Problem is Latrells on a million dollars and Dylan Edwards is on 800, if Edwards and Teddy are the benchmark then Latrells grossly overpaid

Mitchell carried south’s in 2022 as a fullback he got no help in the spine and no kicking game
Latrell has always played like this I’ve been saying in for years he’s hugely overrated, lazy and has no desire in defence nothings changed it’s just finally people have realised not to listen to the commentators

Gal is correct they have played three of the real form teams of the competition and come up short, there are problems but they can work them out but they will find it hard to make the eight, at the moment they are just not good enough.

Souths were dismal last week. The sin binning of latrell Mitchell for a professional foul topped it off. Souths are better than that. Latrell Mitchell can certainly do better discipline wise. Hopefully souths put in a better effort. I'm not a souths fan but i like seeing them do well.

They're making too many excuses for Latrell. If he's not like James Tudesco or Dylan Edwards, then he's not cut out to be a fullback he should be moved to centre. He might not like it but he needs to put the team first. Just my 2 cents
Move latrell to centre move wighton to 6 and send Cody to NSW cup for a week or two when he comes back play him at 7, I think this is the only option that will really work

You have got to be kidding only 3 weeks in and all these experts want to write teams chances off already. Look at what the Knights and the Roosters did last year after having had poor first halves of the season. Having good form coming into the first few rounds is an advantage but maintaining it for the whole competition will be a different challenge. Ask Souths and a few of the other finals contenders what happened to their form at the crunch end of the season last year and how 2 teams that had been written off by these same experts were able to oust them from the finals..
