just as talented but Gervin’s play style was different, He didn’t dominate the ball and take as many contested shots like the guys in Tmac’s Era.
Let It Be Larrabee Penny couldnt score at will like Tmac and the rest of those guys, and Penny didn’t develop a jump shot like the players I mentioned from Tmac’s Era.
