Re watching this Playlist. Hit a sign post during a snow storm and f'd up my bumper cover. You make some good videos on how to perform this work. Others just like posting "budget bentley" videos for clout. Keep it up man!
Thank you for the kind words. I have a new Bentley project coming soon so stick around for it.
Will do brother, keep it up 💯
I have a brand new flying spur front bumper cover if that's what you damaged.
You ALMOST make me wanna own one of these pain in asses! Occasionally I have to work on the bosses 2013 GTC so I stay tuned to your channel. Great work, you've got more patience than I have. If it wasn't for the VW connection, you'd be screwed, but I'm sure you know that already!
Really enjoyed your videos on the rebuild and glad to see you are still looking after this beast.
Awesome video - happy to see more Bentley Flying Spur content
Hi mate , great content again 👏👍
Thank you
GREAT VIDEO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it
Lots of extra work made by bolting 2 vr6 motors together , I must admit , I would not do those jobs willingly but I cut my teeth with multi carbs and old water injection turbos . Life was just that much easier then !
Amazing.
awesome
Hey sir I have a few questions
Hello I am here at work looking at your video doing the little overtime I just purchased me a 2005 Bentley GT Continental I have a Corvette Range Rover and at 5:50 Mercedes I do all my own work on is Bentley I thought I would be scared to work on it but after watching your videos and seeing how everything goes I would definitely be doing a lot of my own work the only issue I have with this car right now is the fuel pump relays I bought this car from a car lot and I believe I need to replace the two fuel pump relays on the car they have the car where I believe they jumped the relays I'm going to take them off and purchase to relays for the car other than that the car runs fine I started thinking about the thermostat when I drive the car my fans do come on it doesn't seem like it's running hot but I haven't had this car long enough to really get deep into it but I definitely wanted to see if I had to put a thermostat in it now I know the process so your video was really helpful
Hello @4LaneBlacktop, Which part number of the thermostat housing did you use, and was it the same celsius ° rating as the original Bentley unit, as there are thermostats with ranges from a 87°c, 100°c, and 105°c, between the two brands. Also, the wire is not a sensor, but in-fact, a heating element to control the opening and closing of the thermostat itself, depending on driving at speed, or idling in traffic, or just sitting at idle, the setup is to allow it run hotter while idling to reduce emissions.
Great Bentley DIY content! This video is very straight forward. Questions: 1. Did you need a special tool to remove the ignition coils or did they pull off with your hands? 2. What torque specs did you use for the bolts on the upper intake Plenum?
Thank you. The coils just pull out with your hands. I believe the bolt torque is 12 or 14 ft-lbs.
@@4LaneBlacktop thank you!
@4LaneBlacktop are you familiar with where the heater core is located and the removal process?
hello sir, where did you get these boards for the gas temperature sensors?
Google Sid Motorsports. They are in Poland
Did you re-use the lower intake manifold gaskets? part # 07C-129-717-D
I did reuse the rubber lower gaskets
@@4LaneBlacktop so 8 upper intake plenum bolts N10158203 are recommended new?
Where to by gas thermostat sensor please?
Are there any bleed points when you drain and refill the coolant or does it self bleed ?????
Due to the thermostat location I believe it self bleeds because it is at the highest point on the engine
Can you share where you bought the boards from ? pls pls
Sid Motorsports in Poland. Google them
@@4LaneBlacktop omg Ty I love your content btw keep up the good work
@@hugepp6333 thank you
4laneblacklanetop what color Bentley flying spur v8 would you buy when you win the lottery
Id go with a dark blue even though I really do like the dark purple with the black trim.
@@4LaneBlacktop dark blue is beautiful
Black is the best color
Black is not a color, it's a friggen part time job! No thanks!
