@@zikzag100 Don't wanna argue. But your points can be said literally about any player, as football is ultimately a team sport. However, my point is that even after Ronaldo won the UCL 3times in a row, even after Ronaldo won the Euro Cup, he is still criticized after every single time his team loses a match. Take his first season in Juventus as an example. He literally scored 5goals in Second round and QF of the UCL. Because of defensive error, Juve lost out to Ajax. He was ridiculed because he couldn't deliver the UCL. If the same thing happened with any other player, the entire media would say how unfair it is to that particular player because team couldn't live up to the standard. The entire media criticized the Argentine team for so long saying they let Messi down. However, the media didn't do the same thing with Ronaldo, when he was in Juve. My point is that there is always a negative bias towards Ronaldo, by the media, no matter how many times he achieved/achieves things, breaks records, etc.

That's where I got motivated by him that, I have to go out and do something for myself, something that I love.... I left my country in 20's, immigrated to Spain, got selected in different teams.. I can't continue that because of some injuries and medical problems... I was thinking to go back home and close the chapter But again this guy stopped me from doing so, 2016 was the game when I saw him in Euros before saying good bye to my play.... And after ofcource I was influenced.. I Couldn't play, but decided to do some job in this field only.... Today I am happy to work as football technician (Jr analyst).... Not only happy to earn money on my own, but the happiness is that I didn't give up, and doing what I want... Just because of this man... That's why no matter what he will always be my favorite player Edit : GOAT 🐐

I just rewatched his Jonathon Ross interview before watching this and I can't believe his English is better now than it was back then when he's been in Spain and Italy all this time. He's just such an impressive, mentally strong dude. Glad you're back home, Ronnie. We need your mentality. ❤️

Ronaldo is the hardest worker in the room, every coach and manager has said that about him and he always gives his best. His drive and work-rate is so relentless and admirable.
he works hard to have six packs and money for himself only, not for the team.
@@TheTruthness2011 keep hating on him and he will keep breaking records, he also loves his kids and treats them well so I don't think you have a clue what you are talking about or just one of those sad people that hates on other people's success in life. The older I get, the more respect I have for this guy
I'm a City and Messi fan, but I admire this guy so much. I have a lot of respect for him, not only because he a sensational striker or the fact that I regard him as super goal-scoring machine, but simply because of the winning mentality that he has always had throughout his entire career and still having even at 36. He's a beast. A true definition of a hard worker. ✔️ Always steps up to single-handedly rescue his team.
If ole leaves he can be unstoppable
You so right 💯
Props to you Adam. Not a lot of us sane football fans left these days. We should enjoy both Messi and Ronaldo while we have them
@@k.yashwanth8693 I doubt if Conte(Who's currently rumoured to take up from Ole) would use him as much though

he is right, motivation it's everything. if he wants to play, and he has motivation to fight for it, which let's be honest, he has loads of motivation, he will keep playing and playing and win. I don't see this man retiring before 40.
He is just an incredble disciplined individual. Absolute respect for him and his family. What a great example of the being the greatest and how people criticise you more than others
He doesn't want to retire his international football, let the Goat be and stop asking him that question multiple times
Exactly. It never occurred to me that someone could even ask him this question.
I want to see him next Euro also 😅

@@Emre_Za Ronaldo is older yet messi has had more retirements
He's still carrying Portugal with crucial goals at 36. No doubt he will be at Qatar unless he is injured but it wouldn't even surprise me at this point if he does his final world cup at 41. The advancements in modern exercise and sport science this last decade have allowed athletes in all sports to delay retirement.

Absolutely brilliant. ‘I don’t like to lose’ attitude every player should have.
But Ole Does Like, Laugh when lose, lose for laugh that's oles philosophy.
@Jordan Reed every player has this or they wouldn’t become pro Ronaldo has the attitude but also the skill and discipline
Every player doesn’t have this. Some play for a draw. You don’t see every player come off the pitch fuming and muttering too themselves at a draw
Imagine asking Ronaldo if he still has drive 😂 he’s literally one of the hardest working players EVER and I’m not even a Man Utd fan.
You say it like you need to be a fan of a team to praise an impeccable player lolol.

His mentality should be taught in schools and universities. An honest and hard working man is Ronaldo that he should deserve to go down as the greatest player ever to play the beautiful game of football.
You can’t teach his mentality you have to find it within you. Basically have a strong will.
Or just read a good sport psychology/philosophy book? Hes a legend but there are many like him in other disciplines.
Ronaldo is so committed! 🔥🔥
i can tell from his face that he is 36 years of age. but how he takes care of his body to perform how he performs at this age is beyond my imagination.. having scored a total of 801 career goals im wondering where he is going to stop, will it be 999? 1000? 1001? EDIT: to add to it, i totally enjoyed this interview, Ronaldo's English has gotten so much better over the years.
