    • Dershowitz is not being fair regarding the EDTA issue. OJ's lawyers called Roger Martz , an FBI agent, to testify as to the presence of EDTA on the sock. Martz testified that the amount of EDTA on the sock was so low that it could not have come from OJ's preserved blood. OJ' s lawyers were then forced to call a very unimpressive witness to testify that there was a sufficient amount of EDTA to conclude that it was planted.

But even if you completely disregarded the sock evidence, you still had their mixed blood in the Bronco, at the crime scene, on the gloves found on two different properties, OJs DNA on the cap at the crime scene, and so much more. Even a juror, a little old black woman, went on TV and specifically said she didn't care what the evidence was, that the police got away with beating Rodney King, and this time they were getting back at the police for getting away with it. This trial had everything to do with race. I wish someone asked Dershowitz why they went in OJs house and removed all the white people pictures throughout it, and replaced them with famous copies of black paintings and photos before the jury visited there. I want him to explain hiw ethical it was for them to rearrange OJs home to remove the "whiteness" from it, and insert all kinds of "black" items.... Dershowitz was just as much of a schemer and an unethical POS during that time to get OJ off. He knows OJ killed those people, but he doesn't have the conscience to care. • @@dltguitar6532, that little bit of blood for such a bloody crime scene? Does that raise a suspicion for you? I merely pointed out some of the reasonable doubt that lead to OJ being acquitted. If OJ did the murders, he must have had an accomplice. No one found the knife or knives that were used or the shoes or the clothes. How did he get rid of them. How did he kill two people by himself with a knife and did not get any marks on him?

I have had many an 'all' leather riding glove that seemed to have shrunk when I put it on, after it had dried after being soaked through with water. A certain type of leather when soaked with a liquid and then left to dry, can become extremely stiff and wrinkled as it dries, so that when you go to put the glove on again, it is a real struggle and as though it's a completely wrong size. In fact I remember having to throw away a pair of gloves because I couldn't fit into them after they were soaked through and then left to dry. Being soaked with blood would cause the same stiffening of the leather as water would, I think. Anyway, food for thought too many years late.

Trying to seem to be more blackish or something, to the black jurors. It didn't help. It probably hurt, actually. But it was (seemingly) impossibly silly.

    • The two biggest factors in why the case was lost were 1) Moving the trial from Brentwood to downtown L.A.; and 2) Jury selection. Everyone seems to have totally forgotten that many of the original jurors were dismissed at the defense's request, and some of those jurors said they had been leaning toward conviction. I think the final jury that decided the case had only like 3-4 of the original seated jury and the rest were alternates.

You could tell by the look on his face that even OJ couldn't believe they found him not guilty. It is so heartbreaking for the Brown and Goldman family. I can't even imagine how horrible it must have been to see that (I'm sorry) vile man walking free, playing golf after he had nearly severed her head off with a knife. I have always thought that even he thought, deep down, that he deserved to go to prison and it wouldn't surprise me at all if that is why he got himself in trouble with the memorabilia - to soothe his guilty conscience. When he got out of the bronco after initially fleeting, they found a gun, a goatee, a mustache, adhesive for the disguise items, beauty store receipts, and his passport. And Cowling had $9,000 in his pocket.

  • Very educational video. Once OJ passed away it spurred me to revisit the entire story and I was astounded to learn there were mountains of evidence that was not permitted to be shown at the criminal trial. I was astounded to read about how regularly Nicole was beaten, and the patterns of behaviour from OJ. How he chased after very young women and did not hesitate to have extramarital affairs over and over. I was astounded to see the extent to which the police and the prosecution bungled the case. I was astounded to discover Oj was a hopeless sociopath. Those two people died very violent deaths . And sometimes life is not fair. I understand why the jurors elected to acquit but the interests of the victims and their families were not served and that is where the justice system can fall short, similar to when we read of instances where completely innocent people are incarcerated for many, many years . One can only hope that society learns from all of this. I know in Canada we have made great strides in mental health, violence against women, protecting the innocent, rooting out bad law enforcement, etc. But there's much more to be done. It's always going to be work in progress unfortunately.

When you’re running lab experiments, everybody thinks that it’s like TV - you wrap everything up in an hour. That’s not what science is like and it’s not how labs run. To suppose that there was a conspiracy to implant evidence and the proof is EDTA is a very complicated theory that requires a lot of explanations. • Then there was the juror who gave OJ the black power salute as they were filing out of court. Can't forget that one. Too bad that OJ's friends and his world were too white for that guy, he'd never be allowed in.

  • The police probably thought OJ was so guilty and there was SO much evidence, that they were like WTF with the evidence and took blood home, walked through the crime scene with their shoes uncovered, etc.
