Today I start the engine swap I've been dreading for months, by taking out the massive 6.0 W12 from my cheap, $11,000 Bentley Continental GT. I hope you like montages. Thanks to Ferrparts for coming through with a great low mileage engine!

  • I would say yes, the engine didn't run right because of wrong or bad wiring, I had a similar issue with my 2004 Honda and it wasn't giving any high rpms just the mid 3-4k and that's it. Took about 2 days to repair it and now it works like a champ.

Bentley is a top tier car company. they know how to make engines that last long. 3 months ago i witnessed a 250k+ LS engine out of a plumbing work truck compression test perfect numbers. now it will be put in a drift car. are you saying Chevy can build a better engine than Bentley?

    @ADVRaiderKTM@ADVRaiderKTM5 жыл бұрын
    • It is lol. I track removed hardware normally by putting the fastener back in place after the component is removed, or using a piece of cardboard as a template. I've also used paint pens/sticks to color code positions, angles, etc. Those are also good for harnesses, if you're removing one.

    • I was just thinking this. With all the projects hes got going on at once and then to tackle this major task hes got to do some serious storage and organization to keep everything straight. You dont want to accidentally put anything in the wrong place or lose something on these supercar projects, it's not like building an IKEA bookshelf where you expect to have a few extra parts afterwards!
