This song is a favorite of mine for many reasons: his voice, his uncanny ability to properly convey the meaning of the song, his stage presence, everything. When he goes into his head voice/flageolet, it's like....magic...such beauty and warmth emanates from him with each and every note he hits. Envelop my love in your warmth...Dimash does that every time he sings.

The song was written by Igor Krutoy for the incredible Lara Fabian, a Belgian-Canadian singer of Italian origin. Krutoy worked with her, wrote a cycle of songs, which he later offered to Dimash to choose from. Lara is Dimash’s childhood idol, he always dreamed of meeting her on stage. And this happened in 2019 at the anniversary evening of Igor Krutoy. Later, Lara wrote the words to Dimash’s song, Your Love, which you have already heard. Lara is also the author of lyrics for many songs, in particular Alagio, which was performed by many famous singers, including Dimash.

Dimash sings with his audience at every one of his solo concerts and sometimes at these special event performances like New Wave in Sochi. On the other hand, the New York concert was so very special and Dimash looked so very happy at his first concert in the USA in Dec 2019. His happiness was so very infectious and transmitted to his audience of Dears who were ecstatic to be there and the huge audience (19,000 fans from 43 countries) sang so loud it was amazing. The concert is on Dimash's channel in two parts along with the behind the scenes video. Too bad his Arnau world tour was interrupted by Covid. But he has made up for it with tremendous concerts after the quarantine was lifted starting with his online Dimash Digital Show Jan 2021 (without a live audience but tickets sold online at only $10/$20 per ticket). Dimash donated $500,000 of the proceeds to ProjectCure, a charity that donates medical supplies to needy countries around the world. Right now everyone is looking forward to his birthday concert May 24th in Istanbul Turkey. Praying hard he and the concert attendees stay safe with how unstable the world is right now.

Thanks for the reaction. There is also a video for this song, Dimash in the role of an angel. Composer Igor Krutoy wrote several songs especially for Dimash. Another performance with this song in Moscow at a concert dedicated to the police. Now Dimash does not perform in Russia, I think this is due to their aggressive policy

Thank you. This video, in spite of the slightly distracting flying swan 😂 is a treasure, especially for Dimash’s impromptu sing along which sent Igor scurrying back to the piano. That never fails to make me smile. You will find that the music video for this song is absolutely spectacular and it is somewhat based on an old fairy tale about two swans each with only one wing. You should absolutely not miss seeing it, even if you decide not to react to it. (But we would love that) It is incredibly beautiful.

Yes we missed you yesterday. Just prayed all was well for you. I sent you a request to do a fan cam of his performance of Daididau at his New York concert in 2019. While the sound is not studio quality it is very good and the video very up close. This is a Kazakh folk song. It is about a man (real person) who was imprisoned I believe for fighting for the freedom of the Kazakh people under the old Soviet rule a long time ago. Not sure of the year but someone will know. While imprison he was mistakenly told his wife left him. It is his letter to her. Kind of heartbreaking but one the fans always sing with him even if we are not good at Kazakh. The effort meant a lot to him.

Dimash does a lot of audience interaction in concert. I know you have tons of requests, but there is one particular concert where it was pouring rain. Dimash didn’t want to disappoint the dears, so he performed a “mini-concert” even though the weather was bad. I thought it was kind of dangerous considering all the electronic equipment. Dimash doesn’t always have high notes in his sings and they can be especially beautiful. Try Quaragym-ai. The first performance was in an empty theatre with just a pianist. Both Dimash and the pianist were students of a beloved college professor called Kenes. Kenes died from covid and the two of them wanted to honour him by performing one of the songs Kenes had written. Dimash struggles to get thru it. Pictures of the professor appear on the screen behind.. there is another performance of the song on the digital concert and it us also beautiful but the original was more poignant. Dimash had sung the song in his youth but it didn’t have the sense of loss that the death of kenes had brought out in Dimash.
