  • She was on a manic episode that caused her to go into psychosis. 2 of my close friends suffer from bipolar disorder and we needed to involuntarily hospitalize them after they lost their minds in a prolonged manic state. Elisa must not have had the right medication. I think her doctor shouldn’t have let her travel in that state without the right meds.

    • i can follow that the thing im confused about is how and/or why she got in the water tank. it was probably possible if she went up the fire stairs and climbed up in the water tank closed it from the inside and took her clothes off. I find it unlikely that someone in a manic episode did all that.

      @-sammot-@-sammot- Жыл бұрын
    • @@-sammot- she didn't get into the tank and close the lid behind her. When she was found the lid was open. If you understand that she was having a mental breakdown, then the leap to believing that she jumped into a water tank and took off her clothes is a short one. You can't rationalize irrational behavior displayed during a psychosis.

Go up to the water tank and drown yourself. There are plenty of other ways to commit suicide. This girl was sad and mentally down about something. A water tank on a hotel room is a good way to hide your body. She didn’t want anyone finding her. Or she didn’t leave any notes. She smarter to fight voices telling her to kill herself She would have got a councilor. She went to the hotel on purpose and when the elevator opened it was because someone pressed the button o that door causing her to think that someone found out where she was going but that person went away. She can resist temptation like Jesus did. Can you picture another good way to hide your body if commuting suicide. I would have to find out her mental blood with her parents and if anything was disturbing her Thru out life. This wasn’t a demon. The hand movements was just hand fiddling. I do it too. She could have drowned her self at the hotel. But didn’t because she didn’t want anyone to find her body. I’m smart and I know that fhis wasn’t a demon. Rather something wrong with her life. She thought no one would find her body.

    • Firstly, my condolences go out to the Lam family. But I also feel for the hotel maids and maintenance workers the world over who find suicide (or murder) victims in rooms. Sadly, it happens a lot and it is not in their job description. Emergency workers and law enforcement are also confronted with some really fucked up scenarios and I'm sure it disturbs them, but they're not walking into these situations blindly. This one was particularly ghastly in that hotel guests were ultimately the ones who made the discovery-however indirectly-in a most gruesome fashion. I never want to stay in a hotel again. I don't drink tap water anywhere-that's not so much the issue for me, but if you watch enough "BuzzFeed Unsolved" or "Forensic Files," or "Unsolved Mysteries" quarantine at home doesn't seem so bad.

    @NagaBomb@NagaBomb2 жыл бұрын
    • Apparently there are actual “ghost scientists”! I just learned this after watching the docu-series Surviving Death on Netflix - there’s the academic field of phenomenology and there’s also a really old group of researchers called the Society for Psychical Research (founded in 1882 in England). Look it up and check out the show bc they have collected and investigated a bunch of data, identifying fake vs real evidence for telepathy, clairvoyance, seances, apparitions and hauntings. Tbh I’m bummed bc I love this stuff and had no idea it was a real academic field until now 😭

It used to be one was depressed 6 months then ok 6 months. But now there are different levels to it. I highly doubt she undressed, climbed the tank and took lid off to get in. It never really said her cause of death. It led you to believe she drowned.

    @jenneliz2020x@jenneliz2020x2 жыл бұрын

    • @@jenneliz2020x she didn’t just commit suicide. She was having a manic episode. She was hallucinating that she was being hunted down so she hid. Your eyes adjust to the dark pretty quickly. She saw an open tank, and, in her feeble mind, hid from her non-existent threat. Unfortunately, there was no way up. She eventually got hyperthermia which caused the paradox undressing effect. She eventually got tired and drowned. She never meant to kill herself. In fact, she was trying to live. She was just not in the right state of mind to successfully do so.

Also, the alarm never went off? Someone explain how she legit got on the roof and there’s no footage of it? And when she’s on the roof, how the hell did she get on top of the water structures, lift off a heavy lid, and get in? All while taking off her clothes? I mean I just can’t come down to one answer. I don’t understand

    @mattanspach@mattanspach2 жыл бұрын
    • 1. She got up to the roof via the window, I heard somebody say that canines tracked her sent there 2. And about the alarm, i think theres only an alarm in the fire escape stairs door way 3. There would be no footage probably due to the lack of surveillance cameras on the roof or on the way to the roof, and nobody probably saw her from outside the hotel doing so 4. The tank was already wide open apparently when she got there 5. There were ladder leading right into the tanks 6. She probably snapped out of her hallucinations and realized what she had done, and that she couldn't escape from inside the tank and removed her clothes to lessen the weight of her body and prolong her survival. But then again, i have done minimum research on this topic and I am only relaying the research of the others in this comment section have gathered. So please don't take my word for this and possibly look into this a bit more at your own time Thank you

  • I fee like her being bipolar doesn't explain her behavior in the elevator. Being bipolar means you have states of euphoria and depression, it doesn't mean that you talk to imaginary people and act bizarrely. That behavior is more consistent with a schizophrenic, who has problems perceiving and interpreting reality.

    • This is about the elevator, I may be completely wrong with this, but isn't there an elevator game where if you hit so many buttons, depending on what floor you land on, there will be a little girl and then if you did something to anger her, something would happen to you? I may be completely wrong but it was just a thought.

      @jaygriffiths5647@jaygriffiths56475 жыл бұрын

  • They just missed that she pressed all the elevators buttons and the reason she was probably acting weird is the make sure nobody was coming to the elevator because she probably wanted a ride to all the floors and didn't want to inconvenience others but that doesn't explain everything else

    @scarletking115@scarletking115 Жыл бұрын
  • What floor was she on when she entered the elevator? If the doors weren’t closing, she was probably looking for others to get into the elevator. This why she exited the elevator, made weird gestures and was fiddling around waiting for other people to enter, as this is a universal action for anyone that has used an elevator. Her odd behavior was due to this in my opinion. Anyone agree?

Lots of people talk to themselves when not on any kind of drugs while alone when in any kind of confusing and/or stress filled situation. Like when an elevater system quits working while you are trying to get out of it to get away from a bad date which can happen to anyone instead of only prostitutes.

It was stated due to the cut the time stamp was warped (unclear as you see in the video) and her mouth looked pixelated at one point. Police stated that sometimes videos are edited because a person might be on video who doesn’t pertain to the case so they “cut” them out. So what I’m thinking is that when she was waving her hands around outside the elevator, perhaps she was talking to someone..... either way I feel horrible because I think this girl was murdered and it got swept under the rug.
