It's a cultural thing. Russian audiences are more inclined to sit and applaud respectfully. I know----Dimash definitely deserved a standing ovation, but it is what it is. Also need to keep in mind that this was a gathering for International Women's Day rather than a group of fans assembled specifically to see Dimash. At this point, many of these women didn't even know who he was.

I believe there may still be a few tickets available for his 30th Birthday Celebration Concert in Istanbol on May 24th/2024. Believe me the audience love Dimash very much but it is their culture to show respect to the artists by not disturbing the performance in any way. The piano player is the great Russian composer Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement just to write and play for Dimash. He wrote the music and Lara Fabian wrote the words. This was the premier performance of this dong.

Even as a Russian English speaker I find this singer's pronunciation quality highly questionable to say the least. I mean, in the very first line he pronounces "now" as "nou" instead of "nau", which is just unconscionable, frankly. Then, shortly, "whole" is pronounced as "woul" instead of "houl" and then "strength" as "strange" and then I just stopped watching. I mean, I can see it when voice coaches comment on his voice skills but I can't in a million years believe that actual native speakers could be impressed by singing that mangles their language so much in half a minute.
Why not . English is not his native language .no body force you to lesten
I'm English, his accent doesn't bother me in the slightest and his mispronunciation of the occasional word is getting less and less with each new English language song. When Dimash sings, the words don't matter, his incredible voice and the emotions he puts into every song tell you everything you need to know.
