Sadly vr will still take decades more to be a household thing. At this point it's a project of passion and he's losing a lot of money on it. It won't be a thing till it's super slimmed down and has apple hyping/ releasing hardware for it or something.
@@Kurry34 My family has used it daily since the Quest 2 came out, and we’ve owned each model since the Rift. Honestly, I’m not concerned about how popular it is. As long as enough people have it to keep it in production, I’m happy.

@@unfinishedsenten One thing people will, IMHO want to use memory for is for making video recordings.. And I think the hot thing will be to make stereographic videos. And that can eat up storage. And with the enhanced high-resolution color bypass cameras I can see meta implementing being able to make stereographic images of your IRL space. I can see Meta getting into the cloud storage business to offer cloud storage for their devices. This actually would be pretty good.. because if you could access your cloud meta cloud storage on other devices.. like a laptop or smartphone? you can view them there and share them there too.. Plus. if you have some stereographic content.. you could use something like Google cardboard to view it in stereographic form as well. Would people be willing to pay a few dollars for a few dollars per month for 200 GB of meta cloud storage (something similar to Apple's iCloud+ which is 200 GB of cloud storage for $3.99/mo?)
Definitely gonna get one. I was worried that Quest 3 would be super expensive after Apple announced theirs for $3,499. Kudos to Meta for keeping the price affordable while packing in really good stuff. Good luck Apple. I hope hou can still sell some Vision Pro before it EOLs.

@@romantratwa7848 These are very niche products for early adopters. Quest caters to a wider audience since its more affordable but VR/AR still has a way to go. Most people buy this and use it a couple times then it just collects dust. Until they can basically turn them into glasses it won't have use

The problem with previous generations processing power is they lack capability to generate real time shadows in many games. Hopefully from the demo, Quest 3 would be able to make virtual experiences more compelling with shadows and enhanced graphics!
Homeboy Mark is redeeming himself. He saw the vision, I guess the implementation was rusty in the beginning. Now the public is starting to finally see what he's up to.
one downs side, should have had the power with a cable going down the back. following the spine leading to a power supply, preferably placed on the back. this allows for more reassurance of time to use. maybe even through out the day with out charge.

They are different categories, and as an apple consumer I can assure you that there will be no games, i don't understand why the meta community insists on this comparison, apple vision pro is another level, 3500 dollars, Obviously a premium product focused on being a computer that we put on our face and not a video game
@@NatanPereira-zt5hb Here's the thing. Quest can also be used as a wearable PC. We can utilize multiple screens inside the Virtual World, and in Actuality. We have keyboards we can literally bring into the Virtual World, even our couches. It has all of Apple Features, and more. This is why it's Mixed Reality. It's more than just gaming. I sometimes use my headset to watch movies with friends in BigScreen VR, and browse the web.

Apple intentionally designed the Vision Pro to Fail. Their pockets are long enough to play the game on that level. While at the same time I personally am more in favor of the Meta Quest 3

First off, needs more storage for the price. You can get 1tb micro sd for $60-100ish and they want $150 more for 380ish more gb... For that much more, they should give the 512gb model eye tracking to push more performance into it making it lot better.
are those the same hand controllers that came out with the Quest Pro? and do the hand controllers come with the Quest 3 at $499? or do you have to order them separately for additional money?
@@adrianilabej317 so are they relying on an aray of IR LEDs for tracking? And if so, i suppose their battery life would be better than the hand controllers of the Quest Pro controllers which have cameras for tracking??
@@manp1039Yes, the IR lights are still there, theyre just not on a ring anymore, they also sort of use hand tracking at the same time to get a more accurate model of exactly where the controller is, compared to the pro where the controllers track themselves with their cameras, which is why their battery life is so comparatively bad. The controllers do come with the 500$ model and in reguards to the controller battery life, it should be the same as Q2, so still really good battery life

Looks great. Hoping there will be a Quest 3 lite with the Snapdragon XR2 removed and battery swapped out for a wired powerbank, aimed at PCVR. Would be soooo lightweight and comfortable.
their not aiming anything at PCVR, they ended that with the rift s, they essentially ended support 6 months after the rift s's release

Received my Quest 3 2 days ago. Image is much sharper than in Quest 2. Nice feature Mixed Reality only tested 1 game. My daughter 6 years old loved it. Seems the battery becames faster empty than in Quest 2. Thought after Quest 2 they would come with full body tracking but now it is Mixed Reality.
