Cristiano Ronaldo tells Piers Morgan he feels 'betrayed' by Manchester United over the way he has been treated in the last couple of years.
He also said the club has made 'zero progress since Sir Alex Ferguson left' and slammed the infrastructure at United.

I watched Ronaldo's interviews for a solid decade and when he is brutally honest it just displays in harmony. You can see the feeling of betrayal mixed with anger that he is trying to suppress. He tends to blink intensively whenever he is angry and unsatisfied. All of this just to point out the fact that certain minority evidently crossed the line. Ronaldo was committed but he didn't receive enough in return and it shows.
As a United fan I’m actually glad he called out a lot of the antics by the board and personnel of the team. Obviously he’s voicing his frustrations but the bit when he talked about there not being ANY development since Fergie left and calling out the hiring of Rangnick and the absolute amateur handlings of the team was really refreshing. Especially for a player of his name and status to say something will draw a lot of attention and I wholeheartedly hope it embarrasses the Glazers.

But then says in the media that "we count on him of course, he's very important" then doesn't give him a chance to play when they are losing 4-0 at half time or winning and dominating with a 2-0. Might as well just say that you don't count on him, be honest. And if you see the games that Ronaldo played, you can see how many times he's left to dry, especially from players like Eriksen or Bruno. Many times the guy is open or doing a run and they pass to some other player. Or in Bruno's case, if Ronaldo is open he doesn't make the pass, preferring to shoot, but if some other striker is open he does the pass. Seeing this, no wonder he wants to leave, the coach doesn't trust him and his teammates seem to follow his lead in just isolating him as much as possible. If you see how Ronaldo scored, the passes usually come from players that do want to play with him, like Garnacho, Casemiro or Antony. And Ronaldo has his fair share of guilt in this, especially because of the shenanigans on pre-season. But after that they should be honest with him about it and move on, but the politics continued and here we are.

People seem to forget where this outstanding man and footballplayer came from. He really made it from the slums, which many other famous people claim they do and it turns out to be untrue. I was moulded by watching Ronaldo since before i could even walk and to watch him grow and develop has been amazing. I am a fan of Ronaldo as a player, do not get me wrong, but his form has been decreasing ever since he started to not attend practices and their pre-season tour. Ten Hag was appointed to sweep this team and club up once more, and Ronaldo isn't exactly helping in that regard, instead of valueing the team process; he undermines it by acting as if he is bigger than the team or the club in general. If you think my view on this matter is by biase, it is far from that. I am not a Manchester Utd fan, and I do agree with some points he says, but to discredit your whole team and trainer is not a honourable thing to do. I love to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play, now and back in the day, but he took an L over here, and this interview with Piers Morgan isn't going to get him anywhere. I hope this man finds a club where he can play more often, but let's face the facts people, Ronaldo is getting more inconsistent and if there are younger and more consistent players then it is only valid that he gets benched. The sooner he accepts the fact that he is getting older, the better for him and Man Utd.
